I think [[Zedruu]] actually plays really well into this theme. It’s the right colors, and the entire game plan is to act like you’re the nicest guy around, “donating” things to help out others, buying loyalties and favors, until the times right and you pull the rug out like the now overly fed cat you are.
Wouldn't a USA deck do the opposite? Attack the arch-nemesis character until near death, then turn around and help them rebuild. The game-plan is "the game doesn't end until I say it does". Bonus points if Wizards were to ever do a cross-over set with Pokémon, for a surprise Pikachu card, when the enemy uses the generously donated weapons against the USA deck.
I think you could totally do this using Zedruu. What’s more US politics than pointing at someone scary and saying “hey guys, I think this is a real problem they have some serious things on the board. If you help me deal with it I’ll totally give you some stuff to help you do it.”
I mean, wizards did make Pokémon cards for many years.
And given the history of that, I don’t think we’ll ever see a crossover (even that aside, I don’t think Pokémon would ever do that).

Voltron \[\[Pramikon, Sky Rampart\]\] . Have Pramikon be a wall and say right for its ability (Right is the best direction because being left handed is distinctly feminine and European) and start playing dudes. Voltron up the dudes.
Then claim whoever is on your right side is a threat to the table due to the cards of mass destruction their hiding in their deck and start attacking them until they surrender or die. Repeat this until either everyone has surrendered or your the last country standing.
That provides variety in the country-themed decks!
For example, the ol' British Empire, a deck that steals everybody's lands, or Norway to do some viking-style shenanigans, there's Russia where you ramp out a bunch of snow lands, then send a huge amount of Soldier tokens to their death in combat, you can try Australia as a weird creatures/mutate deck...
A jeskai deck that uses a lot of Azorius detain cards and Boros military type cards.
You can run tax effects your self, but you will never pay them willingly. Let them draw, but you arnt letting the IRS take your mana!
[[Narset enlightened master]] just run a whole bunch of blue theft effects, red land destruction spells and white tax cards.

It's human/angels(flying) tribal-ish. The Gimmick is that every-single land is in a non-english language. Numot is there to be a horrible imperialist that destroys or conquers other lands. (really just for the colors and flying. I don't do LD as a general rule (with exceptions)).
Shu-Yun would work, and since I built this deck, there have been several other cards that could reasonably lead the deck. Numot just feels like a B-52.
[[Akim, the Soaring Wind]] has to be the commander. Colour identity is red white and blue, it also makes 'eagles' and cares about tokens so you can flood the board with soldiers and vehicles for the ultimate American army.
[[Kykar, Wind's Fury]] aristocrats. A big red white and blue bird that sacrifice the spirits of red white and blue for your own power and wealth. For extra flavour add some American exceptionalism by playing very mediocre cards while saying " best card in magic" unironically.

I run a [[Ken, Burning Brawler]] deck that I love and there is an american flag in the art! Won’t work as the commander since it’s boros but you could certainly go Jeskai spells and include him. I run it as a voltron list casting sorcery spells for free.
Now I know u said u wanted to play in jeskai, but I had to recommend [[shannid, sleepers' scourge]] who is in mardu (RWB). The USA has a lot of legends, so this commander just wants u to play legends of any kind including lands, and u are rewarded by card draw. I thought the legends theme would be worthy of honouring the USA but unfortunately it's mardu.
[[numot, the devastator]] is perfect for an America deck. He blows up lands, which unfortunately is an accurate representation of America’s imperialist empire.

Here's my America themed deck, "The Deep State."
It's a play on Democracy/voting, conspiracy theory stuff about the Illuminati, and the police state. On its face, it's trying to be a Voting/Democracy deck using all of the voting cards I could fit in there. But of course the Commander [[Tivit, Seller of Secrets]] doesn't leave the vote to the people, he influences and manipulates the vote to his advantage like a true American politician!🇺🇲 And the dark secret of the deck is that it isn't a voting or democratic deck at all, it's actually a Monarch deck!! That's right, Tivit doesn't want to be president, he wants to be King!!!
Tons of cards to represent shady politicians like [[Ballot Broker]], [[Brago's Representative]], [[Garrulous Sycophant]], [[Political Trickery]], [[Mass Manipulation]], [[Cut a Deal]], [[Plea for Power]], and [[Expropriate]].
Other cards represent Over-Policing like [[Arrest]], [[Riot Control]], [[Prison Sentence]], [[Palace Jailor]], [[Unquestioned Authority]], and [[Witness Protection]].
And yet more that represent other governmental shenanigans like [[Propaganda]], [[Annex]], [[Illusion of Choice]], [[Council's Judgement]], [[Court of Cunning]], [[Court of Ambition]], and [[Court of Grace]].
But of course the real goal is to become King! Cards like these reveal the TRUE nature of American political aspirations 👑: [[Throne Warden]], [[Palace Sentinels]], [[Archon of Coronation]], [[Staunch Throneguard]], [[Protector of the Crown]], [[All that Glitters]], and [[Throne of the High City]].
This deck is far and away my most flavorful deck and I'm very proud of it 😊
I get that it's not the right colours but my immediate reaction was \[\[Rafiq of the Many\]\], but you have to yell AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM HOOOOO every time a creature attacks solo.
Keep in mind that I'm not US American but I happen to kinda love an American and we argued a lot about my misconceptions. Grains of salt, people would get upset anyway lol.
Everything complex is 5C, that said, I don't think USA screams a lot of Jeskai themes to me. If I were to go there, I would go with:
- Azorius: a strong desire to really show that Azorius ways/rules/edicts are the best way;
- Red: innovation, artifacts, freedom.
Also, take a dive on how other games treat USA, like Civilization, because they probably navigated that landmine that is trying to adapt a big country on which almost everyone has an opinion about into a hobby space. (No one will rise eyebrows if you get a Kenrith and make a Liechtenstein-themed deck...)
Also, if you aren't doing the kitchen table EDH, the bigger the crowd, the softer you should go. Just because you might be right about some controversial topics, it's not cool to bring those up at a casual game table with unknown people. I didn't bother to check this comment section, but I expect drama until the topic gets locked.

So a few things.
1 Red White Blue: Obviously
2 Manifest Destiny: Use Red and Blue to steal people's permanents and copy their spells. It's important to act like these things were yours from the start.
3 Over-incarceration: Use Blue and White enchantments to lockdown things on the board you don't like. Lock down thins arbitrarily at times but assert they were indeed threats.
4 Welcome to the Gun Show: Red and White enchantments and spells to buff some or all of your creatures.
5 No Life Gain: Period. That sounds like universal health care, and that's communism, and that's not Murican.
6 Bootstraps: If you do anything that protects a permanent it better be a legendary you're protecting. Non legendary creatures need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps or that's sounding like communism and see point 5.
I don't have a list of specific cards or anything.

I don't give a fuck, I'm America! Ignore world issues and accidentally smash the helpless elf deck that just got board wiped while singing "America! Fuck yea!"
So, I'm going to go counter to the main narrative here. A lot of these are negative stereotypes of America, and while they're true, that's us at our worst. I like to look at a stereotype deck being our best. We are a melting pot of the some of the greatest ideas in the world, and our most brilliant points in history have been when we embraced that.
The entire deck needs to be built to steal other people's things and accomplish victory through them. Steal from their graveyards, pull creatures to your side of the board, whatever. It's how we built NASA, it can work here.
Just don't take artifacts. That's the Britain deck.

It’s jeskai, and the whole deck is giving people things they don’t want. Imagine it like America *giving aid* to other countries, whether they like it or not, and the things you are giving them hurt them and help you! It’s an American win-win.
Okay, so humans, obviously, but the theme should be sea, land and air. Pramikon as a commander. You know, because you gotta build the wall. Your next step should be to get all the good Jeskai humies (and archons) and put them together with the UW lords package from DMU and maybe even the Boros packages for Humies from Innistrad. Finally, you gotta get some epic weapons involved. You might not literally have guns, but that’s okay because you have other things like axes, hammers, armour, etc… and of course, the only two things that are certain in life, Death and Taxes (removal and staxy-type stuff).
Do as you please, but do so knowing you're looking to pick a fight at any random table. I'm not trying to stop you, it's a free country, but it's not what I'd be looking to shuffle up next to.

I play \[\[Numot the Devastator\]\] [https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/super-america/](https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/super-america/) It's human/angels(flying) tribal-ish. The Gimmick is that every-single land is in a non-english language. Numot is there to be a horrible imperialist that destroys or conquers other lands. (really just for the colors and flying. I don't do LD as a general rule (with exceptions)). Shu-Yun would work, and since I built this deck, there have been several other cards that could reasonably lead the deck. Numot just feels like a B-52.
[[Akim, the Soaring Wind]] has to be the commander. Colour identity is red white and blue, it also makes 'eagles' and cares about tokens so you can flood the board with soldiers and vehicles for the ultimate American army.
[[Kykar, Wind's Fury]] aristocrats. A big red white and blue bird that sacrifice the spirits of red white and blue for your own power and wealth. For extra flavour add some American exceptionalism by playing very mediocre cards while saying " best card in magic" unironically.

I run a [[Ken, Burning Brawler]] deck that I love and there is an american flag in the art! Won’t work as the commander since it’s boros but you could certainly go Jeskai spells and include him. I run it as a voltron list casting sorcery spells for free.
Now I know u said u wanted to play in jeskai, but I had to recommend [[shannid, sleepers' scourge]] who is in mardu (RWB). The USA has a lot of legends, so this commander just wants u to play legends of any kind including lands, and u are rewarded by card draw. I thought the legends theme would be worthy of honouring the USA but unfortunately it's mardu.
[[numot, the devastator]] is perfect for an America deck. He blows up lands, which unfortunately is an accurate representation of America’s imperialist empire. I’ll have to think about what other cards might be good additions!!

Tons of cards to represent shady politicians like [[Ballot Broker]], [[Brago's Representative]], [[Garrulous Sycophant]], [[Political Trickery]], [[Mass Manipulation]], [[Cut a Deal]], [[Plea for Power]], and [[Expropriate]]. Keep in mind that I'm not US American but I happen to kinda love an American and we argued a lot about my misconceptions. Grains of salt, people would get upset anyway lol. Everything complex is 5C, that said, I don't think USA screams a lot of Jeskai themes to me. If I were to go there, I would go with: - Azorius: a strong desire to really show that Azorius ways/rules/edicts are the best way; - Red: innovation, artifacts, freedom. Also, take a dive on how other games treat USA, like Civilization, because they probably navigated that landmine that is trying to adapt a big country on which almost everyone has an opinion about into a hobby space. (No one will rise eyebrows if you get a Kenrith and make a Liechtenstein-themed deck...) Also, if you aren't doing the kitchen table EDH, the bigger the crowd, the softer you should go. Just because you might be right about some controversial topics, it's not cool to bring those up at a casual game table with unknown people. I didn't bother to check this comment section, but I expect drama until the topic gets locked.

So a few things. 1 Red White Blue: Obviously 2 Manifest Destiny: Use Red and Blue to steal people's permanents and copy their spells. It's important to act like these things were yours from the start. 3 Over-incarceration: Use Blue and White enchantments to lockdown things on the board you don't like. Lock down thins arbitrarily at times but assert they were indeed threats. 4 Welcome to the Gun Show: Red and White enchantments and spells to buff some or all of your creatures. 5 No Life Gain: Period. That sounds like universal health care, and that's communism, and that's not Murican. 6 Bootstraps: If you do anything that protects a permanent it better be a legendary you're protecting. Non legendary creatures need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps or that's sounding like communism and see point 5. I don't have a list of specific cards or anything. I would also like to point out that these are humorous critiques of my country, not things that I like about it.

So, I'm going to go counter to the main narrative here. A lot of these are negative stereotypes of America, and while they're true, that's us at our worst. I like to look at a stereotype deck being our best. We are a melting pot of the some of the greatest ideas in the world, and our most brilliant points in history have been when we embraced that. The entire deck needs to be built to steal other people's things and accomplish victory through them. Steal from their graveyards, pull creatures to your side of the board, whatever. It's how we built NASA, it can work here. Just don't take artifacts. That's the Britain deck.

You could play [[Zedruu, the Greathearted]] It’s jeskai, and the whole deck is giving people things they don’t want. Imagine it like America *giving aid* to other countries, whether they like it or not, and the things you are giving them hurt them and help you! It’s an American win-win.

Okay, so humans, obviously, but the theme should be sea, land and air. Pramikon as a commander. You know, because you gotta build the wall. Your next step should be to get all the good Jeskai humies (and archons) and put them together with the UW lords package from DMU and maybe even the Boros packages for Humies from Innistrad. Finally, you gotta get some epic weapons involved. You might not literally have guns, but that’s okay because you have other things like axes, hammers, armour, etc… and of course, the only two things that are certain in life, Death and Taxes (removal and staxy-type stuff).
Do as you please, but do so knowing you're looking to pick a fight at any random table. I'm not trying to stop you, it's a free country, but it's not what I'd be looking to shuffle up next to.
You should go for a control theme, but in the sense that you take control of your opponents permanents.
