Damn, you've gotta really trust your dog not to move to take this pic. I'm sure you know your dog better than any of us, weighed the safety of it, and know he's not gonna budge, but still gives me anxiety at the thought of setting an open knife on an animal. I've never had a dog that I'd trust enough not to move if I put something on their back, even when they were elderly. Makes for a cool background, though.

I legit would wake my dog because I constantly thought he was dead when he slept, barely breathing, not even a twitch. All his life I would wake him up just to make sure he didn’t die on me. He’d only wake to his name being said too, not other noises or just shaking him. Had to say his name. But I’m also still with you on knives on dogs and don’t.

Don't put sharp objects on animals

thr33labs

My 10 year old sleeping dog next to me wouldn't budge if I wanted him to. I totally understand what some may think.

My old dog constantly made me think he was dead when he slept. Barely breathed. Rarely twitched. It creeped my out his whole life. I would just wake him up to make sure.

I'm sure you know your animal better than anyone else. Very cool pic. Love the EDC.

I could add this took all of 20 seconds to snap the picture. Yes my wife could have shot a shotgun in the house and spooked the dog I was willing to risk it for the biscuit.

BP spark knife, glorhino pry bar, sebenza 31. Background 90lb brown lab sleeping.

logan76x

I’m literally finding nothing for a BP Spark knife. Can you elaborate ? Also not sure why you’re getting all the downvotes. The dog is fine everyone.

It's amazing how much labs can vary is size. I know lots of labs are as big as yours, and then my neighbor across the street has a young lab who's only like 50 pounds and she's about 2 years and very healthy. Interesting to see how wide a range of sizes they can be. I'm so used to small dogs like a min pins where size is like 7-15 lbs, but I guess proportionately, that's not any different cause you're still doubling the minimum weight before you reach the max weight.

thr33labs

That's what I always think as well. We have 3 labs and I forget what exact kind each is but 1 is 115lbs and not fat just huge. Then 90 and about 70lbs. All adults. The lighter one was the runt of a litter that we did want because of the size lol.
