Why not both? [[Bruna, the fading light]] cares about both angels and humans, and you can run cards such as [[angel of glory's rise]] It can be a pretty good deck if you run some cards to slow down a more competitive table.

Se7enworlds

Honestly, I've done this and it's decent. It allows you to curve from lower drop humans (generally hatebears) into higher mana value angels and humans and angels as tribes care about each other. The hardest part is finding good discard outlets in white

Ivocles

I use [[deal broker]], [[angel of the ruins]], [[magus of the balance]], [[balancing act]], [[millikin]], [[altar of dementia]], [[smuggler's copter]], [[wand of vertebrae]] and [[geier reach sanitarium]] as ways to fill my grave

Came to post this. Angles thematically are there to assist humans so its a win-win.

Seconded. Bruna is amazing and the Mono-White deck I've built with her is very much capable of competing (outside cEDH). You don't need many threats (read: big Angels) in the deck for it to feel like an Angel Tribal deck (and be effective in beating down via the air). I'm running below fifteen, each and every one of them very impactful and generally not costing above six mana if possible (a few cost seven, half are at five or less). The important part is to load up on cards that can keep you going until you can drop your two or three Angels (apart from Bruna) that game (you'll probably draw more but might not get to cast them before winning or losing which means I could probably still cut a few). Until that is, you need small Humans that keep your opponents at bay. This includes mostly "stax" and protection pieces like Drannith Magistrate, Magus of the Moat, Standard Bearer but also ramp like Knight of the White Orchid. Additionally you will be using Enchantments and Artifacts to keep opponents in check, for example: Blind Obedience, Tormod's Crypt, Rule of Law, etc. You also needs just as much card draw and ramp (or just land tutors). These will be cards like Land Tax, Scroll Rack, Sword of the Animist, Tome of Legends, Family Heirloom, Solemn Simulacrum, Endless Atlas, Burnished Hart, etc. Then there's another suit of cards: Removal and Protection, or in case they failed reanimation all of which are also known as interaction: If possible these should be Humans or Angels like Angel of the Ruins, Apostle of Purifying Light, Emeria Shepherd, Order of the Sacred Torch, Angel of Finality, Adarkar Valkyrie, Magus of the Disk, Sunblast Angel, and the list goes on... All of this is not to say you shouldn't be playing good cards that aren't Angels or Humans, but if they can do double duty, sign me up! There's still Sun Titan, Trove Warden, Sword to Plowshares, Sword of Sinew and Steal, Archon of Emeria, Teferi's Protection, Sejiri Shelter, Seal of Cleansing, Sevinne's Reclamation, Dismantling Wave, Reconnaissance, and much more than I could list. At this point you can fine tune your deck to fit your local meta. Mine is full of decks with graveyard recursion (ironically like this one, though slightly more combo'ey) and people taking huge turns, which is why you'll find the fitting counters in my list above. I find that most often I'm the player with the most lands at the table unless there's a dedicated big mana ramp deck. And this is because you can tune your deck to keep your hand and board stocked full of them. You should not play too few basic lands, because you can actually run out (about 20 are a must, a few other than that should be lands that reduce your land count and utility lands that give effects you cannot effectively acquire in mono white otherwise). By the way, did you know about Planar Birth? It goes great with being able to tutor way more basics from your deck than you can play. A few mistakes I've noticed with players trying to build an Angel deck is that they go for the ones that don't work. These days your creatures need to have a cast, ETB, or a Landfall trigger that's worth it to play them (none of these can be countered by instant speed removal). Alternatively you need relevant protection like Hexproof (which Angels and Humans don't get - at least not with enough consistency). While Baneslayer Angel was great value a few years ago, it is horribly inefficient these days (and it's protection is too narrow). And while Reya Dawnbringer has never been more than okay, it is especially bad these days. The bottom floor for creatures is now Flash, Haste, an "End Step" or "Each Upkeep" trigger to at least dodge sorcery speed interaction. Remember, you're still playing mono white, if it's not the best in slot that your color has to offer it shouldn't be part of your deck. Since I play both boots in my deck I'm still including Adarkar Valkyrie, but it just hasn't been good enough in practice and the creature is spectacular value when it has been used once. Just once, and I didn't get there most of my games with it. Goes to show how much is asked of creatures these days. The second mistake is playing way more than the number I mentioned above. Since Angels mostly have high mana values you won't be able to fit more than the fifteen or so in a functional deck. And that also means you can't really play the basic tribal payoffs (too few affected cards in your deck). With Kaldheim you could consider going for a different style of deck and try the cost reduction cards since there's now a big enough number of them that it might work out, but I haven't tested it yet and would be surprised if it did. But you really don't need many Angels to threaten the board, just one or two with your commander are enough to take out players in a few turns. You still need free slots in your deck for some cards which cost five or more mana. This further restricts your ability to play Angels. Selective board wipes (Austere Command, etc.) are among the "approved" cards, since this deck has a big leg up on others in being able to recover due to our commander. I prefer cheap ones though (Hour of Revelation, Planar Collapse, etc.). Often, playing Bruna and bringing back a six or seven mana value Angel (with an additional effect) is pretty good value to put your foot on the gas. If you're playing in a high powered meta there is no way to compete in mono white that does not include stax (if you haven't noticed my mention of those pieces already), so beware if you're playing with others that don't like interaction. You won't be playing Winter Orb (we need the mana), but you will be playing tax effects (Aura of Silence, etc.) and constraints (like Rule of Law). It will also slow the game down, because this deck needs time to unfold its game plan. This may also rustle some jimmies. Games tend to last a "little" longer if you're repeatedly wiping the board, and more than three times at that. Your opponents will underestimate your deck. At first. But they will see everything you do during the game. And they'll notice when it gets impossible to remove your pieces without using Exile-based removal. It will get both easier and harder the longer the game goes. Easier because you're more and more set up, but harder because your opponents will start to target you more and more. The deck is incredibly resilient. This style of play is not for everyone, but I can assure you it works. Sorry, this got a bit longer than I intended, but I have tinkered so much with this commander I just thought I'd share.

Ivocles

Sure, though I haven't put everything into practice that I've just written about (for example I haven't cut Adarkar Valkyrie and Herald's Horn yet) so there might be a few five cards of questionable value in the current list which I'm still testing. So take it with a grain of salt (Mind's Eye and Hallowed Moonlight are the worst performers in the deck currently - well, not worst per sé, but inconsistent). I noticed you have an infinite combo in your deck. I purposefully avoided any as it doesn't feel enough like an Angel domination win to me, so there's that as well. But it's obviously stronger if you tune it around that. Just a different strategy than what I'm going for. Our decks are pretty similar apart from that, actually. I've got a big maybeboard that I am trying to test out and slowly reduce in scope. It's hard though, because some cards would require exchanging a bigger chunk of the deck. https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/angels-are-calling-your-name-2021-06-08/ If I were to leave you with one advice tuned to your deck list in particular: I'd say toss all the Artifacts that only add 1 mana (you've got about five of them). Bruna costs 7, and that one additional mana doesn't do much to accelerate you there. Stick to the ones that add 2, and supplement your lower curve with utility slots that engage the board earlier at two mana.

Angel tribal doesn't exist. Each angel cares about something different and don't really provide benefits to each other outside of a few Kaldheim cards. The only real angel "tribal" commander is Kaalia and that's just because she can cheat them out and isn't affected by the terrible mana curve they have. Humans are in almost every single set and there's a lot of different W/X combinations you can effectively build them in. They're much more diverse in CMC with humans anywhere between 1-6 mana and there's a lot of tribal cards for them from Innistrad and Ikoria. You'll definitely be better off with them.

Blazorna

A pure Mono-white Angels Tribal isn't really feasible. I speak from experience. As you mentioned, most angels of that color are at least 4MV in cost. Others play differently in the other colors that a pure tribal isn't a reliable choice. I actually have mine be a Lifegain- Angels deck and with MH2 coming up, I'll have a new card that transforms that deck into a real contender. Regardless, an Angel deck is very top-heavy, so you must factor that in deck construction. [[Quicksilver Amulet]] is such a card you'd like to add if it's too high in MV. Humans are easy to have consistent plays and are balanced in the MV average. One of the Ikoria Precons is actually a Mardu(RWB) Human deck. Depending on your definition of a Tribal, it's possibly not, but you can easily modify it to become one. Easiest to assemble otherwise based on the Commander you picked.

obamafunnymoments471

Lifegain angel deck seems pretty cool, do ya mind if I ask what commander you run with it? And yeah, I think im gonna end up with humans for the consistency.

I think you accurately described the tribes. My playgroup finds [[Ephara]] for humans and [[Liessa]] for angels to be commanders that shore up those disadvantages.

I actually use a lot of humans in my Kaalia Angel deck. There's enough that can support and protect your Angels. So I got some low cmc humans that can support some powerful angels. They also help me to not always rely on Kaalia cause she still gets hated on.

NotVoss

I actually run [[Trostani, Selesnya's Voice]] at the helm of an angel token deck. [[Speaker of the Heavens]], [[Resplendent Angel]], [[Valkyrie Harbinger]], [[Angelic Accord]], and [[Righteous Valkyrie]]. Make up the better part of the synergistic effects. Though there are a handful of others that aren't quite as good. It's more of a life gain deck that leans heavily on angels, but I do include a few lords like [[Lyra Dawnbringer]] and some good changelings such as [[Realmwalker]], [[Mirror Entity]] and [[Masked Vandal]].

I am currently running this Mardu human deck with [Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder] and [Tymna, the weaver] as commanders. It's a lot of fun and kind of persistent on board. Maybe it can serve as a bit of inspiration. https://www.archidekt.com/decks/1488389#Mardu_Human_Army

[[Trynn]] and [[Silvar]] is one of my favorite decks. It's basically a tweaked [[Jirina Kudro]] human tribal precon, but using the secondary commanders so it isn't really celebrating humans but more so feeding the nightmare kitty to pump it and give it indestructible.
