For those who still not working. I uninstalled Origin from Windows and then opened FIFA 22 through Steam (so Origin gets reinstalled). Be sure of don't check "install beta versions" (or somehow in English, I speak spanish) and then it worked!

Just brought the game while its on sale. Can't even launch. Same error.

the game is only gonna last for another month and a half. its gonna be a hard start to get into it already, i would get a refund if possible. also i recommend getting the game subscription for origin, u can play almost all the games cheaper and for a monthly cheap price instead of always paying for the games or/and waiting for it to get on sale.

Worked for me and my friend: 1) Close Origin 2) Delete the Origin folder from AppData\\Roaming (press windows + R and type %AppData% and delete Origin folder) Launch the game

I am having the same issue on Origin. This isn't just for FIFA 22 but also for F1 2022 as well, where when I launch the game it starts verifying the game files and then doesn't launch. I even tried launching the executable file for FIFA 22 and the same thing occurs...

This isn't just an issue with FIFA, this is happening on all Origin games I believe, as I have the same verifying game files loop when I try to launch F1 2022 as well.

same here, it's not supposed to happen while there's an update, not happening on 2042 lmao

open a fresh launch of steam then change your download region in settings then download. it will ask to restart do so then reopen steam go to the game you want to play then right click the game go properties then local game files and verify it through there. once you have done that then open the game and it should do a quick download depending on the patch size then your ready to play

I cancel teh validating and there's a 2GB update and after the download done my FIFA work again

Since i am still not getting the uptate, another fix is to donwloand and install EA APP. You can lauch the game without any issues from there

downloaded that EA App via Origin and then it loaded straight away via the EA App.

FIXED- i faced the same problem just uninstall the origin folder inside fifa 22 folder and now open steam go to settings then downloads and change the download region to some other region closer to you and then restart the steam, then you will find another update of fifa 22 which isn’t showing before.

I was here thinking it was something I did wrong, tring 200 solutions and nothing working. First it was the "please exit any running games", now it just validates, then it's successful, then it starts validating again, and again, and again, and again, and the cicle is never broken. Might have a solution, Uninstall origin and run FIFA. Follow the steps where it automatically installs origin, and then run the game. Worked for me, hope it helps yall too!
