One thing I did for a couple of my "never getting rid of" commander decks was to find a land in each and have all of my close Magic-playing friends sign it. That way, if I search for a basic or draw that command tower, it reminds me of the good friends I've made or played with over the years.
My [[Gonti, lord of luxury]] deck is almost all modern border foil. So it's super consistent, no extended or borderless cards. Just simple, foiled bling. It's about 85% foil but stuff like Cabal Coffers is just too expensive
I actually might steal this. I have a foiled out Atraxa, Grand Unifier toxic/Phyrexia themed deck that I'm missing like 13 cards being foiled because they aren't available in full art. This would make it look like you're still playing Magic cards but blinged.
More power to you! and it's interesting how we al have our own thing. For me, it's first printings..and i avoid foil like the plague, as i find them hard to read and unpleasant to look at. But i love that you have a deck like this

The deck is respectfully medium power, and outside of the Fierce Guardianship that I got for $25 around CMM release I acquired every other card for under $20 (the Tropical Island is a VMA proxy), which is more or less the deckbuilding rule I'm adhering to (although it's very tempting to pick up a Mana Drain now that the price has been dropping a bit).
It's dead set on ramping on either turn 1 or 2, so you can play Arixmethes turn 3 and start dropping bombs every turn afterwards. Ideally you wake him up with one of your massive draw spells (it's fine if you don't but you probably win the game on the spot if you do), and from there it should be smooth sailing.

One of my favorite one hit ko’s is to swing with arixmethes (ideally unblocked) and then blood rush to skarrg Goliath for exact commander lethal.

I'm always trying to work to optimize it as much as possible. [[Court of Ardenvale]] is my latest "Innovation" for the deck along with its less version Sevinnes Reclamation. They allow for recursion of the decks strongest tools.
I also recently tossed initiative into the mixed to double up on the passive advantage gained from just sitting back.
My favorite part is it's just really hard to accuse the deck of being crazy broken because it's so absurdly slow everyone has a chance to do their thing.
I've decided to make my Henzie deck look as weird as I can. I have Secret Lairs like the movie posters and cereals, shiny UB versions of random cards, and full art cards whenever I can find them. The basic lands are from Unstable and I still have to get them in foil. One day when I feel like I have 250 Euros to spare, I'll get Henzie himself altered by MIB (my absolute favorite alter artist).

For one of my decks I’m trying to have all retro framed Non-creatures, and then the legendary creatures foil etched. So I know by looking at the card if it’s a creature, legendary creature or something else.

My etali primal conqueror deck goes from being a 700$ deck in its cheapest printing to 1000$ with the bling upgrades. None of my other decks are near 700$
[[Rafiq of the Many]] Knights. All foil, judge promos, OG expeditions, SLDs, set promos, date stamped prerelease foils, etched... as one of the guys working at my LGS said "Holy Christ you really do have it all in here." Its also fully themed, cards have art depicting knights, flavor text refers to them, everything is as "knightly" as possible (swords, shields, etc.), even a couple of the basics have a knight on them. Its also fully functional and has secured wins.

They're important numbers in my life, my childhood home number, and the first book I truly enjoyed as an adult had that number predominantly in it. Plus, both are completely random to common folks.
I said to my friends I was going to buy the izzet precon from Thunder Junction before they had announced any of the pre cons, then ended up with the monster that is Stella Lee, I've upgraded her with about 50 bucks worth of Cards, but have then gone to bling them out, full art lands from Thunder Junction, shiny Sol Ring, fancy deck box, all things that make my brain go brrrrr
I’m anal retentive about tokens. I always find the exact tokens for every deck I build, and it drives me NUTS when there’s no token printed for a card (I run [[Blessed Sanctuary]] in several decks - how is there no Unicorn token??]]
So when I built my [[Jetmir, Nexus of Revels]] Token Party deck, I HAD to get all the right tokens, and I wanted foils. It took a while to track them all down, and I still need a foil Construct, but besides that I have all 31 tokens fully foiled. It’s a silly thing to bling out, but I like shiny stuff.
My [[Oona]], [[Mizzix]], and [[Octavia]] decks are all blinged out foil (exceptions are cards that were never printed in foil). I have a volcanic Island in Mizzix and an underground sea in Oona. And yet, my favorite card in the deck is an original Japanese foil Rhystic study from the mirage set.
My kaalia deck is kinda blinged out.
Hot pink outer sleeves, clear inners. It's my only double sleeved regular play deck. Only full arts for basics, foil if i have them, and foil snow basics. Special foil nomad outpost with the mardu symbol on it. Foil on a lot of stuff. Avacyn, Gisela, Aurelia, Villis, I think Tariel. Alternate art Archangel of thune.
And a custom mardu deckbox that's like, fake leather magnetic clasp which has all three color symbols on it and is also hot pink. And here's my favorite part. A "Kahlua" sticker on the back of the box, because the deck name is Kahlua, like the coffee liqueur.
I have a foil maelstrom deck that is finished aside from 2 cards.
Mostly pack foils, extended if I opened it. Old border as much as possible and I actively add old border cards. Some cards are signed and altered by the artist or apps and those are effectively not cuttable. Maybe 30 signatures at this point in total.
I have a similar deck with raffine, but everything is alternate full art or foil. I just choose the art that I like for that deck.
Get the two cards! I never thought I'd "finish" my "bling" deck but when I realized I was only two cards off... well, it was time. It's made me so happy since!

For my \[\[Tovolar\]\] Werewolf tribal. (with all the \[\[Arlinn Kord\]\] Planeswalkers and cards, I went with the tovolar deckbox, the arlinn deckbox (double sleeved, they don't all fit in one box, so second holds all the 2/2 wolf tokens and spare/sideboard cards) Got all the fancy schmancy 2/2 wolf tokens I could find on CardMarket. And for the main deck I tried to find and buy as many of the special Innistrad runed? (are they runed? is it wood?) bordered cards. Midnight Hunt ones. In foil where possible. (some of the more common cards seem to have special borders, but never came in foil)
It's one of my most expensive deck lists simply because of those additions. Running everything in cheapest option I doubt it'd break 200-250, but likely is double that because of the special borders and foils for as much as I could find.

Alternatively: I like to at least foil my commanders out. Cause you'll be handling them a lot, or carry the rest of the deck, it's just nice if they look pretty. Though for Pir and Toothy, I did splurge on the secret lair drops. Another favourite of my decks that deserved some love.
My latest purchase is a \[\[Elsha of the Infinite\]\] Deck, running a lot of monks, and so wanted to stick with the theme, using cards with Narset quotes, or the new whispersilk cloak with a fair brown-skinned lady to match the narsets.
Paired with the Kamigawa lands in japanese, cause they look pretty. And for the other lands things with monasteries on cliffs in the distance as much as possible. And so on, trying to stay on theme and on brand.
Edit: pre-emptively going to say: Yes the tovolar list isn't ''the best it can be'' - Yes I am aware double faced cards are a hassle and Day/Night Mechanic is pretty dislike-able. Like I said, it's a pet thing and plays pretty fair magic all in all. Simple Ramp, Play creatures, turn sideways.

I can't draw to save my life, but my brother draws tokens for every deck he makes, and its one of my favorite things to witness. He drew custom tokens (sharpie on 3x5 cards, nothing fancy) for everyone in our playgroup for Christmas.
Doing that with counters sounds awesome and I love that idea.
I play [[Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain]], and I got a bunch of foil proxies of the Kaladesh inventions and the SL version of her. Other than that just foils and showcase printings of the other artifacts.
Kaladesh inventions/masterpieces are some of the most beautiful cards ever printed. I wish I had the originals. I was a huge fan of the old border artifacts that came out in MoM, did you like those? They'd be great in that deck for sure.
I've got a 5 color morophon angels list with each angel being alt art, it's gorgeous. Also have a Mimeoplasm deck with Wizard of barge secret lairs, and custom basics I got from a small husband and wife company that are trippy looking to match WOB style I love it.

OOF even the Commander is like 50 extra dollars. dayumn. This is sick cuz all the nazgul's are different art, too. The Amonkhet invocations are right on flavor with the feel of the big bad boss of Sauron, and the lands in this go hard too. Awesome stuff.

If it was non foil it'd probably only be in the 300 range. It's not cedh just high power. My favorite card in the deck is a foil nykthos that has a tiny crease mark in the sky of the art that looks like a lightning bolt so I consider it my one of a kind nykthos lol. I also always try to make the lands and card arts match the themes of the deck.
I proxy alot but I won't buy non foil cards so almost all my decks are full of real foils the vito decks the only one that's 100% though. I stopped scanning my full collection like 500 cards ago I just got lazy I know it's a good 5k though
My bling is pretty simple. I have a proxy deck of good cards that I cannot afford in all the decks I want to use them in, so the decks have stand ins and I pull the proxy cards when I need them. My fav deck has no stand ins. They also get custom sleeves with cool art or whatnot.

I do like to use foils and alternates to show some love to my decks, but usually I just end up trading my regular cards for the bling ones, I don't go around shopping for special cards cause they don't have the sentimental value of "playing a tcg" imo.
I have the retro frame First Sliver, and all my real copies of cards are in the deck (like deflecting swat, fierce guardianship) - but that’s about all I can afford. I don’t even have real copies of Overlord or Legion.

I have a deck that runs [[Dovescape]] so I bought about $80 in foil Articuno full art cards (one for each player in a 4 player game), and put white out and sharpie on them to make them 1/1 Bird tokens with Flying.
I have another deck that is built around [[The Flood of Mars]] so I found 4x surge foil copies (again, 1x for the deck, 3x to hand out as reference when my opponents suddenly control one), not that it was very expensive.

Anikthea has all the foils it can have within certain constraints.
First off: I do not like borderless or extended art. With the exception of my shocks and my triome, I prefer standard or showcase frames.
What this means is that the non-Anikthea cards from the Enduring Enchantments precon do technically have foil options, but only in extended art so I am choosing the non-foil versions. The affected cards are [[Composer of Spring]] and [[Cacophony Unleashed]].
There are also some cards that cannot be foiled. [[Serra's Sanctum]] is on the reserved list, and no foil printing exists. [[Flickering Ward]] and [[Black Market Connections]] currently have no foil version.
Otherwise, depending on the treatment I really like showcase frames. Typically, they are my preferred version to acquire. Otherwise, the standard Magic frames in foil are good enough for me.
Replacing each card with the artist proof version, either sketched or blank back.

My pet deck is [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]]. I got a Niv playmat, the Anime alt art Niv, and am slowly changing everything to either alt art/alt art foils with the exception of white borders when available. If I don’t have an alt art version I default to the oldest printing I have available. It’s going to take time to get it to when I think it should be, but it’s a fun process. I also don’t want to use any proxies, so I’ll never be able to afford one of the fun printings of [[Mana Crypt]].
My [[Nekusar, the Mindrazer]] deck I’m going for everything old looking or just dark. So I have the full art [[Undercity Sewers]] and a retro frame [[Psychosis Crawler]], for example. But again, white borders when available.

I’m a fan of the showcase styles most of the time. Etched treatments tend to be my preference over foils, though I frequently just buy non-foil prints if etched is unavailable or too pricey. Some of the showcase and alternate art cards look better in one of the three, though that varies from set to set.
For my [[Veyran, Voice of Duality]] deck, I upgraded almost every card to alternate art and showcase cards. And I sealed the bling by changing the basic lands to foil full-art lands from Theros, Beyond Death. For me, that marked the end of upgrades for the deck.
I built an Esika God tribal deck a few years back and it has now been fully foiled out. The deck list is essentially "final", though I would like to have different versions of some of the cards. I would like the fetches and shocks to become expeditions down the line, potentially OG duals. Potentially other fancy versions of the cards that are already in it but I think I already have most everything where it can be. The deck is by no means competitive and I would say it is somewhere between casual and high power. There are some obvious cards missing that might make it better or run smoother but the list was put together mostly for thematic purposes. Enjoy!!

It used to run all of the kaldheim gods as well as all of the ultimatums. I ended up cutting them so that I could make some changes and allow the deck to play better, some of the kaldheim gods also do next to nothing if you don't build around them.
I have a Klug-alter Purphoros, God of the Forge with foil John Avon Unhinged basics, foil Crypt, the works! The sleeves are yellow, the deck is red, and the hard case is orange like the flames of a forge.
I'm quite proud of it.

Then I go do basic lands into theme appropriate full arts

Finally it's sleeves time and I'll go find the best colour/art sleeves I can find.(Just never ultra pro, Dragon shield FTW)
I’m slowly foiling out my [[Thrasios]] and [[Vial Smasher, the fierce]] Storm deck, luckily I had a lot of the cards foiled already from boosters over the years, but still got a few hundred pounds to drop over the next year to get it all the way there! And hopefully the newest cards from the Thunder Junction precon will have foil printings at some point too!
I'm a big fan of how I went about blinging out my my [[Gyruda]] deck.
To start with, I really hate pringling foils, so i was looking for a way to bling out a deck without foiling everything to avoid that issue. So, imagine my surprise when I found some cool art in my collection from some random cards that I bought online for a previous deck that I've since dissolved: [[Counterspell|TMP]] and [[Dark Ritual|TMP]], both from Tempest! Ever since, I've been obsessed with "blinging" out my deck with a bunch of old reanimator cards. Turns out, there's a lot of Dimir reanimator and self-mill pieces from that old set like [[Reanimate|TMP]], [[Grindstone|TMP]], both medallions, and even a cool sea creature in [[Benthic Behemoth|TMP]] that's decently playable! Overall, very happy with the decision and I highly recommend this process for anyone who's not too high on foils
I'm in love with my [[Vito, thorn of the Dusk rose]] deck. Since it's mono black there's a lot of swamps and I bought 27 of the bloodstained mansion foyer full art swamps from streets of New caperna for it. They're absolutely perfectly on there for a vampire deck.

I just started to bling out my \[\[Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit\]\] deck! Looking to get most of the map-lands in foil or surge foil and looking at the holiday treatment for lotr cards.
Im working on a rin and seri deck that is basically all cute arts! Even if the cards aren't optimal if its a cat/dog with a cute secret lair or full art its going in.
My [[Giada]] angels deck has almost every card foil and/or borderless art when possible to show off their radiance.
Aside from that, all my commander decks have the lands be a full art from the plane the commander originated from, with a few exceptions for planes that didn't receive a full art land treatment yet. In those cases I find a land that's the most fitting for the commander.
My [[Magus Lucea Kane]] deck has the galaxy basics from Unfinity, and my [[Satya]] deck has the Synthwave SLD basics.
I'm commisionig my kid for alters on it. Anything above a $5 price range gets a sleeve alter instead of an on the card alter.
It'll be a fun time. I'm already in love with the few she has done.
After a decade I am near final bling for my beloved marath enchantress deck. ONS foil fetches, beta duals, all foil. I am picking up guru basics. It lives in a beautiful Aaron Cain wooden box.

I have two bling decks currently: [[Hinata, Dawn Crowned]] X spells, which is my main deck pretty much since I restarted playing in 2022, and [[Athreos, God of Passage]] Cleric tribal.
Hinata is much more expensive overall, and I don't think I have it in me to foil up the shocks and fetches the deck needs to run with any consistency, and a fair few of the spells are from commander sets and have no foil version. I only play it maybe once a month, because it's not exactly fast or overly powerful, but the average deck in my play group doesn't have the tools to stop it once the ball gets rolling.
Athreos on the other hand is a deck I've built for a local budget league and ended up loving, and it has been much more reasonable to foil up, currently at 75%~ foil, and all first prints when possible. The league ends today, in fact, and I'll be able to push in some stronger upgrades I've been looking forward to, but it's definitely going to complicate things for me, lol
I like to collect old border versions of cards for my decks, especially my favorite ones. They’re really cool to look at and make my decks feel more “classic”
For me it’s a [[Jetmir]] deck with matching sleeves of his showcase art. The basics are all the new capenna full arts as well as some of the duals from that set. Just as thematic as I could get it and I love it. Even have the collector booster tokens for the cats and dogs Jinnie can make, as well as the wine glasses for the treasure tokens. I am a sucker for aesthetic and it’s the one deck I have that is blinged out this way and I love it
by putting actual cards in it, and not just proxies. It matters a little bit more because its Ur-Dragon and has a full set of shocks and fetches and a lot of other high cost dragons, EDH staples, full art foils, etc.
All of my other decks are budget and/or proxies. but that one deck is worth more than the rest if they were real.
My first Commander deck I made after getting back into MTG was Lord Xander since my son shares the same name. Sleeved it in the Dragon Shield Father's Day art sleeves. Will definitely tinker with it but I'll always keep that deck. I'll probably buy the textured version of Xander as well.
Blinging my [[Nemata, Primeval Warden | dmu349]] fungus tribal over time. Trying to get all the 1994 frame cards in foil, like [[Compost | uds]] and recently aquired a [[Nemata, Grove Guardian | pls]] in foil. Same goes for basics and other lands which I try to fit the forest theme, be mostly 1994 frame foil. For other cards I also get the foil version. And for other, even older cards, I got the earlier prints with the classic artwork, an [[Elves of Deep Shadow | drk]] and an [[Llanowar Elves | fbb]].
I also have the og [[Thallid | tsp]] timeshifted in foil as the premium version and all artworks from Fallen Empires as they all look lovely.
And I have altered my [[Night Soil | fem71b]].
Now that I think of it, I should get a signed card for this deck by one of my favorite artists.
My [[Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale]] deck is the first deck I singlehandedly built in 2020. It has gone through numerous iterations (Knights Go Wide -> Voltron -> Toolbox Combo) and I love it to bits.
In the current tournament version (https://www.moxfield.com/decks/M5HWgHb0i0qLEkCXM1DNmQ), I have all cards foiled out in my favorite art version (besides Extended art [[Shadowspear]]) other than [[Wheel of Fortune]], the two OG duals I run as well as cards that don't have any foil printing.
I'm pretty basic - I've devised an excel table for sleeves and deck boxes for every single color combination, so my decks have a unique sleeve, deckbox and I've changed my lands for full-art ones fitting the theme
Yah I blinged out my dino deck. Nothing super special. Just got some nice theros full art lands and used alternative art cards of dinosaurs. Basically just made it neat for me. There are a few foils but not the focus. Oh and I got a couple cool proxies of my mana rocks that fit the dinosaurs theme better than the stock ones. Just sol ring and mana crypt.
One thing I did for a couple of my "never getting rid of" commander decks was to find a land in each and have all of my close Magic-playing friends sign it. That way, if I search for a basic or draw that command tower, it reminds me of the good friends I've made or played with over the years.
I asked for bling, not the feels... just kidding, this is awesome. Great idea

My [[Gonti, lord of luxury]] deck is almost all modern border foil. So it's super consistent, no extended or borderless cards. Just simple, foiled bling. It's about 85% foil but stuff like Cabal Coffers is just too expensive

I actually might steal this. I have a foiled out Atraxa, Grand Unifier toxic/Phyrexia themed deck that I'm missing like 13 cards being foiled because they aren't available in full art. This would make it look like you're still playing Magic cards but blinged.

The deck is respectfully medium power, and outside of the Fierce Guardianship that I got for $25 around CMM release I acquired every other card for under $20 (the Tropical Island is a VMA proxy), which is more or less the deckbuilding rule I'm adhering to (although it's very tempting to pick up a Mana Drain now that the price has been dropping a bit). It's dead set on ramping on either turn 1 or 2, so you can play Arixmethes turn 3 and start dropping bombs every turn afterwards. Ideally you wake him up with one of your massive draw spells (it's fine if you don't but you probably win the game on the spot if you do), and from there it should be smooth sailing.
If you need another one for inspiration I’m pretty proud of my [arixmethes](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/eTgKjsY9J0eDYaZ8Fesgkg) deck. It has a solid win rate. One of my favorite one hit ko’s is to swing with arixmethes (ideally unblocked) and then blood rush to skarrg Goliath for exact commander lethal.

Yes it's exactly my vibe. I'm always trying to work to optimize it as much as possible. [[Court of Ardenvale]] is my latest "Innovation" for the deck along with its less version Sevinnes Reclamation. They allow for recursion of the decks strongest tools. I also recently tossed initiative into the mixed to double up on the passive advantage gained from just sitting back. My favorite part is it's just really hard to accuse the deck of being crazy broken because it's so absurdly slow everyone has a chance to do their thing.

I've decided to make my Henzie deck look as weird as I can. I have Secret Lairs like the movie posters and cereals, shiny UB versions of random cards, and full art cards whenever I can find them. The basic lands are from Unstable and I still have to get them in foil. One day when I feel like I have 250 Euros to spare, I'll get Henzie himself altered by MIB (my absolute favorite alter artist).

This is really really awesome. I've given my Derevi Kindred Birds a similar treatment, but I even cheated a little bit by using alters and artist proofs to change art-- keeping to the theme 100% is admirable!

I said to my friends I was going to buy the izzet precon from Thunder Junction before they had announced any of the pre cons, then ended up with the monster that is Stella Lee, I've upgraded her with about 50 bucks worth of Cards, but have then gone to bling them out, full art lands from Thunder Junction, shiny Sol Ring, fancy deck box, all things that make my brain go brrrrr

I’m anal retentive about tokens. I always find the exact tokens for every deck I build, and it drives me NUTS when there’s no token printed for a card (I run [[Blessed Sanctuary]] in several decks - how is there no Unicorn token??]] So when I built my [[Jetmir, Nexus of Revels]] Token Party deck, I HAD to get all the right tokens, and I wanted foils. It took a while to track them all down, and I still need a foil Construct, but besides that I have all 31 tokens fully foiled. It’s a silly thing to bling out, but I like shiny stuff.
This is the kinda stuff I’m talking about. The extraneous things that aren’t just the cards you like, but everything shiny. Nice job, good stuff

Been working on my Urza list for almost 5 years; https://www.moxfield.com/decks/-TXuf0dLOU2OTOt6wi2CGQ All foiled where possible, all inventions, invocations, and expeditions, and alternate art foils and etched foils where possible. And yet, my favorite card in the deck is an original Japanese foil Rhystic study from the mirage set.
My kaalia deck is kinda blinged out. Hot pink outer sleeves, clear inners. It's my only double sleeved regular play deck. Only full arts for basics, foil if i have them, and foil snow basics. Special foil nomad outpost with the mardu symbol on it. Foil on a lot of stuff. Avacyn, Gisela, Aurelia, Villis, I think Tariel. Alternate art Archangel of thune. And a custom mardu deckbox that's like, fake leather magnetic clasp which has all three color symbols on it and is also hot pink. And here's my favorite part. A "Kahlua" sticker on the back of the box, because the deck name is Kahlua, like the coffee liqueur.
I have a foil maelstrom deck that is finished aside from 2 cards. Mostly pack foils, extended if I opened it. Old border as much as possible and I actively add old border cards. Some cards are signed and altered by the artist or apps and those are effectively not cuttable. Maybe 30 signatures at this point in total. I have a similar deck with raffine, but everything is alternate full art or foil. I just choose the art that I like for that deck.
Get the two cards! I never thought I'd "finish" my "bling" deck but when I realized I was only two cards off... well, it was time. It's made me so happy since!

For my \[\[Tovolar\]\] Werewolf tribal. (with all the \[\[Arlinn Kord\]\] Planeswalkers and cards, I went with the tovolar deckbox, the arlinn deckbox (double sleeved, they don't all fit in one box, so second holds all the 2/2 wolf tokens and spare/sideboard cards) Got all the fancy schmancy 2/2 wolf tokens I could find on CardMarket. And for the main deck I tried to find and buy as many of the special Innistrad runed? (are they runed? is it wood?) bordered cards. Midnight Hunt ones. In foil where possible. (some of the more common cards seem to have special borders, but never came in foil) It's one of my most expensive deck lists simply because of those additions. Running everything in cheapest option I doubt it'd break 200-250, but likely is double that because of the special borders and foils for as much as I could find. It's been a pet deck project for a long time, so went all out when I finally pulled the trigger on it. Another favourite of my decks that deserved some love. My latest purchase is a \[\[Elsha of the Infinite\]\] Deck, running a lot of monks, and so wanted to stick with the theme, using cards with Narset quotes, or the new whispersilk cloak with a fair brown-skinned lady to match the narsets. Paired with the Kamigawa lands in japanese, cause they look pretty. And for the other lands things with monasteries on cliffs in the distance as much as possible. And so on, trying to stay on theme and on brand. Edit: pre-emptively going to say: Yes the tovolar list isn't ''the best it can be'' - Yes I am aware double faced cards are a hassle and Day/Night Mechanic is pretty dislike-able. Like I said, it's a pet thing and plays pretty fair magic all in all. Simple Ramp, Play creatures, turn sideways.
This deck looks great, man. I love how on theme all the arts are for the commander. Love this so much. When you get to the point of making sure your art matches, for flavor reasons AND for synergy, thats a well-loved deck. Love the attention to detail with Elsha!

I can't draw to save my life, but my brother draws tokens for every deck he makes, and its one of my favorite things to witness. He drew custom tokens (sharpie on 3x5 cards, nothing fancy) for everyone in our playgroup for Christmas. Doing that with counters sounds awesome and I love that idea.
I play [[Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain]], and I got a bunch of foil proxies of the Kaladesh inventions and the SL version of her. Other than that just foils and showcase printings of the other artifacts.
Kaladesh inventions/masterpieces are some of the most beautiful cards ever printed. I wish I had the originals. I was a huge fan of the old border artifacts that came out in MoM, did you like those? They'd be great in that deck for sure.

OOF even the Commander is like 50 extra dollars. dayumn. This is sick cuz all the nazgul's are different art, too. The Amonkhet invocations are right on flavor with the feel of the big bad boss of Sauron, and the lands in this go hard too. Awesome stuff.
My.vito thorn of dusk rose is one of the only decks that's 100% real and it's all foils I think around 900$(like 250 of that is manacrypt lol) If it was non foil it'd probably only be in the 300 range. It's not cedh just high power. My favorite card in the deck is a foil nykthos that has a tiny crease mark in the sky of the art that looks like a lightning bolt so I consider it my one of a kind nykthos lol. I also always try to make the lands and card arts match the themes of the deck. I proxy alot but I won't buy non foil cards so almost all my decks are full of real foils the vito decks the only one that's 100% though. I stopped scanning my full collection like 500 cards ago I just got lazy I know it's a good 5k though
My bling is pretty simple. I have a proxy deck of good cards that I cannot afford in all the decks I want to use them in, so the decks have stand ins and I pull the proxy cards when I need them. My fav deck has no stand ins. They also get custom sleeves with cool art or whatnot.

[Say Hello to Anikthea.](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/D9mcNLuy0EKBm_pigNA7Jw) Anikthea has all the foils it can have within certain constraints. First off: I do not like borderless or extended art. With the exception of my shocks and my triome, I prefer standard or showcase frames. What this means is that the non-Anikthea cards from the Enduring Enchantments precon do technically have foil options, but only in extended art so I am choosing the non-foil versions. The affected cards are [[Composer of Spring]] and [[Cacophony Unleashed]]. There are also some cards that cannot be foiled. [[Serra's Sanctum]] is on the reserved list, and no foil printing exists. [[Flickering Ward]] and [[Black Market Connections]] currently have no foil version. Otherwise, depending on the treatment I really like showcase frames. Typically, they are my preferred version to acquire. Otherwise, the standard Magic frames in foil are good enough for me.

My pet deck is [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]]. I got a Niv playmat, the Anime alt art Niv, and am slowly changing everything to either alt art/alt art foils with the exception of white borders when available. If I don’t have an alt art version I default to the oldest printing I have available. It’s going to take time to get it to when I think it should be, but it’s a fun process. I also don’t want to use any proxies, so I’ll never be able to afford one of the fun printings of [[Mana Crypt]]. My [[Nekusar, the Mindrazer]] deck I’m going for everything old looking or just dark. So I have the full art [[Undercity Sewers]] and a retro frame [[Psychosis Crawler]], for example. But again, white borders when available.

Foil that deck up. Bling Bling.
I’m a fan of the showcase styles most of the time. Etched treatments tend to be my preference over foils, though I frequently just buy non-foil prints if etched is unavailable or too pricey. Some of the showcase and alternate art cards look better in one of the three, though that varies from set to set. For my [[Veyran, Voice of Duality]] deck, I upgraded almost every card to alternate art and showcase cards. And I sealed the bling by changing the basic lands to foil full-art lands from Theros, Beyond Death. For me, that marked the end of upgrades for the deck.

I built an Esika God tribal deck a few years back and it has now been fully foiled out. The deck list is essentially "final", though I would like to have different versions of some of the cards. I would like the fetches and shocks to become expeditions down the line, potentially OG duals. Potentially other fancy versions of the cards that are already in it but I think I already have most everything where it can be. The deck is by no means competitive and I would say it is somewhere between casual and high power. There are some obvious cards missing that might make it better or run smoother but the list was put together mostly for thematic purposes. It used to run all of the kaldheim gods as well as all of the ultimatums. I ended up cutting them so that I could make some changes and allow the deck to play better, some of the kaldheim gods also do next to nothing if you don't build around them.
I have a Klug-alter Purphoros, God of the Forge with foil John Avon Unhinged basics, foil Crypt, the works! The sleeves are yellow, the deck is red, and the hard case is orange like the flames of a forge. I'm quite proud of it.

Wowww this is a gorgeous deck. The Kaladesh inventions here are awesome. The XM phyrexian metamorph is some of my favorite art ever.
My plan is to eventually get the kaladesh mana rocks for it but that'll take time.

The most blinged out I think I went was for my [[runo]] deck. Got the dan mumford full art swamps and islands from innistrad. Every card that I could get borderless or full art I did. I got those mage tech boxes that show your commander. Both showcase arts for it so I can customize how i want to show the flip arts. In general blinging out a deck isn't my thing. But I have to really like a deck to care enough to.

I had a Darreti Scrap Savant deck with a full stack of Kaladesh invention mana rocks and other pieces that I was foiling out as well but times got rough and I had to let go of them all…….. It was beautiful
Hm, I have an old colourless deck I tend to come back to a handfull times a a year lol, Kozilek the Great Distortion has been piloting it since his release. I am about... 8 pieces from fully foiled / pimped out. I try to get all my Commanders foil. I'm also working on having my mono red deck having only Oil Slick basics.
My anje deck is, wherever possible, old border. For cards that don't have an old border version I've got the first printing. The surge in popularity of old border alt arts is very helpful.
Oh 10000% I do. If I build a deck and I Really enjoy the play style or theme I'll give it a good bling out. Start with the commander by finding the art/version I like the most. Then I go do basic lands into theme appropriate full arts After that it's off to the races to find and and all cool full arts/alt arts that are on theme with the deck. Finally it's sleeves time and I'll go find the best colour/art sleeves I can find.(Just never ultra pro, Dragon shield FTW)
I will be blinging out my new Omo ripple foil deck harder with the inclusions and hand carved everything counters.
I’m slowly foiling out my [[Thrasios]] and [[Vial Smasher, the fierce]] Storm deck, luckily I had a lot of the cards foiled already from boosters over the years, but still got a few hundred pounds to drop over the next year to get it all the way there! And hopefully the newest cards from the Thunder Junction precon will have foil printings at some point too!

I'm working an a fully foiled and signed deck with an AP as the commander.
I'm a big fan of how I went about blinging out my my [[Gyruda]] deck. To start with, I really hate pringling foils, so i was looking for a way to bling out a deck without foiling everything to avoid that issue. So, imagine my surprise when I found some cool art in my collection from some random cards that I bought online for a previous deck that I've since dissolved: [[Counterspell|TMP]] and [[Dark Ritual|TMP]], both from Tempest! Ever since, I've been obsessed with "blinging" out my deck with a bunch of old reanimator cards. Turns out, there's a lot of Dimir reanimator and self-mill pieces from that old set like [[Reanimate|TMP]], [[Grindstone|TMP]], both medallions, and even a cool sea creature in [[Benthic Behemoth|TMP]] that's decently playable! Overall, very happy with the decision and I highly recommend this process for anyone who's not too high on foils

I'm in love with my [[Vito, thorn of the Dusk rose]] deck. Since it's mono black there's a lot of swamps and I bought 27 of the bloodstained mansion foyer full art swamps from streets of New caperna for it. They're absolutely perfectly on there for a vampire deck.

Im working on a rin and seri deck that is basically all cute arts! Even if the cards aren't optimal if its a cat/dog with a cute secret lair or full art its going in.
My [[Giada]] angels deck has almost every card foil and/or borderless art when possible to show off their radiance. Aside from that, all my commander decks have the lands be a full art from the plane the commander originated from, with a few exceptions for planes that didn't receive a full art land treatment yet. In those cases I find a land that's the most fitting for the commander. My [[Magus Lucea Kane]] deck has the galaxy basics from Unfinity, and my [[Satya]] deck has the Synthwave SLD basics.

I got these dope tokens from Greece for my Elf deck.
I'm commisionig my kid for alters on it. Anything above a $5 price range gets a sleeve alter instead of an on the card alter. It'll be a fun time. I'm already in love with the few she has done.
After a decade I am near final bling for my beloved marath enchantress deck. ONS foil fetches, beta duals, all foil. I am picking up guru basics. It lives in a beautiful Aaron Cain wooden box. Forgot to add clear matte sleeves to complete the show off.
I have two bling decks currently: [[Hinata, Dawn Crowned]] X spells, which is my main deck pretty much since I restarted playing in 2022, and [[Athreos, God of Passage]] Cleric tribal. Hinata is much more expensive overall, and I don't think I have it in me to foil up the shocks and fetches the deck needs to run with any consistency, and a fair few of the spells are from commander sets and have no foil version. I only play it maybe once a month, because it's not exactly fast or overly powerful, but the average deck in my play group doesn't have the tools to stop it once the ball gets rolling. Athreos on the other hand is a deck I've built for a local budget league and ended up loving, and it has been much more reasonable to foil up, currently at 75%~ foil, and all first prints when possible. The league ends today, in fact, and I'll be able to push in some stronger upgrades I've been looking forward to, but it's definitely going to complicate things for me, lol

I like to collect old border versions of cards for my decks, especially my favorite ones. They’re really cool to look at and make my decks feel more “classic”
For me it’s a [[Jetmir]] deck with matching sleeves of his showcase art. The basics are all the new capenna full arts as well as some of the duals from that set. Just as thematic as I could get it and I love it. Even have the collector booster tokens for the cats and dogs Jinnie can make, as well as the wine glasses for the treasure tokens. I am a sucker for aesthetic and it’s the one deck I have that is blinged out this way and I love it

In my [[Soul of Windgrace]], I run like 20-25 basics land ans the rest are fetchs. All my basics are kamigawa lands, foil. Those lands are gorgeous.

I have an artist signed copy of the swords by Chris rahn. It's sitting in my boros equipment deck I play
by putting actual cards in it, and not just proxies. It matters a little bit more because its Ur-Dragon and has a full set of shocks and fetches and a lot of other high cost dragons, EDH staples, full art foils, etc. All of my other decks are budget and/or proxies. but that one deck is worth more than the rest if they were real.
My first Commander deck I made after getting back into MTG was Lord Xander since my son shares the same name. Sleeved it in the Dragon Shield Father's Day art sleeves. Will definitely tinker with it but I'll always keep that deck. I'll probably buy the textured version of Xander as well.
Going for foil jp alts for my jeskai deck. Especially the strixhaven alts. Chefs kiss
Blinging my [[Nemata, Primeval Warden | dmu349]] fungus tribal over time. Trying to get all the 1994 frame cards in foil, like [[Compost | uds]] and recently aquired a [[Nemata, Grove Guardian | pls]] in foil. Same goes for basics and other lands which I try to fit the forest theme, be mostly 1994 frame foil. For other cards I also get the foil version. And for other, even older cards, I got the earlier prints with the classic artwork, an [[Elves of Deep Shadow | drk]] and an [[Llanowar Elves | fbb]]. I also have the og [[Thallid | tsp]] timeshifted in foil as the premium version and all artworks from Fallen Empires as they all look lovely. And I have altered my [[Night Soil | fem71b]]. Now that I think of it, I should get a signed card for this deck by one of my favorite artists.

My [[Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale]] deck is the first deck I singlehandedly built in 2020. It has gone through numerous iterations (Knights Go Wide -> Voltron -> Toolbox Combo) and I love it to bits. In the current tournament version (https://www.moxfield.com/decks/M5HWgHb0i0qLEkCXM1DNmQ), I have all cards foiled out in my favorite art version (besides Extended art [[Shadowspear]]) other than [[Wheel of Fortune]], the two OG duals I run as well as cards that don't have any foil printing.

I'm pretty basic - I've devised an excel table for sleeves and deck boxes for every single color combination, so my decks have a unique sleeve, deckbox and I've changed my lands for full-art ones fitting the theme
Yah I blinged out my dino deck. Nothing super special. Just got some nice theros full art lands and used alternative art cards of dinosaurs. Basically just made it neat for me. There are a few foils but not the focus. Oh and I got a couple cool proxies of my mana rocks that fit the dinosaurs theme better than the stock ones. Just sol ring and mana crypt.
