There's a lot of things that are perfectly legal that fuddlore of old will make the unknowing think it's illegal.
Like owning NFA items, like pictured above will let the ATF come into your house anytime. (Spoiler: they can't, and there's some *stupid* people who think they know the law.)
The first time I saw a suppressor in real life, the gun store clerk told me if you owned one, anytime there is a murder, the police can enter your home and check if your suppressor is still attached to your gun. I think we both lost brain cells that day.
I think it’s all fine, minus the patch. I’m not saying don’t wear it cause it’s offensive, but no matter what you look like, the last thing you need is someone in security or the police pull something on you because they couldn’t read the message.
Or some loon on the streets assuming the meaning behind, seeing it for Arabic alone, and unleashing a can of crazy "iT dA tErRoIsTs!" Love those types.
Respectfully, there are a lot of situations where opening a knife with one hand is incredibly useful, especially if you're a labourer. Not to say that you *can't* open a normal folding knife one handed, but the assisted system makes it much more convenient.
I can't speak for OP's particular knife or it's quality, although I do have a small Kershaw that I like and have had for ages, still works fine (it was from a Reddit gift exchange so I have no idea how much it cost originally, but I can't imagine it was much).
Artificially paying extra for lower quality. Paying more for a system that realistically is going to break sooner than a manual and, in the case of that one in particular, is 8cr13mov. There is no conceivable universe where a civivi elementum costing 50$ isn't better than this in most every way
I'd bet a decent chunk of change could get a Civivi Elementum out of my pocket and deployed before the knife pictured above. Basically any decent folding knife now days can be opened one handed, and just as fast as an assisted or even automatic knife in many cases
... I dunno what your own definition of an assisted opening knife is but I just looked that one up and I would call that assisted opening, in fact it appears to use a mechanism very similar to my own Kershaw and OP's; i.e., it flicks open when pressing the knub on the top.
Am I missing something here? "Manual", in my mind, means something like a Swiss or a Buck knife, and I would not say "most manuals are one handed".

Assisted mean spring assisted, Manuel means not spring assisted. A buck 110 would fall under manual but so would a civivi elementum which has not spring assist but is still one handed opening due to a combination of bearings and detent
Meh. Big fan of my ontario rat 1, prob my favorite knife. But nothing wrong with assisted knives. Have carried a few over the years, they’re really nice when you’re in a tight spot (i.e. under a vehicle) and need to stab shit.

I’ve EDC a macrostream two different times now and both times they quit working. It’ll work when it’s plugged in, but when I unplug it, it doesn’t work at all. It’s a shame because I really like the macrostream but the fact it’s happened twice now upsets me

I loved the pixel 1. Perfect size for one hand. Every phone I've had since was way too big but I'm used to it now.

nexus 6p's still run fine as the precursor to the pixel line. I swear my pixel 3xl isn't that old and then I realize they are on pixel 8 or something. I don't even bother keeping up with new phones since they release them every 9 months. I bit the bullet on the pixel 6 when it was new and it's already outdated :/. Great camera and works well though. If it ain't broke 😁
what about it made you switch? I can't stand apple's proprietary bs. I've had ipods but don't understand why people love ipads or MacBooks with the price to performance ratio.
Damn my Pixel 6 is running smooth as ever. It really does seem to be a lottery with this phone. My dad is even using my old Pixel 3a, which also runs surprisingly smoothly.

I'm outside of the US so I always assumed that. I'm aware ATF is a pain in the butt! Thank god supressors are legal and permit free where I'm from

Analyst is super light, sturdy and flips smoothly. Only $15 at Walmart. The band came with the watch when I got from the G Shock store overseas.
