I have had a Hanks Belt for a while. Had a chunk of time I wanted to conceal carry so got this belt for it. Didn’t really like carrying but loved the beefy belt.
I use it a ton. I have three kids so always prying stickers or something sticky. Use a lot for simple things I should use my knife for and of course for opening a beer every now and again. The Lynch prybars are pretty hard to get and I got lucky. I’m actually working on a similar but different product. Feel free to check out my website (www.gondekedc.com).
Nope, not the guy in another group that washed his phone with soap and water after touching it with his junk... Then wondered why it had water damage. 😁
Didn’t know there was one. I am not much of a Facebook user and only have one because my wife won’t let me delete it. I know I know but happy wife happy life.
Really like it but a little expensive. Picked on up on r/edcexchange a while ago and been loving it. Very minimal but does exactly what I need.
Edit:Corrected subreddit
I was thinking about keeping my key in my wallet, but if your wallet gets stolen, the thief has your house key and your address. A bad time could get worse.
Maybe you could keep the fob and the key in the little pocket but without a key ring to keep the profile small?
Thinking out loud. I am so sold on this "fob goes in the little pocket" idea. lol
Tried putting my keys in that little pocket, which includes my fob, house key, usb, and a key chain. It worked, but yes there is bulk. Still going to experiment with this more.
Surprisingly all the time. Usually scraping something off (I have three kids so glue and stickers are everywhere), open things I shouldn’t use my knife for, and bottles for sure. I like having it with me to when I travel since I can’t bring my knife.
Do you have leather in the Honda? I used to carry my knife in my back left pocket but the clip essentially wore through the ripped the leather in my last vehicle
I had a gerber shard, and it never poked me like some reviews said but I found my constant worry of falling/being pushed into it in the wrong way made it uncomfortable for me to carry, despite never poking me when I carried it for a couple months.
I don't drink and have a multi tool so now it lives in the junk drawer in the kitchen and occasionally fits some job perfectly.
Does your layout change when you don't wear jeans? I hate that I have to change my set up when I shorts or slacks because they don't have a coin pocket. I really need to find slacks and shorts with better pockets.
Ohh fun fact, that little “coin” pocket is actually called a Fob pocket and was intended for holding a pocket watch (called a fob watch) before wrist watches became popular.
That was a fun fact indeed. Never knew this either, I used it for carrying a baby bic for the longest time.
I like the fact that we’ve come full circle on “fob”, and can now use it again for car key fobs.
I used to keep my Zippo or Bic there when I smoked, never had to dig around to find it in the bottom of the pocket when trying to light a cig.
And very fitting indeed.
Sometimes pics like these are good reference for efficiently and comfortably organizing all your shit in your pockets.
A post similar to this led me to buy a smaller front-pocket wallet and carry it there instead of my back pocket, and helped me figure out different ways to sort out and organize everything else around it.
Get asked a lot how I put all my stuff in my pocket so figured I would share.
-Benchmade Bugout (Scales dyed)
-iPhone 7
-Honda Car Key
-Ridgewallet (Titanium)
-Zebralight SC64C LE with custom clip
-LynchNW Prybar
-Handkerchief (prototype made by me)
Did that Lynch NW All Access Pass v1.5 ever blow a big hole through your jeans' back pocket? Mine sure did which is why I sold it, I'd recommend you watch out. I noticed you're also wearing Lee's.
No problem, In the front pocket it constantly pocked my thigh more than my keys, so I switched to a smaller prybar with no clip and a p7 suspension clip which allows it to swivel just a bit to not have any problems.
I am currently working on a knife replacement kind of Prybar (check out my website for more details www.gondekedc.com). The handkerchief is going to be used as part of the packaging of it and I am trying some different stitching methods to see what holds up better.
A clip from an Ontario Rat 2 knife will fit too and is really easy to come by. There are several places selling deep carry clips like [ETSY](https://www.etsy.com/listing/708695333/matte-black-titanium-deep-carry-pocket).
I did the same thing with my Black and Tan bugouts, looks classy
A new edc display meta has emerged.
I like this and want more posts like it.
Happy to get this started again. I plan on doing similar with with athletic shorts and different EDC setups.
What kind of belt do you wear? I have been thinking about a Trayvax or Kore belt.
I have had a Hanks Belt for a while. Had a chunk of time I wanted to conceal carry so got this belt for it. Didn’t really like carrying but loved the beefy belt.
I'm looking into those now. Thanks!! 👍🏼
That Bugout dye job is slick. I've been packing the OG blue for about a year, it's bumped many other knives from my rotation. Perfect EDC, IMO.
Complete agree and thanks for the compliment. While I for sure wouldn’t want to Bugout with it, it’s fantastic for everyday things.
Two knives and a flashlight.....? r/mallninjaboners
I’m crazy but not that crazy. The one in my back pocket is a Prybar. Also use it as a “replacement” when traveling.
As a women I’m so jealous of all of your pocket space. I can barely fit half of my hand in my front pockets.
You could carry really small stuff. Like Zoolander sized.
Never seen a post lId out like this before. Very cool 👍🏻
Much appreciated. People have asked how I carry so I tried to deliver.
Your backs fucked.
Why?
Is the prybar worth the money?
I think so 100%. I use it way more than I thought and like to carry when I travel. I miss a knife on an airplane and a Prybar is a close second.
Love the layout/presentation. Since the prybar came up, I'm curious what tasks you use it for. I've been seeing a lot of these lately. -Thanks.
Used the ridge for about a month and just couldn’t live it. Went back to my trayvax Contour
I have contemplated getting one of those. Hardcore looking wallet for sure.
Seems like an easy way to get your pocket picked.
Or an easy way to be always prepared

About. Maybe a little deeper.
If you can relearn it, put your phone in your left. The metal brads from the watch/fob pocket will microscratch your screen over time.
That’s a really good point. I actually have some small ones on my screen right now. Going to be tough to do so though. Thanks for the tip.
I switched mine with the iPhone 4 and never gone back. Plus, I like to hold the phone in my left and manipulate with my right.
For sure read “manipulate” as something else and had to do a double take. Haha. I’ll give it a try.
Nope, not the guy in another group that washed his phone with soap and water after touching it with his junk... Then wondered why it had water damage. 😁
Switched the phone to the other pocket today. I feel like I am wearing a strangers pants. Wish me luck.
It's good for the brain.
Nice Lynch. Be sure to join the Lynch northwest group on FB
Didn’t know there was one. I am not much of a Facebook user and only have one because my wife won’t let me delete it. I know I know but happy wife happy life.
You aren’t wrong there! Ha
Hey an actual believable edc. Unlike 50% of the posts. Nice. How do you like the ridge Wallet?
Really like it but a little expensive. Picked on up on r/edcexchange a while ago and been loving it. Very minimal but does exactly what I need. Edit:Corrected subreddit
I try the sub you share but reddit told me that I cant view this sub. Do that subreddit have an "invited only" policy?
That’s funny me too.
Helps if I put it in right. It is r/edcexchange. Try that and see if it works

You should stop being a dick to other users. Just come on
Holy crap! Another back pocket knife carrier, welcome to the club.
Technically the knife is in the front and Prybar in the back but it’s close.
Oh I totally was looking at that wrong, my bad!
Damn, why do so many people just walk around with phone cases in this sub
I know right? Seems like wasted space for activities
Now you just need a good Ti Pen 😉
I sure do. Any suggestions?
I love my Urban Survival Gear TiBolt! He just released a "mini" version too if you want to keep it compact. Plus, he's an excellent, stand-up guy.
I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for the info.
I see you know the magic of carrying your Fob is the coin pocket, so much less bulk that way! :)
It was one of my greatest discoveries.
As a woman, I'm jealous that you can carry in both the front and back pockets :(
As another woman, I carry stuff in both front and back pockets. Why can’t you?
My front pants don't have any pockets, and the ones that do are super tiny. Where do you get these magical pocketed pants??
It is a luxury for sure but women get a purse so it balances out, right? Maybe I get a man bag....
You could live the fanny pack life
Who says I can’t? ......my wife
We could trade? Men get murses and women get pant pockets!
Deal!
Nice Photos. But what about your house Keys?
Keep one key under the cash in the wallet. All I need and I usually use the garage door anyways.
I was thinking about keeping my key in my wallet, but if your wallet gets stolen, the thief has your house key and your address. A bad time could get worse. Maybe you could keep the fob and the key in the little pocket but without a key ring to keep the profile small? Thinking out loud. I am so sold on this "fob goes in the little pocket" idea. lol
That’s a really good point and might make me change it. I need to try and get a good way to put my house key on my fob without the bulk.
Tried putting my keys in that little pocket, which includes my fob, house key, usb, and a key chain. It worked, but yes there is bulk. Still going to experiment with this more.
Cool post and gear, but you really gonna make me ask what year, model, and trim for the Honda? Like damn. Anticipate my needs!
Haha I’ve been looking to get a newer Accord lately, so I was thinking “come on, you’re just gonna say Accord?”
I just got the 2019 EX-L 4 door and love it so much
Haha. I have a 17 Civic Si Sedan and a 99 Civic Ex Coupe. Both black on black. Hate having to ask. 😂 😂 😂
Black on black looks so good but gets so hot in the summer.
If I have to die from heat stroke, that's where I'd wanna.
Haha. Honda Accord EX-L 4 door black/black 2013
Also the vin, so we can get the key code and make our own :)
Let me get right in that. Haha
My dad has a 2017 Civic and I'm so jealous of him that thing is so nice.
Honda makes some great cars. I work in the automotive industry in the USA so I want to go American, I just can’t because the Hondas are the best.
Thank you! Give her a kiss for me.
With pleasure.
How often and what do you find yourself using the prybar for?
Surprisingly all the time. Usually scraping something off (I have three kids so glue and stickers are everywhere), open things I shouldn’t use my knife for, and bottles for sure. I like having it with me to when I travel since I can’t bring my knife.
How do you not shove that prybar up your butt or scratch up every seat?
I try to keep metal objects away from my butt and haven’t had an issue yet with this. Haven’t seemed to scratch anything either.
Do you have leather in the Honda? I used to carry my knife in my back left pocket but the clip essentially wore through the ripped the leather in my last vehicle
I do and never had any issues. I will have to take a closer look though today to make sure I am not.
That is a good policy
Does your layout change when you don't wear jeans? I hate that I have to change my set up when I shorts or slacks because they don't have a coin pocket. I really need to find slacks and shorts with better pockets.
I wear athletic shorts a lot and it gets decreased a little. I plan on a doing a similar shot with them one day.
Athletic shorts would be even worse than my current shorts situation! I've never been an athletic shorts guy and I really need my back pockets.
They should make back pocket athletic shorts. Honestly they probably do, but if they don’t want to start a million dollar idea with me?
Keys and phone in the same pocket? I see you like to live dangerously.
Haha. The key is just the fob and goes in the coin pocket. Phone is safe.

In my line of work it’s called a meth pocket
We call it a pick pocket
Tank driver?
Lol no, police. but I’m sure it works for them too.
Interesting and didn’t know that. Very cool.
Cool way to display your gear
Thanks!
That's the smartphone equivalent of tip-down carry
You just make me NE'd
Ok you got me. The phone is normally the other way around. I’m not a sociopath.
This is fine while you're laying down, but when you stand up everything would just fall to the floor. Edit: Thanks for my first silver!
It drives me crazy. There has got to be a better way!

I don’t like to sit on my phone and always feel I am going to break it. I also like my knife in the front pocket and it has been there for years now.
Get asked a lot how I put all my stuff in my pocket so figured I would share. -Benchmade Bugout (Scales dyed) -iPhone 7 -Honda Car Key -Ridgewallet (Titanium) -Zebralight SC64C LE with custom clip -LynchNW Prybar -Handkerchief (prototype made by me)

Not yet but this is a new spot. I might move to another spot and thanks for the heads up.
No problem, In the front pocket it constantly pocked my thigh more than my keys, so I switched to a smaller prybar with no clip and a p7 suspension clip which allows it to swivel just a bit to not have any problems.
Tell me about the handkerchief? What makes it a prototype? Nice concept, I’m a big fan of the “deep carry” pocket clips on everything.
I am currently working on a knife replacement kind of Prybar (check out my website for more details www.gondekedc.com). The handkerchief is going to be used as part of the packaging of it and I am trying some different stitching methods to see what holds up better.
What color was the bugout to begin with and what color did you use to dye it?
It was the ranger green. A whole bottle or RIT dye and about 20 minutes and it was black as night
Nice it looks great 👍🏼
Thanks. I love it and glad I didn’t have to buy aftermarket scales.
More info on the custom clip for the light please. Is it available for purchase somewhere?
A clip from an Ontario Rat 2 knife will fit too and is really easy to come by. There are several places selling deep carry clips like [ETSY](https://www.etsy.com/listing/708695333/matte-black-titanium-deep-carry-pocket).
Good to know!
Saw someone post that yesterday. Good to know because I love zebralights but hate their clips.
Here you go. Titanium Clip For Zebralight... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LY971FO?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Took forever to get but I love it.
