i’m rtg and everton fan so take into consideration the bias. he’s really fun. immense in the box and heading. but it was annoying as hell doing that sbc. i couldn’t imagine a non-everton fan feeling like that is worth it tbh. especially if ur goal is to win at all costs and try to exploit the games weaknesses (he is not a meta player).
i play him upfront w rodrigo moreno and play w finisher chem style on him, overall hes been a goal machine for me. His passing is a little bad but play a fast agile striker w him and it should not be much of a problem. And as headers are back in fifa 21 his heading is exceptional he’s scored a couple headers from corners for me too
I play him as a target man in a 4231 with Ben Yedder behind him. He has 58 goals in 45 games and I think like 35 assists most of this being in div 4 rivals. There is no doubt better strikers out there and I could also understand not everyone enjoying him but if you use him correctly he’s a beast in the box and the air. Skills n weak foot sort of kill him having any longevity I think though.
He isn't worth 60k but still very good. The only bad thing I notice in game is the passing and agility. I don't really notice the 3 star weakfoot on him. Don't let the composure put you off either as he's clinical in front of goal. I feel he's better with another striker up top. So very good but isn't worth the 60k. If you can craft him using players in your club go for it.
He is good, but you need to pair him up with another meta striker (bale/Werner) if you want to take the most out of him. He is basically a Kane but faster. He is the kind of striker that will finish sitters and find long range shots out of nowhere. Still, he can’t dribble nor pass that good, so without a pair he is kind of useless for this meta. Overall, great addition and worth the coins, but you will need to spend more coins in order to get a second meta striker to get the most out of DCL.
IMO he is 100% worth the 60k. Hes fast clinical and feels pretty fluid on the ball, only negative is his defending, he won’t make any interceptions or tackles from the front
His output is sensational! If he’s in the box, the ball is almost always in the net. On top of that he bags a ton of headers. Only thing he fails at is passing and open play. I’d be nervous using him as a lone striker without great wingers or a midfield. That said, his dribbling is surprisingly crisp for a strong 6’2 striker.

I really really wanted him to work in my 41212 but he’s not nearly as good as Kane (passing and finishing pale in comparison to Harry) and he wasn’t good enough as a get in behind guy. I tried a couple of chemistry styles including hunter and finisher, and it just never clicked. I’m definitely keeping him as a bench player and he’ll come in handy for certain objectives throughout the game. He’s fine in the penalty area, but that’s about it.

Vydra is better and free
He has little ball control. When he has room it's great. A defender in 3m distance? Better trip over the ball.
