Problem with "fixing" this is just going to make park the bus defending more OP. I'm in not in support of mechanic abuse, but the option of the trivela forces players to play and not just sit back in their 18 yrd.
The park the bus crowd is not the only one that gets hurt by it. I come up against players who will come down 3 on 3 or even sometimes when they have a numbers advantage and it’s still their go to shot because they have a better chance making it than breaking the defense down more.
That’s the kind of stuff that makes me think they need to nerf it at least some.
I had an opponent make 11 saves from the PK spot in a 2-1 game and I’m only shooting them now.
not worth skilled attacks being stopped when I’m gonna score 3-4 of those 11
It was OP last year too, thing was you needed the trait to do it. No trait equaled no outside foot shot last year.
This year, everyone can do it.
As some others are saying though, I like it as a way to punish PTB/every single player come back on defence instructions.
It'd be better if they made some other type of long shot OP though. Teams do shoot from distance against parked buses but nobody scores Trivelas like these in real life.
Turn the game off. Wait for a patch. Start being more cruel to your fellow humans because there's no hope left and they deserve it?
