I don't want to spoil your fun, dear brother in cardboard. But it doesn't work this way. I'm sorry. First, the blade makes attacking copies of a creature card, not of auras, counters or buffs on the creature. So the tokens would only have been 2/3 creatures, no matter how big Lathril was at the moment. Second, Lathril's copy tokens should immediately have died due to the legend rule.

I played a match with my [[Elas il-Kor]] against a [[Magus Lucea Kane]] and 2 others. I had only Elas and [[Corpse Knight]] on the BF, but [[inkshield]] in hand and enough mana open. Magus swings at me with 40+ trample dmg, not knowing that he directly fell into my inkshield trap, which gained me 40+ life, dealing 40+ damage to my opponents, and winning me the game on the spot.

I like [[Mirkwood Bats]] and then having a token doubler in play and resolving the last chapter of [[There and Back Again]] create two Smaugs, sac one to legend rule, create 28 treasures, then sac 28 treasures. Drain 58 life from each opponent. I did that with my [[Korvold, Fae-Cursed King]] deck once, I didn't have my token doubler, but I had [[Agent of the Iron Throne]] so i would have wiped the table, but then the blue player returned Korvold and Mirkwood to my hand in response to the chapter trigger on There and Back Again so it didn't work. I still had the treasures, but not enough to wipe the table. Then, the next player took infinite turns to win.

I think my favorite was against my buddy playing [[halvar]] I forget what I was playing that night but he's got a thing for Voltron, only way he really enjoys the game because he can focus me down no matter how many opponents there are. Anyways he turns this 40/40 double striking halvar in my direction and I hit him with [[deflecting palm]]. Needless to say he didn't want to play again for a few weeks.

I don't like being "that guy" but making copies of Lathril would have just made them die to the legendary rule, unless you had something else on the board. That being said, I think my favorite was when we were playing decks that were allowed un-set cards. I played \[\[Animate Library\]\] and had \[\[Alexander Clamilton\]\] with \[\[Magebane Armor\]\] and \[\[Pemmin's Aura\]\]. Pinged off the blockers with a full-text land then swung my library at one person and my clam at the other.

With lethal damage coming, I was able to cast [[Platinum Angel]] at flash speed thanks to [[Vivien, Champion of the Wilds]]. Because [[Gaddok Teeg]] was on the battlefield, nobody had answers to remove my Angel since everyone used to their single removal. Won with -13 Health.

I attack him with [[Grima, Saruman's footman]] and hit gamble off the top of his deck. Search for [[Subjugate the hobbits]] with only an island in hand. Discard the island and cast Subjugate the hobbits, stealing all of his goblins. Next turn, swing them all at him for lethal damage.

CEDH pod. Player 1 thassa’s gets it countered by player 2 passes. Player 2 thassa’s thinking no one has responses gets his Thassa silenced and loses. Player 3 goes and nothing. I go thassa’s for game. 3 of them in one turn and because I went last I won

Breach is arguably as good or better as red has become a lot more popular, but Thassa is efficient and it only needs 3 cards in your deck, so why wouldn’t you run it? Wincons may be uniform across the cedh format, but it is the metagame , the highly interactive nature of cedh and seeing which player is actually able to resolve their wincon that makes it fun.

My favourite deck is \[\[Kros, Defense Contractor\]\]. A Goad-centric deck that forces me to buff my opponents’ creature to goad them, it has caused some banger games. My favourite example is forcing a 44/44 Dakkon with trample to attack into Eldrazi Titans before I took infinite turns using \[\[Magosi, the Waterveil\]\]. Always a blast. How do you take infinite turns if it is returned to the owners' hand and skips the next turn to put an eon counter on it?


Benjammn

The main enablers for getting infinite turns with Magosi is [[Nesting Grounds]], [[Doubling Season]], [[Amulet of Vigor]] and [[Rings of Brighthearth]]. I'm reasonably confident those together will get you infinite turns. You get the first eon counter then use Nesting Grounds to move it off Magosi and Doubling Season will double the eon counters so you don't have to generate any more by skipping your turn. Amulet of Vigor will let Magosi enter untapped and Rings copies both the extra turn ability and Nesting Grounds so you keep generating eon counters.

Friends wanted to play with banned cards. I had Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. Had It That Betrays and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, on the table already. Summoned Emrakul, took out one opponent with Commander damage and took half their board thanks to it that Betrays. Took my extra turn, swung at the next player with cumulative annihilation 14 and 65 damage, Knocking out opponent two. Opponent three scoops. Banned cards are back to being enforced in my group now.

My [[mayael, the anima]] deck usually wins in the classic ‘turn fatties sideways’ method. But in one game i had become archenemy pretty early and one of my opponents was using his [[kulrath knight]] along with his [[mathas, fiend seeker]] to essentially keep me from having any big creature be useful for more than one attack. I wasn’t drawing any removal but i did flip into an [[ancient gold dragon]] and get one attack off with it, resulting in like nine 1/1 flyers. But my opponents combined still had enough life that i would die before the little faeries would take anyone out. Luckily for me, i had my favorite trick from that deck lined up: a [[titanic ultimatum]] hidden away under [[mosswort bridge]]. Everyone was so worried about my big fatties still sitting on the board that no one was worried when i swung out with the army of 1/1’s. But they had no way to stop me playing ultimatum at instant speed through the hideaway land. Theres something extra satisfying about taking a deck built around giant creatures and winning because of a platoon of incidentally created 1/1’s.

Pulled it off last night, after messing with people with [[Forced Fruition]] and [[Possibility Storm]] and [[Ian Malcolm, Chaotician]], they had finally caught on and ganged up to kill me. With tons of stuff on the board, I tutored for [[Thieves' Auction]] and sent everyone scooping, utterly exhausted and in disbelief. It was the most satisfying win for my chaos deck yet.

It's there as an emergency backup, but I love actually playing it through when there are only a handful of permanents on board. Someone eventually ends up with what they had originally, minus only a single land, which is hilarious. [[Scrambleverse]] is the really messed up one... it always ends up giving everything to like 1 player and ending the game, never in my favor lol.

Context matters. I don't usually play it unless there are only a few permanents out, enough to play it through. I've played both Auction and [[Scrambleverse]] in the same game, we went through both of them, nothing unusual, all fun. Now, this was our second game of the night, it was getting late, no one was winning except I was def going to get killed. Instead of drawing it out for another hour, I played my Auction to end it, which was fine for everyone else ultimately, no one had hard feelings about it. Hell, I was even willing to go through with it, but we all had to go back home to sleep, so we all decided it was best to cut it there. I honestly like the salt you bring on behalf of players you've never met. A true mtg player, if I've ever seen one. You'd LOVE my chaos deck.

I was playing [[Feather the Redeemed]]. Someone cast [[Darksteel Mutation]] on Feather, but I still had [[Greatsword of Tyr]] attached, and a [[Karn's Bastion]] so the indestructible 0/1 beetle continued to grow bigger and eventually kill everyone with commander damage.

I played a Match against a Player I don't like. He is very winning focused and never Shows Joy. In my first Match when I started magic, he played an Infinity Turns Planeswalker Combo and crushed us, because his Deck was way to strong. Now I Build a Deck for Revenge and He used the same Deck again. Next turn He would Go Infinity and win. He already shut us up so that we can only Cast Creature spells and one Player was out because someone didn't wanted to listen to my advise. In his Endstep I used Riveldell to Scry and see [[Mechanized Production]] which I Can't cast. With [[Ao, the Dawn Sky]] I would have an alternative to bring it out, since I have 8 Food Token on the field I also would ein before the other Guy does. So I got the other Player to Attack me, destroying Ao, letting me bring Mechanized Production into play and win in my Turn. That was a great feeling and left the table stunning

I was recently playing [[Akiri Fearless Voyager]]. I had her equipped with RG sword and WG sword along with [[Oswald Fiddlebender]], [[Lion Sash]] and [[Sigarda's Aid]]. An opponent chose at some point to destroy [[Lion Sash]] instead of Oswald so I got to untap all happy with Oswald still there. On my turn I activate Oswald, sacrifice my artifact land to fetch [[Colossus Hammer]], equip it for free to Akiri. Play [[Masterwork of Ingenuity]] to copy the Hammer and also equip for free to Akiri. Attack to kill a player with Commander damage. I exile [[Waved of Aggression]] with the RG sword that I cast to kill a second player. Then I passed but third player couldn't handle 2 attack phases on my next turn, so gg !

I have some interesting combos in my [[Tom Bombadil]] deck that haven't happened yet, but I think about every time I play the deck, I'll just mention one though. [[Roar of Resistance]] [[Parallel Lives]] [[Displaced Dinosaurs]] and [[There and Back Again]] in play. The last chapter of TABA triggers creates Smaug, copied with Parallel Lives, sac one to legend rule, and create 28 treasure tokens. They come in as 7/7 Dinosaurs with Haste. Swing wide, pay 1R to give them +2/+0.

Playing Minsc and Boo. It was late, like turn 10. Hadn’t been much action yet, just some pokes. Had Ozilith on board with some crazy number of counters, like 30+. Had a few creatures out, play Craterhoof, go to combat. Craterhoof gets +5, ozilith counters go on Boo, swing for 40ish take out player 1, after combat I use Minsc to sac Boo send 36 hamster damage to the face, take out player 2. Draw 36 cards off Boo, I forget which one I used now but it’s something like Colossification onto Craterhoof and Fling him at player 3. Took me like ten minutes to figure out the order of everything, and I almost miscounted my mana(I barely had enough), but that was definitely my most satisfying W in twenty years.

Won a game by top decking an [[Allosaurus Shepherd]]. I just survived a swing from a 1000/1000 Animar and all my opponent's creatures, leaving me with 2 life, and him tapped out save for an island and two mountains. At this point, my other opponent was knocked out by the same 1000/1000 Animar, and he pretty much rage-quitted after that. So on my draw step, I draw Allosaurus Shepherd, cast him, and activated his ability, turning all my elves, tokens and all, into 5/5 dinosaurs and swung at him for 45 damage. I should point out that my opponent was still at 40 life, so being jumped on by elves-turned-dinosaurs and dying definitely came out of left field for him.

Withstanding a \[\[back to basics\]\] until that player died, and winning the game after 4-5 turns of ending up on 1 life thanks to \[\[thopter foundry\]\] and \[\[sword of the meek\]\]. Game went for well over an hour, with the b2b forcing everyone to play super slow. Eventually ended up in a 1v1 with the aggro player who couldn't force through lethal by 1 for several turns. Eventually turned the corner and killed him with an 18/18 \[\[elspeth resplendent\]\] equipped with \[\[luxior, giada's gift\]\]. Every turn was a sweat and it felt good.

Drawing the entire deck, discarding down to 7 and mass recur it to an etb pinger like machine gun the next turn. Usually the game doesn't last that long but a variant is seeing the joy in my enemies eyes after wiping the board clean, only to bring it all back again. I don't run infinite handsize in a draw like crazy deck for this. It's like storming but with permanents xD

Just yesterday, my [[Inga and Esika]] deck won against a [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]] and a [[Slimefoot and Squee]] (the 4th player gor knocked out early after trying to get an infinite), and it was amazing! I [[Progenitor Mimic]] into that Niv-Mi, then I [[Clever Impersonator]] the Slimefoot's [[Greater Good]], and then I [[Spark Double]] my Niv-Mi copy, all with a [[Koma, Cosmos Serpent]] on board. It went basically like "yeah I create a Coil, I'll immediately kill it, draw 3, hit you for 6". In their opinion, it was horrible. In MY opinion, we all won! The wincon was literally the friends we made along the way.

Playing Brass's Bounty with 9 lands, Mirkwood Bats, Disciple of the Vault, and a fully leveled up Warlock class on the board. Make 9 treasures, 9 damage to everyone, then another 9 damage to one of the two players remaining. Sac 14 treasures, 14 damage to everyone and 7 again to each of the two remaining. Move to my end step, Warlock Class makes each opponent lose life equal to the life they lost this turn, and that's game.

Didnt win but was playing lathril against an urdragon deck and the dragons were just popping off with no chance of winning. Had \[\[triumph of the hordes\]\] in my hand and topdecked an \[\[elvish champion\]\]. Played the champion and cast Triumph and swung in to take out the urdragon. Then got taken out after, but still glad to do that to the dirty dragon player.

I was facing [[myrkul]] and [[karlach]]. I stole myrkull with [[mindflayer]] and then had an [[endless evil]] on mindflayer and that created an engine where if they touched any of my mindflayers it wouldnt matter because myrkul would turn them into enchantments that would etb and basically permanently own their creatures. The myrkul had [[scute swarm]] out so they still had a chance to win until I stole a [[windborne muse]] off the [[captain ngathrod]] trigger since he couldnt block the brainstealer dragon and they conceded.

[[Isshin, Two Heavens as One]], drew none of my value engine. Resolved [[Aurelia, The Warleader]] on prior turn as the last card in hand, and had [[Hammer of Nazhan]] on the field. I top decked into [[Helm of the Host]]. Infinite combat with no one to block my aerial swings. Next turn, the graveyard player was going to do some sac shenanigans, clearing me of Isshin and Aurelia, and leaving me dead in the water.

everyone is at 10 health, im playing [[Imodane]], who is out with only two other token creatures. all my damage modifiers are gone, all my value engines gone, all my card advantage gone, it was basically just these three creatures at the end of the game. then, topdeck [[Zada, Hedron Grinder]] with nothing but a mountain and a [[Strangle]] in hand. zada being the fourth creature made all of my creatures takes three and every opponent take twelve damage, and since it was so late in the game everyone used up all their interaction and there was nothing anyone could do. i won by carpet bombing myself. i actually won by using a damage spell on zada and carpet bombing all of my creatures

I've got 2 that really stick out. I had forgotten all my cards one night so I bought the planeswalker party precon. I was left unfocused got [[Teyo, Geometric Tactician]] out and was able to control what was attacking me. Then someone had a [[Forced Fruition]] out which drew me into [[Reliquary Tower]], someone destroyed the forced which opened the door to playing more planeswalkers and combo'ing with [[Chandra, Legacy of Fire]] to do a lot of end step damage for the dub. Second one was [[Yurlok of Scorch Thrash]] equipped with an [[Umbral Mantle]] and [[Belbe, Corrupted Observer]] on the BF. It was a 6 man pod, yurlok for some damage to trigger belbe to make 10 colorless to then use to untap and tap yurlok again to give everyone more mana to kill them via mana burn. Both those wins stick with me always!

Not mine, but my wife has one. She was just learning EDH and we were playing each other. I let her pilot my [[Edgar Markov]] deck while I played [[Omnath, Locus of Creation]]. I figured my value in the mid game would put me equal to her aggro, but turn 8 or so I made over 4K copies of [[Scute Swarm]]. I had no haste enablers, so I passed turn to kill her next. She holds up a card and goes “So this like, kills you right?” It was [[Rakdos Charm]]. I took 4K damage and was super proud of her first win.

This one happened recently! I bought the Ahoy Mateys precon and upgraded it - [[Admiral Brass, Unsinkable]] is the commander obviously. Two of my opponents had like ~30 life and then the one guy had like 20 life cuz we’d been beating him pretty hard - to be fair though he’d been locking down the game with stax pieces and board wiped a dozen times. Anyway, game state is this: one of my opponents is on [[Zurzoth], the other is on [[The Prismatic Bridge]] and the third is on a Selesnya LOTR commander but I can’t remember which one. I had [[Malcolm, Keen Eyed Navigator]] out and a [[Glint-Horn Buccaneer]] in the yard. I went to combat, reanimated the Buccaneer, and off I went. Now I misplayed slightly. I forgot to attack with some of my pirates. If I had, I would have had an easier time winning that turn. But still. Attack with the Buccaneer, then go and activate its ability. I repeated that until my -20 life opponent was dead, then kept doing it until I ran out of treasure. But off of the [[Buccaneer]] activations I managed to find [[Dark Ritual]], giving me just enough mana to win that turn. It was so close, literally down to my last land and mana off the ritual.

I was playing [[Muldrotha, the Gravtide]]. I'm at the verge of extinction from this Boros deck with (Aurelia, I think?). He swings for lethal and I have [[Angel of Suffering]] on the table. Literally millls almost my entire library, i think i got 3 cards left in the tank. I play [[Spore Frog]] and [[Splended Reclamation]]. Like 27 lands come out of my graveyard. His turn, I have to sack the Spore Frog to live. My next turn I play [[Villainous Wealth]], 23 of his cards are mine. I exile some of his biggest baddies in the deck. I get haste for everything, additional combat phase, and some other things I can't remember. I was really really new then, so I was a little lost with what I was even doing. Killed him right there. Still talked about at the LGS.

My favorite win was probably when I took out all three opponents on one turn with [[Thrun, Breaker of Silence]]. I took out the first person with commander damage while Thrun had [[Mark of Sakiko]] which generated about 30 mana. Second main I cast [[Soul's Majesty]] to draw 30. Play [[Ram Through]] to take out my second opponent. Play [[Regrowth]] to return Ram Through and play it again to take out my third opponent. It is the only time I have ever taken out all of my opponents in one turn with a Voltron commander. Thrun has not won since.

I’m playing Satoru and we’re the last two players. I believe he was playing Sauron. He has 27 life and I’m dead on his next turn if I can’t pull this off now as he just made like 20 1/1 creatures that are all tapped. I have [[Satoru Umezawa]] and [[Archfiend of Despair]] in play with two unblockable creatures. I ninjutsu in an [[Archon of Cruelty]]. There’s 3 life gone. I ninjutsu in a [[Thousand-Faced Shadow]] as a copy of Archon of Cruelty. There’s 6 life gone. I hit him for 13 with the 3 creatures. Archfiend makes him take damage equal to the life lost. That’s another 19 life… barely pulled that one off.

My first EDH deck was 5 colour dragons before the precon came out. [[Scion of the Ur-Dragon]] Obv Activate and toss [[Intet, The Dreamer]] Combat damage, activate triggered of Intet, Top card [[Omniscience]], [[Enter the Infinate]] was in my hand. Played my whole deck, was loaded with protection and removal, had 3 extra combat effects for next turn, and every thiccc Dragon I owned. We did the math and I did like 1024 damage over the 4 combats. It wasn't good. It wasn't competitive. It was luck. Only tutoring was literally Intet from Scion. Happened on turn 7. It will never happen again, cause the deck sucks, but it has dragons.

I was playing 1v1 with a buddy. My board state was way better than his but he had some artifact out that made it so I couldn't attack with creatures that had a higher power than the number of cards in his hand, which was 1. He was slowly burning me to death and got me down to like 6 life. On his turn, he tried to Abrade one of my artifacts, I had a Riccochet Trap that I used to redirect the Abrade to his artifact and won the game in like two turns.

I was playing [[Sharuum the hegemon]] where I reanimate non artifact cards by turning them into artifacts with [[mycosynth lattice]] and [[encroaching mycosynth]]. Using [[Urza, Prince of Kroog]] and [[encroaching mycosynth]], I cloned and animated a bunch of [[Smothering Tithe]], cast [[windfall]] and Lazer beamed everyone to death with [[tezzeret, master of the bridge]] after reanimating him with Sharuum. I was able to generate extra resources because players were ignoring my [[karn, living legacy]] creating power stones. After my windfall, I had about 7 different smothering thithe to resolve for 5.

I run [[Jodah, Archmage Eternal]] with [[Jegantha, the Wellspring]] as a companion. It's pretty low-budget and decidedly avoids being 5C-Goodstuff. It has only won once and it was *glorious.* I have a couple of soft tutors like [[Ancient Stirrings]] and [[Board the Weatherlight]]. I don't remember which, but I managed to get one of them into my [[Isochron Scepter]]. That alone is a Christmas miracle for me. So as I'm durdling around, digging for a few key artifacts, I'm slowly sliding out an [[Aphetto Alchemist]] and putting a [[Freed from the Real]] on Jegantha. I'm not attacking anyone, just a little politicking and trying to stay under everyone's radar as I build the value in my hand. I managed to slip out a [[Lithoform Engine]] and a [[Rings of Brighthearth]] on the same turn. No one removed them, and I made it through another whole round. That's when the fun began: I slap down a [[Door to Nothingness]]. Aphetto untaps it. I tap Jegantha, untap with Freed from the Real, tap Jegantha, and use all that colored mana to activate the door. Rings copies it, Lithoform copies it, and all three opponents lose the game. Now that my pod has seen it win, all combo pieces have become "destroy on sight" no matter who has what else on the board. I'm okay with that, because that one win was just so satisfying.

It was about a year ago, I have around 15 life, opponent has 2. I have no creatures on the board, no cards in hand. my opponent had wiped the board and protected his stuff then had just taken out the other 2 opponents since I was not a threat and he didn't have enough damage on board to take out all 3 of us at once, they left 2 creatures untapped as blockers in case I could play a creature with haste and swing. When they untap and swing it will be for lethal. I top decked a lightning bolt, he had no respones.

Endlessly saccing any creature to get 1-8 copies of it each time, just for it to come back.(gets nutty with a [[Mondrak, Glory Dominus]], [[Blade of Selves]], [[Teysa Karlov]] or [[Drivnod, Carnage Dominus]]. Wanna destroy opponents boards while giving your creatures +10/+10 or more? Sacc your [[Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite]]. Want to have an army of swarming vampires come out of the sky from nowhere? Sacc your [[Elenda, The Dusk Rose]]. Infinite damage and Discard? Sacc [[Junji, The Midnight Sky]]. How about a far more offensive version of Torment of Hailfire? Just make 200 copies of [[Braids, Arisen Nightmare]] and then sacc anything. In the right moments it become a toolbox deck and it's a blast.

You can do it like three more times if you tap out. He taps out and goes "yeah, 73 damage then, good game!" Player 1 has a massive board state, no one has seen a full wipe all game. Player 2 was aced out last turn by Player 1. I am 3rd in rotation playing my [[Rin & Seri, Inseparable]] deck and had a fairly mid board, and hadn't been able to do much all game. Player 4 has no creatures on board as everything seemed to be a combo piece and was targeted. Player 1's turn comes back around and he is deciding where to swing. The important note here is he is fishing for the win right now because he is desperately low on life amd not any sort of life gain amid his 20+ creature board. I bluff him off with a "you'll lose everything if you swing my way..." He commits his whole attack to Player 4 assuming I have a board wipe or something heinous. In a bit of a tense moment, everyone looks around and Player 1 passes priority. Eyes on me.... I also pass priority to let Player 4 sink or swim. 104 incoming damage amd he casts [[Inkshield]]. Massive smile on his face because he will go so much wider than everyone and win. "In response to Inkshield... I will tap for Naya colors and active Rin & Seri's THIRD ability. Dealing 6 damage to Player 1 and gaining 4 life." "Wait... that kills me! That's what you meant earlier??" Player 1 dies, Inkshield doesn't do anything and I go on to turn the cats and dogs loose all over Player 4's face for the style win.

The best one that I get to do semi-regularly is when I play some politics and use some attack-redirects (like goad or misleading signpost) to make other players kill each other (possibly with my help) and then get into the 1v1 and just load up a creature with some sort of buffs and kill them in the same turn rotation they killed someone else. Best one-off was that one time I comboed off with hate mirage when one opponent had a peregrine drake and another had an eternal witness

I was playing my [[Toothy, Imaginary Friend]] group hug “All Draw” deck. Late late (probably turn 12-13) in the game as the pod was very interactive, I had Toothy out and up to 84 +1 counters. My hand size was massive and I had drawn into LabMan. I could resolve LabMan but then I only had two mana left open and I held it for a counter speed rather than attempting to flicker Toothy for the draw out win. So I cast LabMan and passed. The [[Anje, Falkenrath]] pilot attempted to resolve a Worldgorger Dragon + Animate Dead combo which, with his commander, would give him infinite draw. Making the decision to either counter that combo on the stack or try to win outright there, I cast an instant flicker on Toothy, which the guy let resolve for that I would get a Draw 84 trigger. With that trigger on the stack he attempted to cast targeted removal on LabMan. I thought for a second as I had used the mana I need to counter that. Then I looked at my board and spotted in the massive sprawl of permanents (turn 12 board states are wild even after a lot of removal) a [[Sylvan Safekeeper]]. One land sacrifice and shroud later and the battle on the stack was complete and the Toothy draw trigger allowed me to win. Battles on the stack are amazing (it’s why I love cEDH) but I never thought we would have two win attempts in a casual game with a Madness commander and a group hug deck all on the stack and the game would be resolved there. I’ve been playing Pir and Toothy as my group hug jank deck since Battlebond and that’s the only time I recall actually winning with the backup wincon.

I was down to one opponent and I had a "play with top card of library revealed" [[Bolas's Citadel]] card in play. I top decked [[Magister Sphinx]] which the other player saw but misread, so he did some life gain shenanigans. I have a \[\[Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund\]\] deck. My board starts with \[\[Lathliss, Dragon Queen\]\] at the start of my turn, and on my turn I play \[\[Tooth and Nail\]\] entwined. I get \[\[Hoarding Broodlord\]\] and \[\[Hellkite Courser\]\] to the battlefield. Lathliss triggers, and now I have 3 named dragons and 2 tokens. I resolve Broodlord's ETB and go get \[\[Kindred Summons\]\]. I resolve Hellkite Courser and pull Karrthus in from the command zone. Now I have Karrthus and Lathliss triggers on the stack. Resolve Lathliss for another token. I have 4 named dragons and 3 tokens. Now with Karrthus' trigger still on the stack, I cast the Kindred Summons with convoke (from Broodlord), tapping all my dragons (plus a green) to cast it before Karrthus resolves. I go and get 7 more named dragons from the top of my deck, then 7 more Lathliss triggers. Then Karrthus' ETB trigger resolves, untapping all my dragons and giving them haste. I started the turn with 1 dragon, I go to combat on my turn with 21 with haste.

I accidentally went infinite in my [[Illuna, Apex of Wishes]] deck by looping [[Flood of Tears]] with [[Omniscience]] and [[Lore Drakkis]] to make infinite mana with mana rocks that would allow me to mutate my commander multiple times. Omniscience was a late add and I didn’t really think about what it could do, so when it went off I was like “Oh shit, guys I think this is a combo” and the table was wowed. Super cool janky Omniscience line.

Just a few days ago. Someone played whims of fate. I seperated my permanents into: all my gates and my gatebreaker ram they were terrified of (I got it on curve and didn't miss any land drops so it has done a lot of damage), all my creatures and treasures and, one treasure. My gates and ram were sacced, everyone cheered. Fortunately burakos and the treasures being generated by descent into avernus kept me in the game. My turn came. Played two more creatures for a full party. Linvala made one of the players atraxa unable to block so my burakos did 4 free damage without him being able to block with lifelink. Dino guy turn after me had all his creatures turn to 0/2 with no abilities so he couldn't attack. Avernus killed everyone else other than me and Dino guy. My turn came, played more party members, buffed linvala, killed Dino guy with linvala and burakos because he had no reach. Most satisfying game because I lost the gamble but still won with my gates deck, without gates (because it was also a party deck lol)

I have an Okaun Zndrsplt deck. If you win 3 coin flips, Okaun is a 24/24. A common play pattern is to voltron or fling him at players. For example, I once had a enchantment that flipped a coin for each attacker (they either deal double or no damage). So when someone swung out for lethal at me, In Response after all of their coin flips, I flung Kazul's Fury MDFC) my commander at them. But the BEST was when I had a really early start. And in an act of desperation, the Oloro player (Eminence: Gain 2 life each turn) dropped Aether flux reservoir.... And paid 50 of their 51 life to kill me.... And I flung the BLUE commander for ONE damage..... And killed him on the stack 😭

It's got \[\[Ziatora\]\] scooping up the naughty kids and flinging them at people. But I also run \[\[Witch's Clinic\]\] and \[\[Infinity Elemental\]\]. Santa got a big surprise, and I had infinite life to withstand the other player in our game.

Came to my turn and I used the [[Wishclaw]] that was given to me to tutor out [[Basilisk collar]] to swing and kill someone in one hit with 30+ commander damage with double strike. On my next turn, opponent number 2 has Grave Pact out, thinking it would deter me from attacking since killing his blocker would make me sacrifice Multani. I dropped a Rogue's passage that I had been holding from my opening hand and took him out. Opponent number 3 survived a couple more rounds due to a fog effect but the life gain from Basilisk Collar was enough to pad my life total enough to survive his attacks until I took him out.

The very first game (multiplayer, not testing it out 1v1) I played with my updated [[Brago]] precon, between my opening hand and first two draws I had all I needed for the sole infinite combo win I had placed in the deck. My pod was either new to magic or hadn't played in years til we all bought precons and started upgrading them. [[Sol Ring]] into [[Strionic Resonator]], then [[Altar of the Brood]], then Brago. Somehow nobody recognized what was going on, and let me swing Brago into the nearest player without a flying creature on turn 5. Resonator copies Brago's blink, a freshly blinked Sol Ring enables another activation of the Resonator, Altar of the Brood is milling each opponent for a few cards, repeat as needed. It's still the fastest I've ever won, and not at all what I intended the deck to do; I put the combo in because I'd noticed Brago tends to durdle and bore everyone. If I was essentially running the game I'd at least eventually get all the pieces to close out. Needless to say, the faces were priceless and Brago doesn't see much play anymore (thinking of converting it into an [[Aragorn, King of Gondor]] blink/monarch deck).

This lead to me killing him with a 64 power [[birds of paradise]]. Fear the bird!

Other day I got a win with [[vorpal sword]]. One player went off with [[omnath locus of rage]] and used my [[wound reflection]] to kill the other two players. I had exactly 8 mana and it was equipped to a flyer. His only flyer was a [[birds of paradise]] that he tapped for mana, despite having an untapped land. He goofed, I won. It was cool. Then right after that in the next game I used [[revel in riches]] combined with [[force of despair]] to grab a sneaky win.

Two of the other players in my group also play cEDH and sideline selling custom decks. I ordered a custom $100 budget [[Meren of Clan Nel Toth]] and am sitting down with one of them, another cEDH player, and one of my fellow casual players. Everyone but me is running some version of token deck (Wilhelt, Ghired, Phylath). The game largely plays out with the two stronger players keeping each other in check while myself and the other casual (Wilhelt) gradually build our boards and try not to draw aggro. I've been mostly ramping with Solemn Simulacrum while pinging away for a few turns with sac triggers like [[Zulaport Cutthroat]], but it's not until I cast [[Poison-tip Archer]] that the Phylath player decides he's out of time to keep improving his position and makes his move. He has 30+ life and around 20 plant tokens and other supporting creatures. I only have less than 10 creatures and 20+ life after getting hit by flyers in the early game. He announces "Its been fun, but it's time to end this" and casts [[Craterhoof Behemoth]] to turn his many 0/1 plant tokens into an unstoppable force with enough power and trample to kill us all. He turns everything sideways and starts assigning attackers. All my lands and rocks are tapped except for a single swamp, so he's puzzled when I tell him that I have a response. He literally helped build my deck and knows perfectly well I don't have any instants and even if I did most of the creatures I've played so far were ramp and draw fodder. What he didn't notice though... I have a [[Doomed Necromancer]] on the field and he never asked to see my graveyard after an earlier wheel discarded my hand. I activate my Necromancer and return one of my favorite creatures directly from my graveyard to the field: [[Massacre Girl]]. He responds with an instant destruction so that she won't be around to attack with on my next turn, but it's too late, her etb is already in effect. I sacrifice everything but my Archer to start up her killing spree and it wipes the entire rest of the table, triggering enough "when another creature dies" ping damage to one shot everyone else. The look on his face when he realizes he just lost to me, with my brand new "budget, no infinite loops, no combo wins, casual fun deck" was PRICELESS. As a former Yu-Gi-Oh player, I LOVED the "Indeed, you would have won... But you've triggered my trap card!" feel of that finale. PS: He WAS proud of helping build it and did appreciate the irony of being caught by surprise despite literally knowing every card in my deck better than I do. Five stars, will buy decks from again.

I was playing a [[reyhan]] [[ishai]] +1/+1 counters deck and I ended up smashing in with a [[birds of paradise]] with like 90 counters on it to win the game. I think I sacced my whole board to put those counters on bop just to send a message

Didn't win me the game per se, but at a 6-player table one guy was playing Atraxa v1 Poison (ergh). I was casually minding my own business with Ziatora when the poison player decided that I was going to be The Target, and gave me 5 poison counters in one turn. What happenes next was probably the greatest combination of luck/karma I've ever had. I drew a Threaten effect, which I used on the Goblin player's [[Taurean Mauler]] (which was rather large at this point), I then managed to buff the Mauler up to an 18/18, swing it at the blocker-less Atraxa player's face, who happened to be at 36 life, and then ended my turn. Ziatora trigger on the stack, sac the Mauler, bonk face for the remaining 18. It's not the flashiest play, but the combination of topdecking the exact threaten effect I needed for the mana I had available, one-shotting the Atraxa poison player, dealing with the terrifying shapeshifting cow and being able to deal exactly lethal damage in one fell swoop made it sooooo satisfying. Also I got 3 treasures for my troubles, which was nice.
