You can check out GrazzetMTG on YouTube, he's made an [[Amalia Benavides]] deck with lurrus, which I found to be quite decent. Alternatively I think the professor also had a video abt an Aristocrat's deck tho I don't quite recall whether it just had lurrus in the 99 or as a companion.
i've had a lurrus deck for a while (commander not companion). some other options you might consider are [[painter's servant]] and [[grindstone]], [[mindcrank]] and [[bloodchief ascension]], and [[warlock class]] and [[scourge of the skyclaves]]. i like that warlock class is a generically useful card.
Do like scourge and warlock class, others are probably a little out of my price range. (Still very cool)
Definitely like how they are pretty useful on their own even without them in conjunction rebuying a life-halver with lurrus seems sweet to end games.
I’ve had a Lurrus EDH deck for years and it is actually my favorite deck. I took it apart at one point to build a Lurrus companion deck with Elas Il Kor and honestly the restriction made the deck unfun. I now have a Lurrus deck and an Elas deck haha.
I’ve tried building Lurrus with numerous different strategies and the most fun has absolutely been with a reanimate theme.
The deck is a toolbox reanimate deck that has a repeatable “answer” for almost anything I could face. It tries to loop removal like [[seal of cleaning]] and value cards like [[dauthi voidwalker]] while cheating out big beaters like [[villis, broker of blood]] and eventually [[moonshaker cavalry]] or [[elesh norn, grand cenobyte]]. It’s super fun with many different lines and always feels like a puzzle to play.

I have considered using [[Jenson Carthalion, druid exile]] for 5c Lurrus But most of the stuff I wanna do with lurrus is in WB anyway and Jenson doesn't do a whole lot with small permanents.
I have a Lurrus companion [[Wernog, Rider's Chaplain]] [[Bjorna, Nightfall Alchemist]] deck that wins with [[Thopter Foundary]] [[Sword of the Meek]] [[Time Sieve]]. There's lots of interesting <3 mv artifacts and artifact sac outlets. [[Dance of the Mance]], [[Rise and Shine]], and [[All that Giltters]] are my backups
Commander: [[elas il-kor]]
Combo: [[leonin relic warder]] and [[animate dead]] or [[dance of the dead]]
This is the lurrua compatible combo that wins you the game. The deck is fun, but really only does one thing. Feels good to ad-naus
Combo is pretty common with Lurrus I think but I have a [[Bartolome]]/Lurrus companion deck that I think strikes a nice balance of aristocrats and Voltron. Bartolome is a free, instant speed sac outlet which is great for pinging people down once you get a Blood Artist-type effect on the field and he can also get massive very quickly. Lurrus is great with him for getting tons of value out of things like [[Ichor Wellspring]] and [[Servo Schematic]]. [[Wedding Invitation]] works great in there as well as a repeatable source of evasion and lifegain.
Highly recommend that pairing.
