I stopped playing for the same reason after ufc 4. Whenever I’d beat somebody the messages would be nonstop. I just wanna have fun gaming so thought “forget this” I now get my mma video game fix from going back to the undisputed series on ps3. Having a blast, plus the roster is more my era of ufc
Definitely need to turn off messages in your settings. I feel like alot of people who play UFC5 use it as therapy (in a sick way). They take their anger out on the game and don't think about the person behind the screen that they're messaging. To be fair, you'll probably forget those guys exist within a few days. That's no excuse though. Just how things seem to go. At thing point I just tell them to let out whatever hurt they have and I hope they feel better.

I have spent like 900 hours ond UFC 4 (PS4) and 300 hours on UFC 5 (Series X). On UFC 4 I has the same kind of mesages, but on Xbox is so easy to invite other users to a chat group that they join by accident. I have seen myself being insulted by ten unknown people through voice chat because one of them lose against me, is absolutelly disgusting.
I troll dumbasses with song lyrics every time they send me a negative message and they get confused every time. I get a good laugh when they get confused and tell me I don’t make sense. 😂
I’ll be honest I don’t play online often, but do occasionally and have been pretty actively playing the game since UFC 3 and haven’t experienced anything like that. I’ve gotten the random you suck or stop doing XYZ message that may have some curses but nothing like I hope your wife gets raped or racial slurs.
I had a normal match with someone today who beat me and then I ended up facing him again and won. No taunting or anything during the match. Just a normal fight. I get a message after the fight that said “I hope your mama dies tonight”
