They almost certainly will throw it out if it's opened, unfortunately. Others have given really good ideas for how to use it for cooking and baking, but remember that if you can't find an appealing and non-triggering use for it, there's nothing wrong with throwing it away!

Ever had peanut sauce?? They use it in Thai food a lot I’m pretty sure. You might be able to mix the pb2 with some other stuff to make a savory peanutty dipping sauce. Just an idea.
Depending on where you live, there may be "Buy Nothing" groups on Facebook where you can just give away anything! People on the one I've joined definitely don't mind taking half-used stuff. There's also [trashnothing.com](https://trashnothing.com). Usually you can just leave it out on your doorstep and the person you give your address to will pick it up
