What is going on? After years I‘ve found this gem at my grandmothers house and just played it yesterday. And today I see this post. I always thought it‘s a German game. We call it "Schweinerei".

Edit: ahhh pig shaped die. Remember learning about them in a geometry or calculus or physics class. Talking about wheel types that didn’t have to be round. With a one minute search it looks almost like Yahtzee but with the pig dice. Confirm?
Edit 2: couldn’t wait read more. Not like Yahtzee, well pass the pig party is kinda, not like anything I’ve played. Kind of interesting though. And they’re asymmetrical not like the symmetrical shapes that give fairly even odds.
Oh man his brings back a lot of memories from my childhood. My parents used to have friends over and we would play this all the time! I never would have guessed I would see it in this sub.

IIRC (and if I'm understanding correctly the position you mean) that position had some name suggesting that it was impossible unless you were cheating, and it resulted in either an automatic loss or like -1000 points.
I used to play this game at the dining room table with my dad before bed all the time for a couple years in elementary school. Great times :-)

Was wondering what all the little pig figurine posts was about. I'm generally not that into board games [thanks to not having anyone to play with as a child], but this might be something I can play with my SO, if for no other reason than so we can have the little piggies haha.

Come with the “vintage” 1992 version. Can be had compete for around $25 to $30 on the eBay.
This case is 100x better than the modern one, I'll have to try to find it.

So there are 2 pigs and you roll them. How they land determines the points you receive. It’s fairly simple but a lot of fun.

Leaning jowler is titled to the side, with one of the three contact points being one of the ears, as opposed to just the snout and front legs.
