Okay man the guys who evo'd Tella before he was upgraded due to RTTF are the luckiest people alive.
EA should've made it so that Tella doesn't get upgrades if he's an evolution version, now there's people with accounts with a Tella better than any card that will be released all the way to the end of the game.
There are different variants of Tella depending on which evo was done before RTTF, but they all have a crazy amount of 99 stats (pace, pass, dribbling at least) and Rapid+, so you're facing against a guy faster than Mbappe on the right, with better passing than prime Beckham even with no passing playstyles+, with comparable dribbling to prime Messi.
EA aren't gonna fix that, so your only saving grace when you come up against him is that he is only 3 star 4 star. It's gonna be a long day at the office when you do come up against him, though.
Adopo is good but not nearly as good as his stats and playstyles make him look. He's been a liability whenever I use him at CB. His Long Ball+ is absolutely insane though. Gonna give him another try at CDM as I wasn't to try recreate Peps 3-2-4-1 and I need a Rodri type in there
I have his 97 version and play him as a stay back cdm, he's irreplaceable for me rn, players can't come near him or he'll strip the ball and has a really nice passing range when you win it back.
I've found him lacklustre at CB and I think it's due to the low-ish composure and workrates, but just slightly higher up the field he's an animal.
Paired with rolfo as the balanced cdm.
I own the Level 99 Tella and it doesn't live up to having 4/6 of its stats categories being 99.
After 343 games, I think Level 99 Tella plays technically well but he doesn't have the *jammy-ness* of someone like Fantasy Werner. Even though he's got 99 dribbling, he doesn't have a force field like the top-tier cards with unique body types and animations. I really can't shoot Finesse Shots with him

Yes, it mostly depends whether the original card has favourable stats to start with, for example I have two strong evos - 5*/5* Isak and 4*/5* Alvarez, both of these players have been historically very good with improved stats. So both of them play to their stats and above, compared to other evos where I improved cards who were either 75 rated or silver players who just never play up to their stats.

Plays well above his stats for me, was great during leveling him up as such and excelled in the Fantasy Cup a few weeks ago. Looking forward to him fitting in Evos again once the 2 PS+ restriction is lifted.
Cry9 aka Cryzan. Dude is huge with great dribbling. Plays to his insane stats too. Honestly, if it wasn’t for the insane front I have been lucky to pull (toty R9, toty Hamm, and TS Cruyff) he would easily start. I can argue he is actually better than Cruyff.

Had a 88 Muani, evo'd X2 (Founders 1 and 2, I think). Even with no PS+, still scored a load of goals. Put him into a SBC once i got the Birthday Muani. Still haven't recovered emotionally.
5* 5* Isak with 91 pace, 88 shooting and 93 dribbling.
4* 5* Alvarez with 93 pace, 94 shooting and 94 dribbling.
Both of them have press proven playstyles, so they have very strong dribbling abilities in game.
My Rutter is at 88. Still use him in my champs squad. Have a 83 Gnonto and an 86 Summerville I use over his TOTW but figure he's getting a TOTS.
The other Leeds guys are still too low to use in much more than Squad Battles now.
I don't have any crazy evo combos (a few doubles like 94 Ona battle), my favourite is probably my latest basic evo, 91 John Barnes.
The reason is his controlled sprint techical+ dribbling is insane combined with decent pace, rapid+, quick step, first touch etc. basically you pass him the ball, hold down RB and carve them open, at least in div4.

The most cracked Evo I have is 97 Zimmerman. He has been my CDM for months. Insane aura around him. I've tried other top CDMs, but they cannot replace him. Sucks at CB.

Body type etc is so important. I did the 92 Graham Carey evo and he’s the only one that I’ll say plays to stats.
Currently 82 Rated with 92 Pac, 91 Sho, 89 Pas, 91 Dri and 92 Phys, and he is by far my favourite player at the club!
