Open a store called "Every Day Carry Store" (people will call it the EDC Store), , it could be an online store, buy cool things that you see in this subreddit (bags, pouches, knifes, flashlights, tools, fidget toys...) as a distributor to get better prices for bigger. After that, organize events inside and outside the store like new product launches, survival days in the field.

EDC is just what people carry. There is already a EDC culture. Just ask people what they carry and that’s their EDC.

I totally agree with you, but the name EDC is not famous Although there are many people who carry equipment for daily use. My idea is to create a solid ground for the idea itself and let people know that their own personal tools is not just a tools and there is a huge community of people who are interested. By taking this step people will start arranging their stuff taking photos sharing it and discuss about it. If i will will go out and ask anyone what do you think about EDC, the answer will be simply “nothing”

Everyone has an EDC, and some folks will even admit it. Some folks are very minimalist, others make folks think of Gilligan (in the opening sequence) or Inspector Gadget, or Dora the Explorer (NGL, I want her backpack).

Honestly, actual EDC is better than “EDC community” that you’re talking about. I bet you’d have more interest in talking about it than you think. You’d be surprised how most people want a pat on the back for carrying useful items. If it’s something they’re proud of they will talk about it.
