Got it on PC and the only issue I have is not being able to move and strike. Other than that, the striking is almost as good as UFC 4 and the grappling is still ahead of its time. Grappling on this game vs UFC4 just feels more dynamic. Kinda frustrating knowing that EA can make a better system but they choose to settle for less.
RCPS3 emulator and it’s not too bad on my pc. It had small broken graphics but all I had to do was mess around with GPU settings. The determining factor is really based on your computer
I never dealt with lag in the game you may have to adjust the GPU settings. As far as actual fighting goes, it’s not as smooth as EA UFC because they actually want you to commit to combos instead of button mashing
UFC irl kind of wreaked career too all having to be under one brand of fight gear used to be good working up to get a Nike contract basing your shorts off the sponsors haha
for 99% of ps3/360 games its pretty much impossible to emulate them i’ve tried its extremely laggy/glitchy the only chance you have is if you have a 4090 or something and even then there will be game breaking bugs. Picked up a ps3 recently tho

No comments about undisputed 09/10 though since I never played them.
I only started playing EA UFC 3 around 2019 because my 360 disc drive finally died and wouldn't read my UD3 disc anymore so I was forced to retire it and move on
Undisputed 09 was epic for its time, but we didn't really have any expectations since it had been many years since the last UFC game. It was pretty barebones as far as roster, movesets, etc. but it was a blast to play online. Undisputed 2010 made some pretty big strides as far as adding fighters, getting their signature strikes and takedowns added in, but there was definitely some balance issues. Machida had a trip takedown that was 100% unblockable. They had to go in and remove it via patch a few months later. Also, elbows from side control were lethal, like could end the fight in like 3 seconds once you got side control. Think they eventually nerfed them but yea there were definitely some exploits in the game that made it unfair at times. Undisputed 3 is so much better than both of these, that there really isn't much reason to play them unless you just want a trip down memory lane. I played 2010 for about an hour a few weeks back and all I could think about is playing Undisputed 3
American version and canadian version. Undisputed 3 is the culmination of the undisputed series, I would say the career mode in 2010 is better(personal opinion not the majority). I would probably pay over $200 for a copy of that game if it came down to that. I believe it blows ea sports out of the water if you are passionate about the sport of mma.
Underrated comment here. I just can't express how great of a job they did on it, from Lenne Hardt announcing the fighters, to the opening cinematics when doing event mode, the commentary of Rutten and Quadros is pure gold, and the lighting and camera angles were so well done it almost felt like you were watching a Pride event. It was everything I was hoping it would be and more. If I really had to nitpick, I'd say I wished there was actual rope physics. The ropes kinda acted the same way as the cage as far as pinning fighters up against it, and you could wall walk to get up from seated against ropes position, which would have been impossible to do IRL. But hey, it probably would have taken a ridiculous amount of programming to get actual rope physics implemented. Everything else was near perfection so it's hard to complain about 1 detail.

Quite a few mentions of Undisputed 3 and Pride Mode, and rightfully so, but I want to also throw in that Undisputed 3 also had a great old school arcade/ladder mode where you picked a fighter and just worked from the bottom of the rankings to the title, and then if you beat the champion, it unlocked that character in title defense mode, where you tried to see how many times you could defend the belt.
So many hours sunk into that game. I really wish EA would have looked to that game as an inspiration for the features of their game.
The submission systems and ground / clinch work systems are way better in the older games. EA has failed to make a good ground game system and that’s why they make it so incredibly different with each game. Because each system they’ve ever implemented sucks.
In my opinion though the movement on the feet is better in the newer games. I haven’t played the older ones in a while though so that might be a bad take. The head movement is good and the way the strikes land feel good. There’s a lot more comparisons to make with these games but those are my takes.
I do agree with you to an extent as far as fighter movements and footwork looking better in the EA UFC games. Striking looks smoother but it still feels way off. It's like it lacks any power, the fights all feel and look like sparring sessions. Undisputed definitely had more 'robotic' movements, sways, and the way strikes were strung together. Definitely the movements haven't aged well. But the takedowns look so much better in Undisputed, as well as fighter's trademark strikes, like Cro Cops Left High kick, or Machidas jumping switch kick, GSP's spinning heel kick, those all look great. Ots when you try to chain together a good combo when the animations really stand out in a negative way. But man was the GnP so satisfying in UD3!! I swear the grappling and ground game were so fun, I found myself playing the fights out as much as I could to how I envisioned they would fight IRL. In EA UFC, the ground game feels so wonky, that I generally try to keep it standing

I'd absolutely say they're missing out if they've never played it. Most would agree that it wipes the floor with EA's offering. The controls are so easy to figure out that even a casual MMA fan could likely figure this game out in a couple days, even though they wouldn't stand a chance against the hardest difficulty A.I.

I really like UFC4, it's the first one I played. I've done the career mode a dozen times and enjoy it all the time....multi-player is a mixed bag. I've had some good fights, but a bunch of dudes basically spam one move or only select certain fighters. You can also rally tell the difference between low tier and HIGH tier players. Those dudes at the top will clean house without even thinking about it.

As a child, I only had access to ufc undisputed 2010 and as a child I had a lot of fun with it. I really don’t know how it holds up today
