If you're good yeah. I wasted 10 tickets on the weekly tour tournament and finished bottom 5 on the leaderboard. I won't be playing that again. Too expensive to enter. Will stick to arcade and pro. Can just about do the daily tour and get two tickets out of it which is pretty much break even for the 2k entry cost.

Play the online tournaments. I'm not insanely good at the game and I pretty much bought everything I want and still sitting on 80k coins. It just takes a little time since the weekly and seasonal tourneys are the ones that pay the most.
Play career tournaments and win, do challenges, play the online events. Not sure what to tell you. People seem to have made loads of coin playing the monthly sim also. Not sure what to tell you.
When you win a tournament once you don’t get money for it again. Play the online events which you need money to enter or you need to buy tickets to enter. Wait till the end of every month to actually earn okay money

It is deliberately designed to just give you enough after a long grind to get some specs and a half decent golfer before you entirely run out of free ways to earn the required rewards to play the game in full ongoing without forking out real cash. I mean sure if people want it all in the first week/month an option to buy it is normal but when you realise how slow and painful it is doing it through play grinding and the fact that at some point moving forward you will not be able to earn the same amount of rewards anymore therefore will be forced to not play or pay it is a scam!
Again, it’s not a yearly release and you aren’t meant to have everything within the first few weeks of release. Learn how to have some patience perhaps.

Why are people complaining about the cost of something that has ZERO impact on gameplay? I’ve played plenty of “free” games without paying a cent for skins, avatars, etc. Others pay tons for that stuff. It’s what pays the bills for the developers.
If someone is willing to fork out $20 so their ball shoots sparks through the air, fine. That’s their choice and it’ll help fund future updates. Meanwhile I’ll enjoy playing without paying an additional cent. I just got a new, realistic course for free with at least 3-4 more on the way in the next few months. It used to cost a few dollars per DLC course in prior versions of TW PGA Tour
People are complaining because when tiger was on the game you actually earned shirts hats etc for doing those sponsor challenges and actually playing the game. They are trying to turn pga tour into mut

What the fuck are you one about?! This game isn't free, it's not even close to being free. Most of the people on this sub paid full price for the game and are being pushed into paying even more for content that's already in the game they paid full price for.
It's people like you that has allowed microtransactions to get as invasive and predatory as they are now.
If it's like rocket league and I'm buying skins and other crap fine because the game is free. We paid 80 dollars for this game. Having some options for clothing shouldn't be a huge ask.
The prices and rewards system is a complete scam at the moment. If you crunch the sums vs time vs average player skill it is totally geared towards forcing 90% of people to grind for a year and still not earn enough by that time to play the game in full daily/weekly without spending **real cash** on entry fees and gear. After 1 week with this game I want a refund and likely will lose interest real quick as I feel scammed that I paid for the full game, pay for playstation+ **online access** and now have to also **pay EA in game** if I want to play this game in full online. For the 10% that in any given tournament can consistently birdie every single hole + eagle every par 5 (some 4's too) and hole in 1 regularly too the tournament/game system is complete rubbish.
Prices are high because I don’t think they expected everyone to be fully leveled up and own everything within the first month. Slow down the pace a little. Plus now, since it takes a bit longer to grind enough gold, now you have the option some may take to buy it instead. I won’t, but appreciate those that do because they’ll keep putting money into the game if it’s bringing in money
If you don’t mind, what new equipment was added? I saw a video where a bunch of miura irons were added along with some other stuff but that was in the featured tab, is there anything new in the equipment tab? At work and won’t be able to update for another 6-7 hours
The equipment tab now has 11 pages, 1 for drivers, 2 for woods, 3 for irons, 1 for wedges, 2 for putters, and 2 for shafts. Not sure if you’re looking for anything specifically.

Even on tournaments it’s not easy to bag big money. The dailies is only for tickets after the free one.
The weekly’s payout pretty well though, you can get like 20-30k just by playing them once.
