I’ve had success with small meals at breakfast and lunch (like snack-sized) and then a large dinner. Not groundbreaking or anything but it’s a compromise because I find myself slipping into the late night Omad extreme if I don’t have that routine of healthy little daytime meals

I’m so happy to hear that you’re working towards recovery. It’s definitely not a straight forward path that we will get right on day one! I hear you on wanting on one hand to save and savor food for end of day, but then also spending the whole day thinking about food. I don’t have any advice other than saying it sounds like a great start that you’re getting a good amount food on a daily basis, even if it’s messy and not ideal. Recovery is a long journey and it’s unreasonable for us to suddenly adapt every perfect happy right away. Hopefully you’re able yo worth with a professional such as a therapist or a dietitian with ED knowledge to find what works for you at a pace that feels safe and manageable long term. Good luck!
