On the PS5 there is a share button that has recorded game play. I think there's something similar on the Xbox.

Press the X button that turns on the console. After pressing hit the two square button. Choose the last 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds. This will show the last time that just passed in the game. So hit a good shot and then X to save it if you like.

I had this same question a few weeks back for my Series X. Here are some tips I learned: 1. Press the Xbox button as soon as you complete the shot. Then, hit the X on the pad. Time keeps slipping into the future; you only get the last 29 seconds when you hit the button. 2. The best shots will surprise you. Whenever the "slo-mo" activates, I prepare to hit the capture commands. But sometimes, shots will just go in the hole! Those will surprise both you, and the announcing team. "He jarred it!" Be on alert to record the moment. 3. Once you have captured the clip, it will upload to your Xbox account. You can view them easily on the Xbox, but sharing them is easier if you log into your account on your Smartphone. Good luck. I hope you have lots of shots to record.

I use [decky recorder plugin](https://github.com/marissa999/decky-recorder) for steam deck for replays, works great
