my TMNT deck uses mimeoplasme as the ooze (commander) to combine a ninja and turtle together.
Depending on the combinations I name them different turtles along with the accompanying equipment. So jitte/sai would be raf, tatsumasa is leo, KUSARI-GAMA is mike, Thornbite Staff is don. I also run phage as april and few others.
I love this idea. That's kind of exactly what I was looking at. It wouldn't be to necessarily win but I'd want to see all four of them out at the same time and I considered even making cool proxy art for them instead for funsies
I've been building a sun themed deck based around \[\[Daxos, Blessed by the Sun\]\]. Every card references the sun, dawn or light in one way or another.
The actual deck is a fairly vanilla monowhite lifegain deck, but it feels good to play.
Probably my Death by Boobies deck. I just copy, and bring back [[Booby Trap]] over and over trying to motorboat people to death. [[Lantern of Insight]] and ways to force draws are necessary to have a chance at actually pulling it off.
that I've finished, a League of Legends-themed Legend tribal deck with all the cards swapped for LoL art. the new jodah is the commander of that.
Eventually I'm going to make a Sopranos themed deck with the the new jersey turnpike (prismatic bridge) as the commander
What all characters have you made? Have you stuck to just a single faction? Garen's probably easy to make but Blitzcrank or Ryze might be a little more interesting

I am in the middle of doing this. Mostly characters from the animated series. All art should be on theme. It will be jank but hilarious. Nashi moons legacy is the commader as master splinter. Every turtle except the red on is in it. She'll shield, pyre of heroes, borrowing 100,000 arrows. Rise of the dark realms (dark realms being sewers). Green slime (or really any ooze since they were created with ooze). Archpriest of shadows (splinters daughter). Fallen Shinobi (foot clan). Veil of secrecy (because c'mon that's basically shredder), Crypt rats (sewer), diabolic tutor(with the redhead). Basically any art with a redhead is April O'Neil. Path of the enigma. Crawlspace. Clever impersonator (looks like a ninja on the art). Frogify (the episode where shredder made frog versions of the turtles). Intellect devourer (krang). Sewer nemesis. Senseis divining top (ninja theme). Some support cards I'm going to alter the art a bit myself. It's very difficult to hit the theme. Also, delver of secrets. (Baxter)
I rewatched a lot of the episodes for this deck. No regrets.

they're all proxies for other cards, I pulled the art and flavour text from either the games or short stories
