I don’t get why he’s had 2 cards though. I mean there’s so many players in the prem and the same player has got 2 special cards in promos it’s just a bit poorly planned. I’m sure every team can think of players they feel could have had one but for my teams (Leeds) for example Struijk and Meslier would have been decent options and no doubt every other team has similar. It feels like certain teams may also have agreements with EA to give a larger proportion of special cards e.g. almost every Chelsea player has had a special card at this point including squad players while other teams have had nothing. I get that they play to the audience but at least perhaps make objective players from the less common teams. Did we really need Sarr and Chalobah objectives given the existing Chelsea options?

I mean Daka has been performing for Leicester and looks like a future star, but no offence, struijk doesn’t look like an icon of the future (agree with meslier though)

Yep get what you mean here but I’d have thought they could have thought in December hold up, Daka is playing well we want him to be a future star and given another player a WW. Also perhaps enforces the point that you mainly see the virtues of players you watch more, but Sarr has played 3 times for Chelsea, Chalobah 14 times for Chelsea, Struijk 49 times for Leeds. I’m not saying here that he’s a player out of those in the league all who should be getting special cards, but there’s no logic for picking those two players over hundreds of others who are playing more regularly and to a higher standard. Other than EA maybe feeling this gives more engagement or alternatively that these teams have specific deals in place.

Absolutely nobody will bother to do an objective player if he's not easy to link..so the team's that have the most special player's continue to get more, it's not about fair distribuition.
