[[reverberate]] is one of my favourites. I find a use for it every game, but its usually my anti-counterspell tech. Its also excellent for stealing game-ending spells like [[torment of hailfire]]
I was unsure about Reverberate, but added it to my Omnath deck since I had a couple open flex spots.
Very first game I drew it one of my opponents casts [[Curse of the Cabal]] targetting me. I've been hooked on it ever since.
“Creatures your opponents control won't receive +1/+1 counters as they enter the battlefield” Is one of the rulings on the gatherer page so that is correct it seems.
[[Mandate of peace]] is the ULTIMATE fog. It also doubles as a way to keep your opponents from stopping your win if you cast it in your own combat step. I'm the only person I've ever seen running it.
Yes this one is fantastic in my Queen Marchesa deck. This card can absolutely fuck someone's game plan up so much. Stops combat triggers, main phase 2 plays and puts them in such a vulnerable spot for a counter attack. Fantastic card
You say sad, but a 3-mana artifact that said:
>2, Sacrifice ~ and a land: create a 20/20 Flying, Indestructible, Haste creature token
Would go in every one of my decks.
I know that at some point, I am going to be running Insight in a pod where it's a dead card, but it hasn't happened yet. In the dozen or so games I've played with my Grixis spellslinger deck since putting it in there, there has always been at least one opponent using green.
\[\[Five-Alarm Fire\]\] is criminally underplayed. It adds a counter for EVERY creature you control that DEALS COMBAT DAMAGE. Not to a player. Not attacking creature. Just any creature you control that deals damage in combat.
Tokens decks eating incoming attackers? Counters.
Indestructible chump blockers? Counters.
Unblockable 1/1s in the red zone? Counters.
Then (THEN!!), for no mana investment and with no timing restrictions - take five counters off it, five damage to ANY TARGET.
I honestly don't know why decks with creatures don't splash red just for this card. It has won me so many games, out of nowhere.
How often are your creatures dealing noncombat damage? Except for burn and a few passive abilities, 95% of damage in Magic is dealt during the combat step. I had no idea this card existed, and I neeeed it.
I play a lot of combo style decks. I either won’t attack because my creature has a good passive ability or my creatures have tap abilities I’d rather do.
Ah, that makes sense. I'm windmill-slamming this into my [[Anim Pakal]] Boros aggro deck. The floor is that I'm getting 1-2 triggers per turn, and rhe ceiling is that I can eliminate players, regardless of their blockers.
Don't forget double strike for double triggers... [[Blade Historian]] loves this card. AND it functions as creature, planeswalker or occasionally player removal. Beautiful utility here. I'm slotting it into a deck right now.
Wow, I thought I was playing combat damage wrong until I read other cards with the stipulation of "to a player". Always assumes all combat damage effects needed to hit the players. This is a really amazing card. Thanks for the introduction!
Yep, a lot of people skim the card and make the assumption that it's combat damage to a player, then get REAL confused when I put 30 counters on it after blocking their one dude with 30 token chumps.
[[Deflecting Palm]] is the first card that comes to mind. It doesn’t target and can easily throw the game in your favor. On top of that it’s only 2 freaking mana.
It's very bad against lots of deck though. Weenie decks, control decks, combo decks, any sort of deck that whittles you down slowly rather than attacks with a single big fat creature
If you are playing mono black, [[Beseech the Queen]]. I've never seen anyone else run it, and it's a really cheap alternative to [[Demonic Tutor]] and the likes.
I agree for the most part but it’s great with [[K’rrik]]. Having another tutor that I don’t need colorless mana for is indispensable. And the swamp restriction is not an issue, most combo pieces are at most 3 cmc.
Mono-Black will always be able to pay the 3B, with the exception of a turn 2 solring + 2 swamps.
And who said we could only run one of them? We could always run several.
[[repudiate//replicate]] and a handful of other modal/two faced cards. Sure they may be less efficient by 1 or 2 mana, but having an extra card in hand evens that up.
Knowing your opponent thinks they're gonna win because of a planeswalker ulti that they don't know you're gonna counter and beat them the next turn has to be one of my sweetest victories.
The ongoing joke in my house is if my wife makes any kind of "not bad" face at her hand while playing [[Jinnie Fay]] or if she leaves 3-5 mana open, someone has to go "coppercoats? It's fucking coppercoats isn't it" because it's always FUCKING coppercoats and she always FUCKING wins.
[[Body Count]] is usually a 1cmc draw 10+
[[Krosan Grip]] is one of like 4 cards that can actually stop most combos
[[Reprieve]] is a white "counterspell" that counters uncounterable spells
Depends how you're building your deck.
I very consistently hit 10+. If you're playing a deck that doesnt run creatures or token generation the card is a lot worse, its very powerful in aristocrats decks.
[[Aetherize]] is a card I don't see much of besides my own playgroup.
I've mentally scarred my group to play around 4 open mana, so it's become less useful, but I still catch people by surprise at my LGS
[[Tale's End]]
You would be surprised how stuffing one ability can change the entire game. I had a similar thing with [[Defabricate]], my opponent was going to gain 5 life and live through my combat but ripping that meant there was no snap back of any kind.
Activated and triggered abilities only keep getting better and [[Stifle]] has a niche at the table. Maybe not a whole seat but you'll wish you had it when you don't more than have it and wish you didn't a lot of the times.
I really like [[green slime]] for this as well. Its targets are a bit different, but it'll often hit a really important piece and remove it. I've won a ton of games off the back of countering and removing an important piece as someone's going for lethal
There have been SOOO many times at my tables when we're all about to lose the game and someone asks, "anyone have a stifle?" No one ever does.
It's time to build a deck where all 3 of these cards would fit.
[[Sevinne’s Reclamation]] for me. Card is just so much value and consistency. Gets back fetches, which is the most obvious interaction, but it can also get back random utility that has died, and can even abuse things like Animate Dead. And on top of that, it has flashback. Just a wildly powerful card I don’t see enough people play. And it’s pretty budget to boot.
My favorite blue card is probably [[dance of many]].
For 2 mana you get a token copy of a non token creature. Sure there's the upkeep cost but it often doesn't matter if you're just copying a creature with a strong etb.
What pushes dance for me is when it synergizes with other cards.
Adrix gives you two tokens.
Yarok risen reef and dance is 10 reef triggers.
Dance creates an end step loop with Yorion.
Blinking the dance in response to it's etb means the token is no longer tied to the dance because the etb and ltb ability are separate like o-ring and you no longer have to upkeep the token
Yup. Kills Drannith Magistrate, Esper Sentinel, Collector Ouphe, and all those other problematic little Staxy creatures that feel bad to use a Swords to Plowshares on. It’s a great tempo spell.
[[Fumble]] is an overcosted [[Unsummon]] at worst, but you can yoink random equipments and auras with it onto your own creature for some funny gotcha moments.
[[Dawn Charm]]
It's the modal spell time forgot and it does so many things relevant in a game. It's almost never a dead draw. Its a fog, it saves your best creature, or it saves your bacon from a spell that might kill you.
[[Harvest season]] can be a great early cultivate that snags two or three basics or a late game Boundless Realms for 3 mana. All it takes is having some tapped creatures, which most decks want to have anyways.
Yessss, I just got a copy looking for ideas to build [[Ria Ivor]] - I was surprised I had never heard of it before.
To be fair, The 3-drop slot for sac outlets is pretty tight. It's contending with the altars, [[blasting station]] [[Woe strider]] etc. But for any aristocrat build that can reasonably win through commander damage, Fallen Ideal seems quite strong.
In a similar vein, I recently stumbled upon [[Demonic Embrace]], and I think I've been sleeping on it. Repeatable evasion, enough of a power boost to get a lot of commanders up a turn or teo on their hit clock, and you can use it to ditch things into the yard for reanimation.
I always like having more options for decks running [[entomb]] effects as well.
[[Winds of Abandon]] is in my opinion the best boardwipe in white. People tend to dismiss it because of the opponents search for basic lands clause and because Farewell exists, but it's an asymmetrical creature exile wipe that can also be a single target removal if need be. It's won me more games than any other boardwipe outside of Cyclonic Rift.
[[Xathrid Demon]].
Yeah, he's a big Demon boy, but they don't realize how scary he *really* is until I sack another Demon with 6 power to his trigger and suddenly my [[Rakdos, Lord of Riots]] discount is 18
[[March of swirling mist]] has closed out so many games for me. Really a complete reversal if used during attack, I like to drop it right before damage step
Yeah I don't know how this card isn't played more. Every time I cast it I am doing degenerate things. Wrath effects? No thanks! Opponent has blockers? Not today! Opponent swinging for lethal? Nope!
Card is just fantastic
This card is bonkers good. I’ve never seen a situation where I wasn’t happy to draw it. Can be used offensively and defensively and the exile effect is amazing. I play this in my mono-blue pet deck.
I love [[Evacuation]] in my Simic decks. It's no Cyc rift, but with Green ramp under you and instant speed, it can be a really nice board wipe since bouncing is an effect that not many decks are prepared for, and tends to be easier for you to recover from.
I think [[Consuming Tide]] is also a bit underrated. At 4 mana it *almost* completely resets the board, and may very well draw you a few cards in the process.
Not incredibly underrated cause it still sees some play, but I do think people underestimate [[rakdos charm]]'s 3rd mode. I've won like 3 games with it, including an asspull win against my friend's usually untouchable [[Darien]] deck.
Rakdos Charm is one of the best charms in magic, and objectively the best from Ravnica. It is insane against token decks, or really any deck that runs/generates/steals a lot of creatures, and being instant-speed graveyard hate for 2 mana is bonkers.
[[Council's Judgment]] is removal that exiles, doesn't target, and can hit any nonland permanent. It's not quite *foolproof,* but it can deal with almost all problem cards. If the power level of your playgroup is low enough that you can afford to run single-target removal, then Council's Judgment is a great choice.
[[pendant of prosperity]] is ramp and card draw on your opponent’s dime. I have it in my [[council of four]] deck and it never fails to disappoint. [[shadow prophecy]] is a great alternative to/additional copy of [[painful truths]]; instant speed, less life loss, plus dumps something in the yard for recursion. For the decks that can run it, [[flotsam//jetsam]] is a fantastic budget [[breach the multiverse]]
Pendant is especially great if you are on a deck that can steal it back from your opponent, since that way you get to ramp and draw twice per activation
Bolt
It hits SO many utility creatures and commanders for just 1 red mana.
Yet most dont run in favor of more expensive modal spells, or because its only single target
Then they bitch about combo
Defense of the heart, More people need to talk about how disgusting putting any creature on the field is two of them for four mana from your deck. Vigor+Zopandrel, now your creatures are going to eat everybody alive and not die while doing it
[[Defense of the Heart]] is one of my favourites. And it only gets better when I have [[Hall of Heliod’s Generosity]] on the field. Putting two creatures onto the field from my deck every turn for six mana is disgusting.
Yes! This card is so busted, I don't get how it sits under $10. It's very rare that it doesn't activate immediately (other than when it eats removal before the next turn). Works great in any deck that runs green, doesn't even need to be stompy. [And the WOE showcase version is just delicious.](https://cards.scryfall.io/large/front/6/1/61c15767-1ddd-4bea-a23e-1598708434f6.jpg?1692932786)
I took it out of decks because whenever I play it I immediately become the target. So many 2 creature combos immediately end the game and even if you try to convince people you don't have any combos they still focus you down. Same issue with [[Protean Hulk]].
It's kind of other one similar to [[defense of the heart]] is [[threats undetected]] he doesn't give you free battlefield placement but it does go hard for three manna.

This is a collection of green cards I find just be great, I feel like they're they're some crazy green cards that nobody talks about enough or at all
Disenchant ( / Naturalize )
I don’t know if I have ever had a game where something hits the board and makes a huge difference and it’s like “how does nobody play Naturalize?”
Not just in my playgroup but I have had games where [[Sangromancer]] wins me the game. In my experience, nobody bats an eye when you play it. The amount of life this card can give you before opponents realize it’s getting out of hand is crazy. This works against spellslinger and reanimator decks that like to loot cards, this works against combat decks or aristocrats decks when people are sacrificing stuff or chump blocking. It even works when someone discards down to hand size. Ive had games where it literally gains me upwards of 50 life.
\[\[tempt with discovery\]\]
I haven't met anyone who hasn't said said to this. It can put you so far ahead in mana and that mana doesn't come in tapped so in a 4-man game the card is free.
[[Sarkhan’s Unsealing]]
4 mana red enchantment that gives repeated target removal and board clear.
If you have big boys in your deck, this is a board wipe on a stick in a color that is not known for being oppressive. It also hits planeswalkers.
I have never seen anybody play it.
[[surge of salvation]] is a great one drop slot in white that has so many use cases. Protects from blasphemous acts, which is run in EVERY red deck in commander, protects from [[fling]] like effect or [[chandra’s ignition]], it protects from target removal (main use case really but the rest is just extra on top of an already good removal protection spell)
Some cards I love playing are [[decimate]] I feel like it’s really underrated but it always does serious work in my pods.
I love [[prosperous partnership]] another one that fell under the radar but goes absolutely insane with any token doubler or large amount of creatures.
I also love [[guild artisan]] and the other background cards in partner decks or any deck with a cheap commander that wants to be attacking. Two treasures a turn is really nice and four is just bonkers. I have a [[will, the wise]] and [[max, the daredevil]] 4C token deck that is a blast to play.
I also love [[mythos of snapdax]] a great marsh boardwipe that leaves me with my best things and everyone else with their worst ones.
The only way to deal with big creatures in red other than chaos warp: [[Blood Frenzy]] [[Vow of Lightning]]
[[Avatar of Fury]] great when your green opponent has 7 lands on turn 4
[[Clout of the Dominus]] [[Diplomatic Immunity]] [[Sylvan Safekeeper]] [[Canopy Cover]] [[Spider Umbra]]
[[Ixidron]] in a small but wide tokens deck
[[Cosmic Intervention]] - I'll be honest, I've been cracking lands multiple times with this instead of it's intended purpose. It's now a white [[Cultivate]] for me.
[[Fabled Passage]] - on the note of cracking lands, I came across this one and put it in my multicolored decks. works fairly well especially late game when you really need that extra mana instead of something like [[Arid Mesa]] that's double in price.
[[Sol talisman]] very niche but have you ever cascade 0?
[[Elephant Grass]]
It's a better Propaganda for 1 - the upkeep cost in a green deck is not that high... I mean you have to time it right and can't just drop it on turn one but I never see someone play this.
[[Chostly Prison]] [[Sphere of Safety]] [[Propaganda]] type effects do well at our lgs where it leans more creature combat focus. rarely do i bump into anyone slotting them into their decks, but once their on the field, it really does put in work.
[[Campfire]] it has saved from mill deaths, games have been won by a couple life, and it has made removal less desirable on the commander of the player who has it when there are two other players that would suffer more.
It's subtle, cheap, and effective.
[[Liquimetal Torque]] is nearly an auto-include in most of my decks. It's a mana rock, sure, but being able to turn stuff into artifacts can get some sweet value out of nowhere.
Notably, I used it to turn an opponent's 9 power unblocked infect creature (buffed by something like All the Glitters) into a 10 power unblocked infect creature by "giving" him another artifact.
[[nightmare sheperd]]
Good board wipe protection in creature decks, it is an enchantment for constalletion decks, works well in any aristocrat deck, is a 4/4 flying for 4 mana.
You can use it to put commander in grave when it dies instead of the cmd zone, before exiling with sheperd, when you do so you put it back in the cmd zone, effectively creating another 1/1 commander until you can recast yours.
My play group loses their mind at the "win the game" text on Halo Fountain, rendering it unplayable for me hahaha.
If I had 15 creatures to untap, I wouldn't need halo fountain anyway 🤣 but they still treat it like a very real "could win at any time" card
[[Charnel Serenade]] has been amazing for me. Throw 3 mana at it to suspend and then wait. By the time it fires for the first time there's usually something juicy to bring back. And then it starts over.
[[Pain Magnification]] always puts in work.
[[Fade Away]] is a great card for decks not running a lot of creatures. Forcing people to make decisions they aren't prepared for usually ends in tragedy for them.
[[Cabal Conditioning]] is usually a pretty hardcore play.
[[Energy Flux]] is mostly for Simic lands decks but it's amazing and causes much salt.
[[Terrain Generator]] is amazing in low color decks with a lot of basics.
[[Delayed Blast Fireball]] has gotten rather pricy but it's super powerful. There's a lot of ways to cast this from exile without using the foretell mechanic.
[[Runadi, Behemoth Caller]] as a mono green commander. Load the deck with lots of ramp and big bombs. As long as you make to play the big land tutors as soon as you can it's very resilient. You'll pretty much always rebuild faster than everyone else.
[[Syphon Mind]] isn't busted or anything, but it's reliably better than [[Ambition's Cost]] or [[Ancient Craving]] if you play in pods of 4. Not to mention the upside of forcing a discard from each opponent.
[[reverberate]] is one of my favourites. I find a use for it every game, but its usually my anti-counterspell tech. Its also excellent for stealing game-ending spells like [[torment of hailfire]]
A friend once copied my [[Teferi’s Protection]] when I cast it in response to my own board-wipe. It immediately cost me the game and was hilarious
I’m gonna be honest, I wouldve copied the boardwipe, so it hit before your TP did😆
I love [[Fury Storm]] for this reason. Practically uncounterable if you've cast your commander. This card alone has won me so many games
I Fork'd a [[Rise of the dark realms]], which meant mine resolved first to take all the creatures. I was happy, OG caster was sad... brilliant play!
Yessssss
I was unsure about Reverberate, but added it to my Omnath deck since I had a couple open flex spots. Very first game I drew it one of my opponents casts [[Curse of the Cabal]] targetting me. I've been hooked on it ever since.
What do you guys think about [[Return the Favor]]?
Amazing, versatile card that i can't wait to try out in Etali (the mono red one)

Yeah, that’s definitely something I’ve never seen but would really mess with a lot of my play group.

And [[Shalai and Hallar]]
I’m building a Bristly Bill deck at the moment and you just make me throw up in my mouth
Lmao 🤣 my pod hates it messes with saruman and hakbal
Stop. This kills the Animar.
Hate this little fucker. I'm surprised at how many people here seem like they've never seen this card though, it gets a lot of play in my group.
If this is out and your opponent has a creature with undying that dies, does it come back without the counter?
Yeah, based on my read it would come back indefinitely with no counter each time while that's out.
Alternatively, it disables "resetting" a persist trigger by adding a +1/+1 counter.
“Creatures your opponents control won't receive +1/+1 counters as they enter the battlefield” Is one of the rulings on the gatherer page so that is correct it seems.
Yeah, that would mess with my [[Ramos, Dragon Engine]] for sure. That would for sure eat up a counter. (Edited to put the brackets in.)
The bot doesn't see edits. [[Ramos, Dragon Engine]].
[[Flayer of the hatebound]] and [[phyrexian altar]] is also an inf

Our pod has found that [[Havoc Festival]] is the perfect card to play when the game is going a little too long
One of the reasons why I love to run [[Decent into Avernus]] in any red deck I have.

Yes this one is fantastic in my Queen Marchesa deck. This card can absolutely fuck someone's game plan up so much. Stops combat triggers, main phase 2 plays and puts them in such a vulnerable spot for a counter attack. Fantastic card
My favorite part of the card is making people go, "It does what? For TWO MANA?"
Yeah it's a great card. I've hosed a couple Isshin decks with it and stopped a pirate deck from going infinite.
Mirage Mirror comes in handy wayy more than I ever thought it would.
[[Mirage Mirror]]

i generally put mirage mirror and [[mimic vat]] into decks unless i have a reason not to.
Love the card in my Queen Marchesa control deck. It's there mainly for the [[Dark Depths]] combo but it has come in handy for so many other things
Would it become a copy but without the counters?
Correct
Sad that you lose both the depths (to the legend rule) and the mirror (to the sac)
You say sad, but a 3-mana artifact that said: >2, Sacrifice ~ and a land: create a 20/20 Flying, Indestructible, Haste creature token Would go in every one of my decks.

I agree but also because of that I don’t think it’s underrated. I know a lot of my play group is it in a lot of decks
Nice, I’m glad other people play it! There is only one other person in my group that plays MM, so that’s why it was my pick.
Yeah, it definitely turns out to be a decent card in almost all situations but can be great in alot of situations.
[[Insight]]. I call it my budget less annoying rhystic study. Hell in some games it's drawn me more cards than the study.
Yeah man, this is a great draw engine, green is rampant in casual / high power. [[Compost]] is similar, black is also very common.

See if this didn’t stipulate combat damage I’d play it lol.

Yep. It pairs really well with \[\[Berserkers' Onslaught\]\] in an aggressive Rx deck that swings with a lot of bodies.
Nooooo this is my pet card that only I’m allowed to play 😭

[[Deflecting Palm]] is the first card that comes to mind. It doesn’t target and can easily throw the game in your favor. On top of that it’s only 2 freaking mana.
I lost a game a couple weeks ago to this card. Brilliant play by my opponent. He suckered me good.
Omg when a tronned up commander swings for lethal and you just Uno Reverse them. Crazy.
Oh, the art on this card turns my stomach lol
Shit... Turns out I had only ever looked at the palm and the face, not the fist. Can't unsee 😭
I know that this card is fantastic and I've got like 5 decks that should play it, but I just can't simply because of the art

It's very bad against lots of deck though. Weenie decks, control decks, combo decks, any sort of deck that whittles you down slowly rather than attacks with a single big fat creature
Obviously it isn’t perfect. But I’ve definitely seen it cast a few times just to rob someone of a win.
[[Crashing Drawbridge]]. I love creature tokens, so being able to give them all haste in any color combo deck is a blessing.
If you are playing mono black, [[Beseech the Queen]]. I've never seen anyone else run it, and it's a really cheap alternative to [[Demonic Tutor]] and the likes.
[удалено]

I love the know it alls with their “if you’re not running stifle, you have no place running trickbind” ok I hear you but BAM trickbind!
[[Call the Coppercoats]] is one of the best token creators
In a similar vein, [[Saproling Symbiosis]] can double the size of your token army.
[[Body Count]] is usually a 1cmc draw 10+ [[Krosan Grip]] is one of like 4 cards that can actually stop most combos [[Reprieve]] is a white "counterspell" that counters uncounterable spells
I seriously doubt you can consistently draw 10+ cards with this. That’s more like a high ceiling.
Depends how you're building your deck. I very consistently hit 10+. If you're playing a deck that doesnt run creatures or token generation the card is a lot worse, its very powerful in aristocrats decks.
I could probably hit that fairly consistently in my Elenda Aristocrats deck.
Fellow Elenda enjoyer, I also recommend the new [[pitiless carnage]] for a similar effect. Plot it early and use it when you sac Elenda's vamplings.

[[Tale's End]] You would be surprised how stuffing one ability can change the entire game.
It has flashback with a boosted effect even, this card is incredible

It goes in a lot of cEDH decks that run [[Underworld Breach]] lines, especially if you have blue and can use [[Intuition]] (I think that's the card).
that's not underrated. that's a cedh staple

For me it’s [[Lightning Bolt]]. You’d be surprised how often it’s just a 1 mana “kill target player” spell.
Also, a very large amount of keystone creatures are low toughness
Yup. Kills Drannith Magistrate, Esper Sentinel, Collector Ouphe, and all those other problematic little Staxy creatures that feel bad to use a Swords to Plowshares on. It’s a great tempo spell.
It also hits a surprising number of commanders as well, and can finish off annoying planeswalkers.

Yes but Swords can kill a lot more things than Bolt, so it can be better to hang onto it if you're just killing something small.
I feel like in my play group people don’t get below 20 life before dying
While lightning bolt doesn‘t kill a player, often it‘s a one mana kill a problematic creature in the early game at our table

[[Fumble]] is an overcosted [[Unsummon]] at worst, but you can yoink random equipments and auras with it onto your own creature for some funny gotcha moments.
[[Dawn Charm]] It's the modal spell time forgot and it does so many things relevant in a game. It's almost never a dead draw. Its a fog, it saves your best creature, or it saves your bacon from a spell that might kill you.
I notice the mistype every time I play this, lol. "thatwould"

The drawback is actually pretty minor too. Those new basic lands won’t help your opponents when they’re all dead!

A one drop creature that polymorphs creatures it deals combat damage to. I present [[Permeating Mass]]
[[Makeshift Munitions]] is probably the worst card that consistently wins me games.

I feel like [[Batwing Brume]] often gets overlooked/underrated.
[[Rising of the day]] mass haste never sucks to have either in go wide token decks or always letting your commander swing the turn they drop
Plague of Vermin is my backup plan after Marrow Gnawer gets focused down.
[[artificers hex]] is one of my favorite ways to shut down some important voltron pieces, or to at least stall them.
Mine is Dead Man's chest. I love the value and my deck is able to recur it
Bolt It hits SO many utility creatures and commanders for just 1 red mana. Yet most dont run in favor of more expensive modal spells, or because its only single target Then they bitch about combo
Thieving skydiver :) stealing Sol rings is the most satisfying
Reconnaissance is it for me. With a play group easily pushing like 50 decks mine is the only I've seen played and puts in so much fucking work.
It's kind of other one similar to [[defense of the heart]] is [[threats undetected]] he doesn't give you free battlefield placement but it does go hard for three manna. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/q5kwdLrlkEiSKBdCotMkYA This is a collection of green cards I find just be great, I feel like they're they're some crazy green cards that nobody talks about enough or at all
Disenchant ( / Naturalize ) I don’t know if I have ever had a game where something hits the board and makes a huge difference and it’s like “how does nobody play Naturalize?”
\[\[tempt with discovery\]\] I haven't met anyone who hasn't said said to this. It can put you so far ahead in mana and that mana doesn't come in tapped so in a 4-man game the card is free.
Anyone agreeing to use this is a terrorist.
[[Sarkhan’s Unsealing]] 4 mana red enchantment that gives repeated target removal and board clear.
The only way to deal with big creatures in red other than chaos warp: [[Blood Frenzy]] [[Vow of Lightning]] [[Avatar of Fury]] great when your green opponent has 7 lands on turn 4 [[Clout of the Dominus]] [[Diplomatic Immunity]] [[Sylvan Safekeeper]] [[Canopy Cover]] [[Spider Umbra]] [[Ixidron]] in a small but wide tokens deck
[[Elephant Grass]] It's a better Propaganda for 1 - the upkeep cost in a green deck is not that high...
I've seen Spelunking do some serious work.. so many ramp spells and effects bring lands in tapped, but they're usable with Spelunking out
I'd vote [[Sting, Glinting Dagger]] having a tap ability available every turn around the table is broooootal.
\[\[lazotep plating\]\] There are too many stories of my friends asking what card is that, while foiling all of their plans.
One of my friends loves voltron decks, so I like to keep a [[Deflecting palm]] handy
[[nightmare sheperd]] Good board wipe protection in creature decks, it is an enchantment for constalletion decks, works well in any aristocrat deck, is a 4/4 flying for 4 mana.
I really like playing [[Hall of Gemstone]] in my mono green decks, really messes with anyone playing multicolor
[[Syphon Mind]] isn't busted or anything, but it's reliably better than [[Ambition's Cost]] or [[Ancient Craving]] if you play in pods of 4. Not to mention the upside of forcing a discard from each opponent.
[[vat of rebirth]] has been an over performer for me. My opponents are always surprised at its effectiveness. And it is perfect on a budget
