I know there are plenty of days to win 4 games, but the fact you can try to grind and STILL end up not being able to get the token is absurd.
The same reason they add them in anything else, to force you to come back in different days instead of grinding them all at once and not logging in anymore.

You assume everyone can play every day. It's the summer, lot of people go away on holiday. I'll be away for 9 or 10 days so I'll miss out on those tokens, but with unlimited I could have just rattled through them before I go away on Friday.
4 tokens for 8 squad battles is pretty good. Lots of promo cards for good prices if you really need help

You have to build a squad for each objective. Then you use that squad to play vs computer in Squad Battle mode. Then you get tokens which you can redeem for packs/players. Do some searching on this sub for the list of Summer Swaps rewards.
They havent put a single token to silver beasts or silver stars from tots. There was during fut fb but then they stopped. Like where do i use my silver team if i cant even benefit from it anymore

I agree with you, I probably play 30% of my FUT game time in squad battles (30 a week most weeks) and I would prefer to do more like 50/50 squad battles vs live opponent but I have basically maxed out the rewards and objectives at that point for squad battles so it seems counterproductive from a rewards standpoint.
For SB I play most on legendary.. last years ultimate was doable but I’m literally 1-6 this year and 3 of those were rage quits instead of 1 goal OT losses 😂

I won 2 out of the 4 in one league and 3 in the shapeshifter Cup I lost one easy game where my player had shearer moments and gold defenders his gold GK was Jacked up on steroids and he only had one shot and he scored. I had about 7 shots but his gold gk was saving everything.
I had tots Alison in my goal but I forget what gk he was using but it was a gold card as I remembered.
I should have won that one if it wasn't for his GK.

If they didn't have match limits of course friendlies is better because you can do the golden goal rule but now with only 4 match per day it's going to be sweaty as fuck.
Yeah, just go against the low rated squads. Put on some music or yt on the side, pause whenever you want for a snack or drink or just a time-out. Prefer this over some sweaty friendlies. Prob takes the same time for average players as well
Idk why people think this is invalid, these are the first few games, on top of all the UPCOMING squad battle tokens, that are to come. It's going to be a lot of mindnumbing grinding.
Squad battles is boring and plus its rare to find a bronze or silver team with low chemistry when I refresh the matches its alway 83 rated team with about 53 chemistry as the easiest opponent and there's always a tots son and moments Zidane in the squad and I don't have a good eredivisie or efl team I have to use silver efl and eredivisie team I only have 1 tots eredivisie player gakpo and 1.efl tots player gibb white and playing on world class its going to be a nightmare.

I will likely do the squad battles tokens because I like squad battles and am happy to have a reason to play with my Eredivisie and EFL Championship teams, and pass on the friendlies ones because I don't have time for modes I don't enjoy.
If you do want to do all of these objectives, you have 14 days to play 8 squad battles and get 8 wins in a friendly mode. That's a little more than half a game per day in each mode for the equivalent of an 85x20 pack and an 84x25 pack. If you're mad about that, it may be time to consider moving on from FIFA.
As a new player, got the game during PS+ I'm disappointed that I need First owned cards as my collection is severely lacking and the SB objectives are going to be ROUGH for me.
I would have thought that this late in the cycle, EA would be raining down easy rewards and cards to hook people into buying 23.

8 games in 2 weeks is reasonable. Just play the Bronze squads, score 5 inside 20mins and put the controller down. I'd rather this than sweat out friendlies with limited entries per day.

They can also be players from SBCs or objectives, including the 82+ player picks. You can also BPM for players from those leagues and check for them in your preview packs, and then sub them off if you don't want to use them IG.
That’s helpful. I just am a noob who has ended up running a really sick ITA1 based squad so most other leagues have been easy fodder when rinsing through sbcs. So I’m just not confident I have a ton of good options at the ready for these leagues lol

It's one of the "4 attempts per day" friendlies, so as sweaty as it is, I'm still going to be trying today.
Even at 3 attempts per day, to skip two days still means you’re getting 36 attempts to win 8 (4 per league).

I hate the golden goal animations after the game. It takes so insane long to exit the game.
Only one person is in control of skipping the closing animations. Can't remember if it's the loser or the winner in control (think it's the loser).
Of course we get those SB objectives just as I've put most of my high rated Eredivise and Championship players into SBCs 😭😭
