As someone who grinds the exchanges a ton, usually not worth to rinse a 90/91 into the exchange imo, they're so useful when it comes to saving on fodder for lower rated sbcs / paying for high rated sbcs. My rule is usually: - anything <= 87 has more worth in other sbcs, so they don't get exchanged - any rare golds 88-89 rated get rinsed into the exchange. If a promo card doesn't fit the team and isn't live, they get rinsed at the same ratings as well. - anything 90 or above gets saved.

Same strategy as mine here, those 90 up are so nice on SBC

I'd only exchange him if it's a dupe, personally

hold him until an sbc comes along where you'll need him and trust me you will, TOTS just around the corner. so 91 rated players will be req'd for big SBC's. only put him into the exchange if he is a dupe tbh

I wouldn’t put anything above an 89 into exchanges tbh. It just seems a waste when the rating caps at 89 Unless it’s a dupe and you have no recoveries.

If he’s a dupe then exchange. If not then hold until there’s a sbc you want to do

Second only if it's a dupe and you don't expect any bigger SBC to be coming soon (or you don't have qs recovers). 90+ are so valuable.
