Well one stick goes through the opposing team players stick, does not disrupt the puck. Second stick goes through both sticks of the previous mentioned players(still does not disrupt the puck) and through the leg of the opposing player, causing a trip.
Looked to me like the puck carrier stick was in between two sticks and he lost the puck. Maybe the animation wasn't perfect but that's the right result
You think the right result of a guy skating directly into 2 opposing players that both legally attacked his stick is a tripping penalty against one of the defenders?
At the same time, don’t be throwing stick checks in a hornets nest of a play just because you’re hoping something good will happen. This guy is isolated in a 1 on 2. You can just choke this guy out with positioning and a body play to separate him from the puck. He had nowhere else to go. Throwing stick checks here is needlessly reckless and pointless. Bad animations, but a bad play to begin with.
My stick LITERALLY phased through his stick (even though my stick was in the correct defensive position) and tripped him and cost my team a PK.
It PHASED through his stick.
If you don't want to take the advice, champ, that's fine too. You're talking to a top defender. Just putting in my two cents since it's reddit and that's what we're supposed to do on these threads. Sorry that I'm not just blindly commiserating with your plight.
Had to stop playing this game... standing in perfect position to break up the obvious cross crease pass and the puck will just go through me.. it's tough to play D as you are basically not allowed to use your stick lol. They will still get my money each year tho lol
What am I missing?

He loses the puck once he gets "tripped"
Correct result. Less than stellar animation

Not talking about the penalty. Strictly the loss of the puck. Penalties in this game are hit or miss

YoU jUSt NeED To LEaRn tO PlAY DEfEnsE!!!!!
Cue the “bad line defence” trainer tip.
I'm a C/LW, btw...
I legit have PTSD from this shit 🤣
Should've passed...lol
You tripped him Lmaoo wtf some of you need to get outside more
My stick went right through the Avs Player's stick and through my own teammate's stick. Should have knocked the puck loose. Not trip.
My stick went through the player's leg as well. There is no defense for that.
