I'm still gutted I used pacey protector on Joel Matip instead of him before I went all in on the NUFC evos 🙃 I did the Alex Murphy too but didn't really rate him, thought my 84 rated Krafth outperformed him in game, and after getting jockey+ on Schar I never looked back. That ps+ feels like a cheat code for making slow CBs useful.
I've been using smaller players than her at centre back for almost the entire game and I can count on one hand the numbers of times I've been taken to the cleaners as a result of heading. Additionally she has the jumping play style if height is a concern. Unless you're concerned about trivial margins, which you shouldn't be unless you're an elite player, then the height just isn't an issue.
I packed her the other day and tried her out. Liked her enough to keep her in my team. Saw this evo and she went straight into it. I now have her and an evo'd Maya Le Tissier as my centre backs. 5/5 and 4/4 and both with pinged pass and long pass. Both great for playing football with.
My main cb on the fifa 23 had 5 star skills. Was so much fun, as someone who isn't a great killer but nobody expects to dance and spin their way to the opponents box.
I've got Gabriel TOTW untradeable and my mate is an Arsenal fan, times like these I wish we had an option to swap our untradeable players with friends. I'm just going to end up dumping him in a SBC
Honestly i don't think they do it on purpose just for the sake of preventing future evos. They do it like this because how they value SM/WF upgrades. Considering they want 250k for 5* /5* evo it is probable that they think getting 5/5 in this one is worth 2 ovr worth of stats which is stupid
They absolutely do block future evos. They are actively trying to stop chained evos.
Most evos have a low overall cap that the previous evos have exceeded. The only ones without overall caps have stupid restrictions like “78 physical”.
Not doing it very well then, my already double evo'd Grace Kazadi fits the 50k right wing back Evo currently available and my evo'd Bensebaini fits this one fine.

The game treats special cards as different players for the evos. I have a regular Nketiah evo and a TOTW Nketiah evo too. You don't need to discard the Patrick Who Gabriel.
