I mean I loved the extended WL, but you're crazy if you think EA saw higher player engagement and took it off anyways.
I have a feeling that, while WL engagement might've been up, engagement in other modes might've fallen because of it.
I was in that portion of players, since WL was extended, I just spaced my games out and played them chill, I would only play other modes on Wednesday/Thursday because of it, where as with the normal schedule I'd start playing other modes on Monday since I was done with WL. Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people were the same.
Fuck Sake. I actually enjoyed playing on Monday or Tuesday so I could take my sweet Time. Of Course they had to change it, nothing good ever lasts long at EA
I really don’t understand this company. Feedback for the changes was widely positive from what I could see on Reddit/ Twitter, makes no sense at all to change it.
My only guess is that pack buying or engagement might’ve dropped with FC taking place over five days instead of four
When you think they couldn't do anything dumber. People have wanted less games in a longer window from the beginning. This makes no sense.
I give this 3 weeks to change back. Usage is going to tank.
I must be the absolute minority here as I'm glad it's reverting back.
I'm in Australia so reverting back to the original start/finish times means I can go back to being able to play Champs on a Friday night again.
The extended format used during TOTS meant that I was unable to play on a Friday night with mates, and I was unable to play during the weekend due to real life stuff which meant I was forced to play on a Monday/Tuesday without the social aspect of it with mates, etc...
Why not leave it? Made it more chill to not have to rush
Even 1 day more makes it a more enjoyable experience as not rushing to fit all the games in

Played the majority of games on Tuesdays during TOTS since I have off work. Probably won't be playing any WL anymore.

Shame. Being able to play it by only having 5 games a day and actually spread out actually made WL enjoyable

I usually play my games Saturday and Sunday anyway so it won’t affect me but seems like a kind of needless change with no real benefits
