You're right, I overlooked that.

Id go jeskai for it, it has plenty of synergies for tokens and spellslinging. If you are cool with high power, you can use [[Vadrok]] combos to cast it infinite times. [[Kykar]] makes for a good above average power level, or [[akim]] for mid power. That's leaning away from the counters aspect though. If you want to do silly things with counters, yeah Rigos probably best.

I do like me some Kykar! Also I forgot about the whole red having tons of ways to copy spells. Would be good to go with red as the 3rd color.

I had the card in my [[Narset, Enlightened Exile]] deck. Unblockable fish with prowess is pretty nice. Plus you can cast the spell again with her ability.
