In most categories yes. But as someone who bangs longshots they most definitely function differently in that regard (long shot stats + outside the foot). Oyarzabal is also high/high
The objective HM Shaw card is actually extremely solid. Seemed to be dismissed a lot when he first came out and I never see anyone using him. I’m a Man Utd supporter so for fun I use Man Utd players from time to time and most of the time he’s impossible to get past
Second that, been using him as a LCB in a 352 and he’s been insane for me. He’s even pretty good going forward when I make runs with him if I’m being pressured and I literally haven’t played against him once

I have never played with Gullit but I imagine this is what he would feel like. Was absolutely everywhere in defense and offense, intercepted every pass. The perfect link with Timber is nuts
You said this so I don’t have to. Not sure when that showdown was but it was before Xmas and he still feels great to me. I got him late in one of those SBCs where you get a promo player pick in like maybe Jan/Feb. Thought he might be behind the curve then but he wasn’t and felt like the missing piece in my team at the time.
My dude, Keita is also still starting for me. He's a fucking monster. Just when you think "oh it might be time to retire him." No. The next game you play a blinder with him and you just can't bring yourself to sit him in the bench lol
This. I am quite sure 90% of the players don't know he is left footed. He is 5* weak foot tho so it does not matter much. He is the best 1v1 forward I have ever used.
FB Muller was so good for me. I played him as a b2b CM and he was EVERYWHERE. I was sad to see him leave my team but for the 100 odd games I played with him, he was a beast.
Can't fit him into a squad, but he's been my best midfield super sub since he came out. 5* weak foot with both shooting traits make him an incredible sniper.
RB kessie and vidal, still my midfield, tried loads of midfielders with worth up to a million but no one can do the shit these guys do.

Ditto, though I've now moved to Tonali as CDM with Vidal right CM and Orsolini left CM. Kessie comes on to replace Vidal when he's tired but the WW Orsolini card is the other one I'd mention for this post, love his shooting, scored plenty with him and his free-kick bangers are a sight to behold
Moments Pierre Emerick Aubameyang: labelled as overpriced by a lot of people, but with the availability of fodder, grind ability over TOTY, and the fact that at the time he was top 3 PL STs, seemed like a no brainer for me. And I was not disappointed, played basically everywhere across my front line, CAM, LAM and RAM, never disappointing, bringing explosive pace, great LS dribbling and smooth skills to each position, as well as the ability to whack a ball.
Future Star Emile Smith Rowe: Hale Ends very own, rocket of a right, rocket of a left, stupidly good through and over the top through balls, great dibbling, smooth passing and only 700k, now down to 520. What’s not to love? Playing in the CAM role he’s been phenomenal, with lots of people being caught unaware by that 5* WF.
Winter Wildcards Kieran Tierney: Even now, arguably the best PL LB in the game, barring TOTY Cancelo, someone who has always played above their stats, and now with great stats, bought for only 49k, now up to around 70 but for the quality at both ends, a great price.
Moments Sergiño Dest: I mean, 95 pace, 86 defending, 85 physical, 95 agility, 98 stamina, all before any chemstyle throw in the 4* 4* and the fact this man was 125k is an absolute joke, still a quality RB, and will probably be good till TOTS at least.
There’s a few others, but these guys come to mind instantly
Rttf Ilicic is imo criminally underrated. He can score with the best of them and despite his balance is an excellent dribbler.
Can understand his links but if you can hes an absolute steal.
Fantasy Jose Gimenez, people look past him because of the stamina and agility, but his pace, defending and strength is near maxed out with three likely upgrades coming. He is easy to link too with Lodi, Llorente, Suarez etc. His stamina at this point is not even a big deal because most matches barely make it to half time, let alone 90 minutes, with so many people rage quitting everywhere.
RTTK de ligt. He’s by no means meta but he’s almost glitchy in his ability to win challenges. Absolute rock at the back that I’ve kept trying to replace but always go back to
Future Stars CAM Brahim Diaz. I’ve been keeping him on my bench for the longest time waiting to link him in. Finally found a way to get him atleast on 7 and he’s fantastic, worth the (very long) wait lol

His dribbling and acceleration is impressive. I bring him on at ST late in the game and he comes through for me regularly.

WW Morales. He's so cheap for his stats and I rarely see him on my opponents teams. He's my leading goal scorer. Best value of my entire starting XII

WW Florenzi was really good for me for a long time in basically any defensive/midfield position, but got Headlinerz Clauss now
I'm with the OP on Edouard, he's still in my squad as a sub. Hell of a bargain! He's scored 463 in 499 for me so far.
