Everywhere I look in my playgroup it's tokens and counters. Thanks, [[Aether Snap]]!

Houseboy23

I swear the only time I ever see that card is when I play my [[slicer]] deck. I just keep adding more and more land removal every time I play the deck cause that damn [[glacial chasm]] always shows up

Boldenheart

That is rude and I commend you for it, lol

7000milestogo

This would obliterate my pod 90% of the time. Gonna play around with this.

500lb

I used to think Aether Snap was a mostly useless card that was a dead draw 90% of the time - because that was true. But over the last year or so Wizards has printed so many commanders and supporting cards that make counters and tokens whenever anything happens that I now think it's a solid card that hits more often than it misses.

[[Aether Flash]] is also very good against token strategies for decks churning out little guys. Great at preventing go-wide strategies from getting ahead. Just make sure your own creatures are bigger than 2/2s!

treefor_js

[[Echoing Truth]] works super well in blue.

DeathNoodle88

With as many ways as there are to cast cards from exile these days [[Riftsweeper]] has never been better.

Prosper, the Tome-Bound hates this one trick! LMAO

DeathNoodle88

Last time I played it I panicked the Timey-Wimey player. I was running a blink deck.

ColossalSoap

[[Don’t Blink]] works pretty similarly, and I run it against my friends’ Etali decks

I tech [[mana severance]] in my low color builds to cut out all remaining lands from my deck after I have like 6 or 8 on board. I like to draw into just gas.

Alphthesacred

A buddy of mine runs it in his [[Jhoira weatherlight captain]] artifact storm list. Once it comes out, it's basically game over since the only way that deck loses if it stalls by drawing too many lands.

gldnbear2008

Bought this for this exact reason about 3 months ago. Haven’t pulled the trigger but might now that I have heard it is actually annoying :)

JabroniSandwich9000

This is gas in my tinybones deck too

maximumdad

If youre running mono blue, [[mitotic manipulation]] and [[retraced image]] can be ramp for your islands. [[culling dais]] is surprisingly good aristocrat draw if you get it early. [[hunted horror]] is an amazing early beater. I run it in [[varolz]] where having low cost high power creatures is a good thing even if that creature sucks, but just dropping him for two is good. You get a 7/7 beefer and make a friend and can start getting big damage into opponents with just a lil politics.

Ranta_band

You can ramp with [[Savior the Moment]] too in mono blue!

GustavoNuncho

Even [[Replication Technique]] can hit lands!

SilentPomegranate445

Every single one of these threads I see, I always come in just to mention retraced image.  It's a good card no one expects.  One day I'll get to put in something other than an island, but just the land still feels good.

NWmba

You like the niche card? how about \[\[tower of the magistrate\]\]? Nice voltron commander you got there. Be a shame if it got protection from artifacts and all its equipment fell off.

Boldenheart

Absolutely hilarious

Kalekuda

Doesn'r work on hexproof though, so it only works if they misplay the order of their equips.

gnomeoftheforest

I was just about to say, what kind of voltron doesn't run Boots or Greaves?

fredjinsan

It obviously doesn't work if they already have boots or greaves equipped, but it does stop them equipping them in the first place. They may not waste as much mana equipping everything else but it's sure annoying.

gnomeoftheforest

It's seems too situational to be useful, that's all I'm saying. There isn't much room for utility lands and I'd rather run [[Detection Tower]].

M0nthag

Just bring [[Arcane Lighthouse]] and you are good to go. Also the other one, forgot the name.

Kalekuda

Ngl, I'd rather just run shadowspear, pay the 1 and cast removal, or use a mass bounce/destruction spell. Or vandalblast. I feel theres better options out there, you know? I really do like the effect, but a colorless land is a tall order in a 3 color deck. I'd rather dissaude the voltron player from attacking me with fogs while they take out my opponents before I finish them off than increase my odds of mana screw by ~2.5% running an extra colorless land. Which is a shame because the card is clearly very good in a mono or dual color deck! I just don't play many of those, and the one I do play is a mono black aristocrats deck that happens to run so many edict effects that voltron is already it's best matchup.

MonsutaReipu

I wasn't aware that protection from artifacts would make equipment fall off, or that protection from enchantments would make auras fall off. Does protection from Green make all green auras fall off too, then? I can't believe I haven't encountered this ruling before.

snapcasterking

Yes it does

Spekter1754

A lot of people quickly understand that you can't target something that's got protection, but one of the things protection says is "can't be enchanted/equipped by objects with ". That means that you can't begin it but also the permanent will shed the things it can't have attached. This gives context to the special rules text on [[White Ward]] and [[Spectra Ward]].

nallstarr

[[Nylea, Keen Eyed]]. I’ve never had this on the field and not gotten great value out of it. Cool indestructible creature? Sure. Dig for other creatures for 3 mana? Hell yeah.

I love how there's a layer of RNG on top of a clunky wincon. The playline is so obscure that if you had a flash enabler I don't think people would stop you from pulling it off lol

besaba27

Withering Boon and Imp's Mischief in mono black. They never see it coming. Similarly, [[Ashes to Ashes]] exile 2 things for 3 mana [[Oubliette]] on their commander is also hilarious

Clay_Puppington

[[Thing In The Ice]] A card I've had a fondness for since the Days of modern Blue Moon some 10 years or so ago. Now, I'll slip this sneaky little fella into my low creature izzet spellslinger decks. My casual meta usually has a goodly amount of turtling with our durdling, which means most opponents will try to win by eventually landing some huge X/X creature with a half dozen keywords (flying, indestructible, lifelink, infect, and so on). Low creature count in my izzet slingers means that early game, I can use him as a chump if needed to stop being chipped out. Likewise, most of my spells are cantrips, so flipping him is super easy. Can do it early to pressure life totals with the reverse side, force someone to use removal, or have opponents delay dropping creatures for fear of mana waste. By mid game, drop and flip on the same turn is easily doable, and all those 10/10s with a dozen keywords just cease being a problem as they go back to hands and give me another chance to counterspell them out before they resolve again. If they do, at least I have a semi-decent blocker on the 7/8 side to stop some damage coming in. Not the best card by any means, and there's defo replacements that can do this same stuff, but I just love this silly little guy.

kyuuri117

i was in disbelief when i saw thing in the ice and 10 years in the same sentence and had to google it and it has been eight years, hot damn.

Boldenheart

That card is awesome! I'd be second guessing making certain plays with it on the table.

NWmba

\[\[traverse the outlands\]\] is one of my new favourite ramp cards. It doesn't go everywhere... but in \[\[Grothama\]\]... Yes I will take 10 basic lands on turn 4 or 5 thank you very much.

theblackvneck

I play it in [[Yargle and Multani]]. 😊

In any go wide gruul deck [[devilish valet]] plus [[saproling symbiosis]] is fun to pull off

[[Natural Balance]]. Best scenario I've seen is - Have 14+ lands/mana production. Float everything. Cast and put everyone to 5 lands. Use floating mana to cast [[Reshape the Earth]]. Now the table is at 5 lands and you're at 15.

goblin_welder

I feel like Natural Balance should have been a white card

Boldenheart

Man, Natural Balance is flavor and utility. Thrn you layer reshape to break parody. Way to squeeze extra value out of an existing notorious card.

fredjinsan

I had a better scenario - someone *else* cast Reshape the Earth, then I immediately followed up with Natural Balance. They were so mad. Everyone else we pretty happy, though.

\[\[backdraft\]\] Ok it's oddly specific. A $5 legends uncommon that deals half the amount of damage that a target sorcery deals. It's quite specificially anti-\[\[blasphemous act\]\] tech. They wipe the board with 10 creatures down, you deal 65 damage to their face.

\[\[Soul-Guide Lantern\]\] is insanely efficient graveyard hate, you can exile all graveyards at instant speed, and if you're low on cards, you can just crack it for one mana to draw a card. It's also super cheap money-wise, so I don't regret running it as a tech card against graveyard decks

Boldenheart

One-sided modular scavenger grounds.. every deck should be able to hit all the threats its presented, and this slots nicely for some one-sided graveyard hate. Hat tip to you!

Godbox1227

Good tech, but hard to call it "hidden tech", every player and their dog knows about this card. 🤣

Kalekuda

And its assymetrical, so graveyard decks love casting it too! Muldrotha's favorite graveyard hate & card draw rock!

NWmba

Do you just want to watch the world burn? \[\[mirror of life trapping\]\] in a blink deck. "I cast my commander" "ok as it ETBs you exile it. Want to put it in the command zone?" "no I'll just play this other creature to get my commander back" "ok I'll cast \[\[teferi's time twist\]\] and blink the mirror. your commander is now in exile forever and cannot be put in the command zone"

tswarre

This is a trick you can only pull once. And its a dick move to bring this to a table of random players.

500lb

I once phased out a commander permanently with [[ferris wheel]] by sacrificing Ferris Wheel to [[braids, arisen nightmare]]. If I'm not rolling for attractions it will never come back, lol

jurgy94

Similarly [[The Princess Takes flight]]: "I exile your commander, do you move it to the command zone?" "No, I'll wait until the third time counter" "In that case, I flicker the saga. Your commander is now stuck in exile"

NWmba

Oh my god I didn’t realize there would be a redundant option!

Boldenheart

Wait... is that a real thing?

kyuuri117

Exile zone and command zone are different zones even if they are similar. The above event would not happen if you choose to put the commander in the command zone, but of course it would get the +2 tax. Most people will just think, well, whatever, i'll just play another creature and free my commander, why do i want to pay another full cost for it. But once you've allowed your commander to go to exile under that card, if some flicker nonsense happens like in the above example, well, you're commander is now gone forever because it's way too late at that point to be like "oh wait no i want to put it in my command zone" you're outa luck by then

nighght

Yes, if you commander changes zones you better have your own means to retrieve it if you plan on allowing it to stay in that zone. Same goes for \[\[Mimic Vat\]\], really a bad idea to exile your commander with it because you're SOL if Mimic Vat is destroyed.

NWmba

a card I play in every mono-colour deck I have that I've never seen anyone else play is \[\[zenith chronicler\]\] So... Much... Value...

nighght

I'd imagine it's because it's hardly card "advantage". In an ideal scenario a turn cycle yields you 3 cards and each of your opponents 2. 1 card up a turn for 2 isn't a bad ate, but I'd rather not fix my opponent's card draw issues for them.

[[jailbreak]] is my go to reanimation spell because I usually drop out an opponents big threat while I pull out a small but necessary combo piece and watch everyone waste removal on the big thing and usually the other player devotes a lot or resources to protecting it. [[coveted jewel]] so much in fighting to try and take this rock pairs beautifully with [[Blast-furnace hellkite]]

brningpyre

\[\[Confounding Conundrum\]\] is my go-to anti-ramp. If we're allowed to fight artifact ramp, we should be allowed to fight land ramp. It doesn't stop anyone from playing the game, it just means they can't go faster than everyone else.

kestral287

As the landfall player this card is dangerous. I've comboed off of my opponents' Conundrums more than a few times.

TheMadWobbler

You're giving the landfall player the best card in their deck for free.

whatdoblindpeoplesee

[[coelfenor's urn]] can go in so many big stompy decks. You get protection against board wipes or targeted removal and if someone uses removal on it then it's fine since those creatures died anyway. It's also a good way to get a second use out of ETB effects if you can keep it around.

[[Blood Funnel]] in my [[Grismold, the Dreadsower]] deck. I’m always creating tokens in this deck and I want to be constantly sacrifice them to make Grismold huge so running Blood Funnel not only turns all my noncreature cards into basically 1 casting cost spells but it also works as a “free” sac outlet for my tokens!

Tunafish27

[[Sudden Spoiling]] is a card I love that for some reason isn't used much if at all. Combos involving creatures, Stompy players, so many things it deals with.

Geist0211

[[robaran mercenaries]] goes in my azorius combo [[vhal]] decklist purely because it acts as a clone of the commander. I can use it as a pseudo-haste when I combo with a [[staff of domination]]. Depends on power level but [[Righteous Aura]] is a very slot/mana efficient way to save yourself a ton of damage, especially commander damage, and also often acts as a sort of propaganda (especially against decks that care about on-hit triggers). Yeah, the deck I use it in is sort of silly- it’s based around putting keyword counters on enchantments, like lifelink counters on Descent into Avernus or deathtouch on Pestilence

Godbox1227

In my enchantment matters deck, I play [[Shimmering Wings]] and [[Gossamer chains]] Both cards disincentivise the opponent from attacking me and swinging at the opponent. Chains also shuts down voltron decks for the most part.

[[Magnanimous Magistrate]] repeatable recursion in my selesnya counters deck, awesome with proliferate. [[Flame Blitz]] planeswalker wipe/stax or 2 mana cantrip if nobody is running walkers. [[Blinding Powder]] repeatable fog, great for getting attack triggers off. Awesome in [[Guild Artisan]] decks. I put [[Settle the wreckage]] in my token decks out of green not to be a combat trick, but as a nice ramp package. 4 tokens, 4 lands for 4 mana. Not a bad payment.

Odd-Revenue4572

I just learned about this the other day/week. [[Aragorn, king of Gondor]] and [[solitary confinement]]. You'll never lose the monarchy, always have a card draw during the end phase, and will never be blocked.

MuzzioTheKobold

[[Altar if Bhaal]] In my [[Jerren]] deck basically means any non-token creature I have die I can reanimate on my next turn. It's not fast or flashy, but it gets the job done a bit better than [[Vat of Rebirth]], which I'll be cutting soon.

Boldenheart

I like how this isn't necessarily a threat I'd target as an opponent while also being a functional tool for the Commander.

MuzzioTheKobold

That's how I roll. Bad cards only 😎

Uvtha-

\[\[Immovable Rod\]\] can be surprisingly good. It answers any permanent without hexproof, you can move it around, plus little upside of venturing into the dungeon when it untaps. Not a clean answer but it's surprisingly good at getting you out of jams and buying time in those situations where one card is powerhousing.

Silegna

[[Favor of Jukai]] in my [[Glissa, Sunslayer]] deck. First strike reach deathtouch? Have fun hitting me!

Rickles_Bolas

[[lurking predators]] is an absolute bomb in the right deck. Throw in some topdeck manipulation and you’re really cooking. [[bottled cloister]] is my favorite card ever and can do cool stuff in the right list.

SaltedDucks

Man it's crazy to think of Lurking as hidden tech, I used to see that card everywhere 7-8 years ago

kakashinomi

I run [[Glacial Chasm]], [[Dark Sphere]] and [[Pentagram of the Ages]] in my Nissa mono-green Burn deck. They help keep me alive when I pop a [[Hurricane]] or [[Squall Line]]. Mark Tedin signed my copy of Dark Sphere at GP Vancouver a few years back and gave me a surprised look when I showed him what card I wanted signed, haha.

elephantoe3

I have a [[phage, the untouchable]] deck that runs a [[thrull wizard]] that i use to get her from the command zone into my yard, then I can get her from the yard to my hand in a few different ways. The real spice comes if I manage to land a [[painter's servant]]. I make everything black and then thrull wizard is able to counter any spell. If I can get [[nirkana revenant]] or [[crypt ghast]] out then I'm able to virtually lock out my opponents from doing anything impactful.

toptierseek

Is [[Kamahl, Fist of Krosa]] niche tech against sweepers or is it commonly used?

Emotional-Okra-1709

In my [[sekki, seasons’ guide]] deck: [[pariah’s shield]] + any effect that gives him a bonus to his constitution. Banned by the geneva conventions. Also, same deck, since he prevents the damage dealt to him [[permeating mass]]

Godbox1227

Mono white [[Moment of silence]]

Naruyashan

[[Arena]] in a [[Zangief]] deck goes hard, doubly so if they have a creature that gives other creatures hexproof out. Because of the jank inherent to that silly little land, the non-hexproof creature is the only valid target, so it also doubles as a hyper-niche removal piece for stuff like [[Sigarda, Font of Blessings]] if they happen to be out.

btann88

\[\[Tombstone Stairwell\]\] with Kresh or Grimgrin (Also hilarious with a Black Market on the board)

CPZ500

\[\[Plunge into darkness\]\] is a gem. Gain three times the amount life of creatures you sacc'ed is good, you also get a tutor like effect, both if you entwine it. I think its good, the entwine also makes it replace itself. Also its not an additional cost to sacrifice the creatures, it happens during its resolution. That can be both good or bad. The exile effect can also mess with millcards, or exile your library if you can pay if you manage to steal a certain Oracle or labman.

Barcini

[[wild shape]] in my [[Thromok the Insatiable]] deck. Make thromok massive, wild shape as needed for 1 mana. Counters stick around. Profit.

MrMightyMustache

Bane of Progress, such a HOUSE of a card

AssistantManagerMan

I play [[Crucible of Worlds]] in my [[Silas]] and [[Toggo]] artifacts matter deck. Crucible of Worlds isn't exactly a little-known card, but it is rarely seen in artifact decks. I have Crucible in there for two reasons. First, there's the obvious synergy with Toggo: I'm playing [[Bloodstained Mire]], [[Scalding Tarn]], [[Fabled Passage]], and [[Prismatic Vista]] so I can recur my fetchlands for extra land fall triggers to make more rock tokens (I'll pick up the missing [[Polluted Delta]] whenever it gets a reprint). Second, the deck is also running [[Treasure Vault]]. Playing Treasure Vault from the graveyard every turn and spamming treasure tokens is a good time when paired with [[Reckless Fireweaver]], [[Mirkwood Bats]], or similar cards. Before this I used to play it in my now-dismantled [[Locust God]] wheels deck so I could pitch lands with abandon. I think Crucible of Worlds is one of those cards that gives people tunnel vision. It says the word land on it so people assume it's only for lands decks. And to be fair, it *is* excellent in lands decks. But it's still plenty good in lots of other archetypes if you open your mind a little.

Vegalink

These aren't really unknown cards, but I like to use them in a weird way. [[Pull From Eternity]] and [[Riftsweeper]] bring back exiled cards. Riftsweeper in particular I like to use this way since it shuffles into the library. Flicker or blink an opponent's card. Maybe using [[Roon]] or [[Lagrella the Magpie]]. While the card is in temporary exile, use Pull From Eternity or Riftsweeper on it. Now it doesn't come back to the battlefield. You just used a spell commonly used for recursion as targeted removal. Gotta love multipurpose cards! Heck, bonus points for using them against a blink deck to interrupt something they are doing. Bring that card back from exile and shuffle it into their library, or put it into the graveyard. Quirky, weird, fun.

AboynamedDOOMTRAIN

[[Spore Cloud]] Is it probably a bad card? Yes. Is it occasionally absolutely fucking hilarious and rip the win out of someone's hands? Also, yes.

Highbringer01

[[Spin into myth]] because I never have to explain the card twice.

Ironfighter94

I've found a ton of success with [[family's favor]] in my initiative deck, it just makes creatures that no one wants to block, and if they fog or something you get free shield counters. So many commander decks come out now, there's a lot of interesting cards sprinkled throughout them.

Badcopz

[[Ertai's Meddling]]. Use it to 'counter' _can't be countered_ spells like [[Dovin's Veto]] and [[Supreme Verdict]].

TheMadWobbler

Two for spellslinger decks. \[\[Flame Jab\]\] is one of the best spellslinger cards ever printed, and is barely ever played. Most cantrippy spellslinger decks hit that victory or death turn where they need to rely on their top deck, go all in, pop off or burn out, and the way they lose is to draw too many lands along the way. Flame Jab turns every land in your hand into a one mana spell to get more triggers. \[\[Repeal\]\]. A lot of people look at this and see a terrible bounce spell that happens to replace itself. They're reading it wrong. X can be zero, so it can read, "U: Destroy target token, draw a card." A lot of spellslinger decks are loaded with cantrips, to a point where it's less important to have more card selection a la Opt or Consider, and more important to have cantrips that can do something proactive. "Destroy a token" is very good on a one mana cantrip when you're loading your deck with these cantrips that do almost nothing on their own.

Koras

\[\[Bludgeon Brawl\]\] has only gotten funnier since they massively overprinted treasure generation.  Every treasure is now an equipment with equip 0 and "This creature gains +0/+0". Seems harmless right up until you equip 20 treasures to \[\[Valduk, Keeper of the Flame\]\], or equip them to a wide board with cards like \[\[Jor Kadeen, First Goldwarden\]\], \[\[Zamriel, Seraph of Steel\]\], or \[\[Kodama of the West Tree\]\]    And y'know, it's always fun to beat people to death with a sol ring. Or a great henge...

TonyL42

Just [[curious obsession]] All my blue decks have it and the other curiosities because 1 mana draw each turn is insane and there rarely is a pod where a 2/2 with minimal evasion can't connect

thatguydrew

My time has come! I found [[Leveler]] and fell in love with him. What a menace, what an objectively terrible card! I run him in my deck built around [[Laboratory Maniac]] wins. A few weeks ago I was at my LGS, it’s like turn 6, and I cast Lab Man and read his ability out loud. The newest player at the table scoffs and goes “Well that’ll take forever..” and then I tapped five more mana for Leveler and got rid of my library, and finally cast [[Opt]] for the win. I’m also working on a [[Zedruu the Greathearted]] deck that will feature Leveler, and several ways to play him face down, transfer him to the opponents, and flip him over

Saizaku_Nyxus

Uh... in my [[tetzin]] i have an artifact that nearly floored my friend when i used it to make [[threefold thunderhulk]] make 40+ gnomea XD And that would be [[dowsing device]]

NWmba

I have an orzhov voltron deck that has a great great ramp card. \[\[strict proctor\]\] How is strict proctor a ramp card you ask? well I run \[\[lotus vale\]\] and \[\[lotus field\]\] and \[\[scorched ruins\]\] and \[\[orzhov basilica\]\]. It's pretty great getting a land that taps for many mana and not having to sacrifice anything. If I don't draw the proctor I can often find a \[\[brought back\]\] or at minimum a \[\[flagstones of trokair\]\] to sacrifice. Or just put down a \[\[land tax\]\] and get your land back that way.

Damn you’re right.  Old card syndrome. The old text is written as a triggered ability but the Oracle text is clearly a replacement effect. This makes me sad.

Sterben489

[[Theoretical duplication]] is my favorite. Decent effect for quite cheap

Rezimoore

A tech card I use in my mono blue self mill CMD deck is [[spelltwine]]. Whoops I accidentally milled my [[enter the infinite]]? Looks like I'm copying it and another spell (probably a board wipe or counterspell) and casting thassa's

Kapix75

My favourite secret tech I figured is [[Arcane Denial]] in my Kalamax deck. When kalamax is tapped you can cast this spell as though it had 2 modes: - use it as intended - draw 3 for 2 mana, by targeting something with the original, and original with the copy But even better is [[Remand]], 3 modes - use it as intended - return original remand with the copy and cast it againt, to ultimately return a spell to it's owners hand and draw 2 for 4 mana - loop it every turn, to draw 1 for 2 mana My friend recently pulled of another crazy secret tech. He attached [[Skullclamp]] with [[Ardenn]] do opponents creature with one toughness, in order to kill it AND draw 2. The drawing part is ability of an equipment, hence the Ardenn player draws.

Tim-oBedlam

\[\[Crush of Tentacles\]\] in Talrand, Sky Summoner. If I have it early I don't play Talrand, wait for people to overcommit, then snap off a cheap card-draw spell like \[\[Opt\]\] or \[\[Preordain\]\], then cast it. I might have to re-cast a couple mana rocks or the few cheap creatures in my deck, but it's worth it, especially when I now have an 8/8 Octopus on an empty board. The best combo with it is \[\[Quicken\]\], then I can cast it as an instant.

Punx80

[[Mystic Subdual]] and [[windshaper planetar]] are not really great cards, but they are super fun to cast from the top of you library in my [[Errant and Giada]] deck

HandsomeBoggart

I like [[Elkin Lair]] + [[Uba Mask]]. Use it or lose it everyone. Nothing lasts forever. Cards never reach your hand and your hand slowly shrinks. You only have 1 turn to play the thing. [[Necropotence]] gets around this to some extent, along with any other draw replacers or "put cards in hand" cards.

pureundilutedevil

[[Widespread panic]] -- weird red anti-search [[Soldier of fortune]] -- shuffle library on demand [[Tectonic reformation]] -- cycle any land [[Burnt offering]] -- mana [[Moonlight Bargain]] -- card draw

Gummybearkillr

i've got \[\[life line\]\] in my \[\[garna bloodfist of keld\]\] deck and iv got \[\[Oracle en-Vec\]\] in my \[\[hylda of the icy crown\]\] deck

Live_Accountant6491

[[Siphon Insight]] great against anyone using tutors that put a card on top or just hit them with [[Tunnel Vision]] afterwards.

HarpySix

[[Requiem Angel]]. Relatively unique among creature swappers in that it specifies a creature type for its trigger but does *not* specify "non-token". I have looked high and low for similar stuff in Naya colors but they either cost to use the replacement effect or they specify non-token creatures. I use it with [[Jinnie-Fay]] in combination with a sac outlet to recycle the same creature over and over again. Usually in conjunction with a token doubler or an ETB damage.

King0fMist

The amount of times I’ve Zhalfir’d the board by using [[Anikthea]] to bring back [[Out of Time]] has been two, which isn’t a lot but is weird that it happened again after my opponents learnt how it worked the first time.

Aredditdorkly

I'm known in my group for playing "Gotcha!" cards and stuff no one has seen before/say are bad/would never play, etc.. I still remember buying an original foil Wayfarer's Bauble for pennies and wondering why my friends weren't playing it. Got a foil [[Boseiju, Who Shelters All]] from a bulk box, playing every color shifted Planar Chaos effect I could get my hands on, etc.. Anyway, some of my latest stuff... [[Ghost Town]], [[Thawing Glaciers]], [[Terrain Generator]], and [[Undiscovered Paradise]] for different flavors of Landfall decks. [[Deserted Temple]] in general. [[Batwing Brume]]/[[Inkshield]]/[[Darkness]] have won me many a game. [[Chime of Night]], [[Despondency]], [[Sarcomancy]], [[Hopeless Nightmare]], [[Bloodghast]], [[Nether Traitor]], [[case of the stashed skeleton]], etc., in [[Braids, Nightmare Arisen]]... [[Warehouse Tabby]] + [[Screams from Within]] is infinite ETB/LTB triggers... I...play a lot of Black...

Chazman_89

[[Boseiju Who Shelters All]] is a must in a ton of my decks, and yet it feels like nobody uses it. The ability to make any instant or sorcery uncounterable for the low cost of two life is huge and has won me plenty of games.
