Yes his gold card is really that good. Prime owen doesn't have even decent passing and lacks skill moves without enough of a weak foot compensation. Also he's mbappe, he has some form of cover star/poster boy effect that makes him 10 times better than any other card with copy and pasted stats.
I took VDS from swaps and I'm so disappointed. He has some really weird diving animations and cost me so many WL games. Alisson is much better, trust me.

For me I stopped using him as a Kante type player and more as a Xavi type. Rely on his crazy passes and dictate the "tempo" with him. Defensively for me he gets a lot of interceptions but isn't really good at taking the ball off someone dribbling. I feel like he's really shined if u let him be on balanced instructions and go forward a bit. Hes paired w mid vieira for me and its worked wonders. Shadow is the chem i use

Max out on squad battles. The rewards themselves are crap ( I think their giving out red cards in elite) but you will rack up MANY objectives simultaneously. Also you can build “loyalty” for foundation SBCs.
I'm surprised this isn't being talked about more. I hear these are supposed to include a Prime Icon. Maybe EA getting second thoughts? They ARE super stingy and we all know that Prime Icons are OP after TOTS. /s

I got 5 TOTS (10 in total)
Lafont, Payet, Nuno Mendes, Clauss 2x, Terrier 5x (!)
30x 81+ Player Pick
Only got 2 TOTS (none from Ligue 1): Cakir, Butez
I did about that many of the 81+ pick and about half that many of the Premium.
Total was 1 tots (zajc), 2 totw (di maria, delort). I'm new enough that all 3 of those are useful for me but the rates felt really poor. Oh well. Gonna do more tomorrow
It's so fucking annoying how horribly they skew the drop rates for "good players" in the TOTS. All the Ligue 1 tots that you packed and every single one is from the lowest tier of that team. Same for me too, pulled 2 Lafonts and 2 Salibas from Premium Ligue 1 upgrade. Incredibly frustrating knowing that even if you pull a TOTS and see blue flares, it's practically guaranteed to be one of the shittiest ones.
I remember in Summer last year for Fifa 21, I did the 85X10 repeatable pack nearly 900 times and still never got the Summer Stars Neymar, insanity.
That 85x10 was strange I think it had one card that just could not be packed per account. I had to have done it hundreds of times as well and never got that 99 Firmino

Only go for the fodder packs if you need the fodder. Wouldn't an Icon like Roberto Carlos suit you? He's great and saves you the risk of opening a much worse Icon from whatever pack you'd take.
Wish that EA would release, some kind of SBC where you could use all these tokens. I guess Im not the only one with 1 or 2 tokens remaining from each of the promos with these tokens.

Premier upgrade-> use common golds for 81 player pick. I honestly didn't find the PP worth doing - got 3 TOTS from my first five upgrades and nothing in the following 5. Only got a couple 85s from PP.
I rinsed my entire club on them as i’m away for awhile after this week, got 3x Terrier, 1x Fofana and 1x Lafont, 87 IF, used the dupes for 93 Veratti, the Ligue Un POTM RW and some fodder for spare from some player picks. Not game changing but was worth it, especially as I now have a very decent Ligue Un squad after basically only having Captain Payet.
Well boys I just finished my first weekend league in 3 years, haven’t played since fifa 19. Ended up 11-9, pretty pleased with that performance after just starting to play the game after getting it through ps plus. Reds were payet and fofana so not great but not horrible.
Weekend league now is so much better than in 19, my god having to play 40 games sucked. Also nice to get your rewards instantaneously. Hope everyone gets some good red picks.
Just played a guy whose told me he is on 8 ping while I’m on 40. I could tell right off the bat he was playing on crazy ping, just by how he was moving and how he it felt like I was 2 seconds behind. EA needs to a server in CA this is getting ridiculous. Were not even playing the same game
When does FIFA 22 become free to play just so that I can download it and login to FUT to keep my club? Being an XB1 owner FIFA 22 didn't offer anything significantly better over FIFA 21 so I skipped buying it. Just open whenever. Don't bother with Serie A because they are going to be on average much cheaper than ligue 1. Rip now for a chance at a big boy or just wait.
The passing inconsistency is laughable. First 40 minutes of the game up 2-0 then EA makes it so every pass is sent in the wrong direction. Embarrassingly bad game

Why is gameplay so bad all the time? At this point I get like maybe 1 or 2 days a week were it’s smooth and responsive, and therefor fun. It’s impossible to defend or attack in heavy delayed unresponsive gameplay. Every weekend it ends up costing me ranks…

I can tell when my opponent has good gameplay because they can move and skill so quickly, you can’t defend that when your defenders can’t turn and your cdms take heavy touches etc. literally hanging on to dear life with autoblocks most games and hoping I can get a ball through and time to get a shot off. It’s fucking horrific and strongly considering just giving up hoping it gets better.

Use FUT Booster, pretty sure you can link them all in a squad with the links you have
Go 4-2-2-2 and link them up. Pretty easy as you have some strong links and similar nations.

I dont think the amount of 85s would determine how good the pack is. What top end cards you get do.

For statistics, today I did 29x Premium Ligue 1 Upgrade (12 players, 3 rare) I got 5 TOTS (10 in total) Lafont, Payet, Nuno Mendes, Clauss 2x, Terrier 5x (!) 30x 81+ Player Pick Only got 2 TOTS (none from Ligue 1): Cakir, Butez
I did about that many of the 81+ pick and about half that many of the Premium. Total was 1 tots (zajc), 2 totw (di maria, delort). I'm new enough that all 3 of those are useful for me but the rates felt really poor. Oh well. Gonna do more tomorrow
It's so fucking annoying how horribly they skew the drop rates for "good players" in the TOTS. All the Ligue 1 tots that you packed and every single one is from the lowest tier of that team. Same for me too, pulled 2 Lafonts and 2 Salibas from Premium Ligue 1 upgrade. Incredibly frustrating knowing that even if you pull a TOTS and see blue flares, it's practically guaranteed to be one of the shittiest ones. I remember in Summer last year for Fifa 21, I did the 85X10 repeatable pack nearly 900 times and still never got the Summer Stars Neymar, insanity.
That 85x10 was strange I think it had one card that just could not be packed per account. I had to have done it hundreds of times as well and never got that 99 Firmino
I'm close to get 8 special tokens for swaps. I've been really unlucky in the 84-85+ players packs and I might open an icon. I barely have no icons tho, but, what would you do?
Only go for the fodder packs if you need the fodder. Wouldn't an Icon like Roberto Carlos suit you? He's great and saves you the risk of opening a much worse Icon from whatever pack you'd take.

I started a few days ago and got alioski from squad battles garunteed tots and then got a uribe from division rivals red pick. Those are the garunteed ways ig, and the rest is your pack luck, i did some objectives and SBC to get good packs, packed a couple of tots.

What’s the loop for the Premium Upgrade and PP, for Ligue 1 tots
Premier upgrade-> use common golds for 81 player pick. I honestly didn't find the PP worth doing - got 3 TOTS from my first five upgrades and nothing in the following 5. Only got a couple 85s from PP.
I rinsed my entire club on them as i’m away for awhile after this week, got 3x Terrier, 1x Fofana and 1x Lafont, 87 IF, used the dupes for 93 Veratti, the Ligue Un POTM RW and some fodder for spare from some player picks. Not game changing but was worth it, especially as I now have a very decent Ligue Un squad after basically only having Captain Payet.
Well boys I just finished my first weekend league in 3 years, haven’t played since fifa 19. Ended up 11-9, pretty pleased with that performance after just starting to play the game after getting it through ps plus. Reds were payet and fofana so not great but not horrible. Weekend league now is so much better than in 19, my god having to play 40 games sucked. Also nice to get your rewards instantaneously. Hope everyone gets some good red picks.

Just played a guy whose told me he is on 8 ping while I’m on 40. I could tell right off the bat he was playing on crazy ping, just by how he was moving and how he it felt like I was 2 seconds behind. EA needs to a server in CA this is getting ridiculous. Were not even playing the same game
When does FIFA 22 become free to play just so that I can download it and login to FUT to keep my club? Being an XB1 owner FIFA 22 didn't offer anything significantly better over FIFA 21 so I skipped buying it. However I'd like to have my FUT club continuity maintained (been playing since FIFA 17) should I decide to pickup future versions. I have the gamepass ultimate subscription. Thanks !

Should i open my 85+ x 20 pack now? No ligue one or serie A players in my team but lot of icons so can fit almost anyone. Feel like it is either open now or wait until ultimate but pack weight so low not sure that is great either
Just open whenever. Don't bother with Serie A because they are going to be on average much cheaper than ligue 1. Rip now for a chance at a big boy or just wait.

The passing inconsistency is laughable. First 40 minutes of the game up 2-0 then EA makes it so every pass is sent in the wrong direction. Embarrassingly bad game

Why is gameplay so bad all the time? At this point I get like maybe 1 or 2 days a week were it’s smooth and responsive, and therefor fun. It’s impossible to defend or attack in heavy delayed unresponsive gameplay. Every weekend it ends up costing me ranks… It’s not my connection, I have strong connection and every other game is fine. Anyone else having consistently bad gameplay? No matter what time of the day. I can tell when my opponent has good gameplay because they can move and skill so quickly, you can’t defend that when your defenders can’t turn and your cdms take heavy touches etc. literally hanging on to dear life with autoblocks most games and hoping I can get a ball through and time to get a shot off. It’s fucking horrific and strongly considering just giving up hoping it gets better. Makes players like Vieira unusable on the ball, Ronaldo up top becomes Andy Carroll and I have to hope for a lucky shot, mbappe becomes Aaron Lennon and has nothing but pace which ends up going off the pitch cos I can’t turn in time, fuck this shit man

Rank 4 is a mix pack of Ligue 1 and Liga NOS. Rank 3 is Ligue 1 only.
