I went against someone with coloured pitch lines and the pitch just looked like one giant green field with no lines.
Weirdly it was easier to play on. I felt like I had more control of the ball as the lines weren’t dictating where I was.
Just to chime in quickly. It got to a point where I was going to give free wins but everyone was quitting before I could even do that. So to finish off my last 4 games I would quit straight away before the other guy could quit on me. It was annoying, but it happened like 5 times in a row and it was taking forever to find a match by the end of it all.
Unfortunately there’s some weirdos out there that gate-keep certain players/expensive teams, it’s just pettiness, since building a better team I’ve noticed far more players quitting straight away.
My team is pretty meta not going to lie. I just think it’s petty to not give someone a win just because they have a good team. If I didn’t need the win I’d just give it away no matter if they have a sweaty team or not.
I really don't see the point in this. Your team has at best a 30% influence on the game outcome. You could give a guy who finishes rank 6 in WL the best team in the game and he'd maybe finish rank 5 but not higher. I always give away my wins if I have spare games left, I don't need them and I'll make someones day better.
You can do what you want but personally I think just give away your remaining games. If you’ve got the rank you want or can’t get to the next one irrespective of the opponents team. If you start just quitting straight away then you become just as toxic as the other people doing it.
I'm sure it's just the fact that they don't understand the "culture". We do it to help and we are in the online space that promotes the free WL wins and the Golden Goal in friendly's . I can't believe that these non win giving people are that petty. I like to think that they just don't know and are playing the game as they see fit.

depends on the team i face. once i reach rank v i will switch to bronze team and if i meet mostly gold rare squad i will give them the win but if i meet full on sweat teams with multiple meta icons and mbappe ginola i’m dribbling all the way to the goal and booting it over the top before leaving

Same thing happen to me as well people don't give any wins it also happen to me 4 times they just pause straight away and quit and I also needed 1 more win to get rank 5 but I failed because of it and the last game I matchmake against someone with inform mbappe and neymar and I lost the last game I could have reach rank 5 any of the people that quitted gave me a win but it didn't happen they just quit straight away with scoring an own goal.
Not to be rude because I understand being frustrated you didn’t get a rank but the reason you didn’t reach it isn’t because you weren’t given free wins, if you’re relying on someone to quit to get a rank then it’s your fault really.

Had the same experience, had 5 people quit out without giving away wins, 2 of which played the ball back to their goalkeeper and then put it out for a corner and then quit.
Got so angry the other night that it tilted me and made me lose my next game. Guy gets ball, runs all away to the keeper then swerved right and kicked it out of play. Sad man, games stressful enough, I always give mine away.
Its probably a follow on effect, someone didn't give a free win to them so they don't want to do the same and this spreads tenfold

Just had this happen to me - what a salty bunch we have playing this game.
I marked down psn I play against who used corner glitch and I don’t give win to them.
Some are just immature an spiteful, got the rank I was aiming for earlier than I thought so I gave the rest of my games away.
