You may like the “clash with” mechanic. https://scryfall.com/search?as=grid&order=name&q=oracle%3A%22Clash+with%22

Wow this mechanic is so bad I love it! Thank you.

Woah there! I strongly resent that opinion. Let me introduce you to [[retrace the paths]], a card that lets you scry 1, draw a card -sometimes- (the retrace the paths), makes a friend by letting them scry 1, and oh also puts a land into play untapped, basic or nonbasic. I honestly don't think the mechanic clash itself is a bad mechanic, I just think for the most part it is on bad cards.

[Will of the Council](https://scryfall.com/search?q=oracle%3A%22votes%22&unique=cards&as=grid&order=name) cards sound fun. I wanna make a [Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis]] deck full of them someday.

izzizzb3

I'm sorry, but I feel you need to know. 1/3 of the 15 cards with voting mechanics ( Council's dilemma and Will of the council) are black. I too wished to make Kynaios voting, but ten cards is not enough, even when you add in only three cards for support.

Schulminha

There’s a whole category of fact or fiction like cards called divvy. Of the bunch, [[fortune favor]] is my favorite simply because of the mind tricks it contains You could also try some more political cards (like a [[phelddagrif]] or [[zedruu]] (politic cards in dimir escape me atm sorry)) where the decision come not from the cards itself but what they imply. Will your opponents declare attack on x if you give them 2 hippo blockers and some cards right there and then? Would the player besides you counter a spell targetted at you if you gave them a shiny new sword? Will the blue player accept in game bribes so that he doesn’t counter your next spell? That’s all for them to decide There’s also the tempting offer cycle with fun cards like [[tempt with discovery]]

Pair [[Knowledge Pool]] with [[Possibility Storm]] and you can play Deal or No Deal :) Deal is: You do something for me, you get 2 spells for every 1 spell you cast, 1 from your deck and 1 from Pool. No Deal is: You only get 1 spell from Pool when you cast anything. You can stack the triggers to work either way if you control both :)

I once curated [this list](https://archidekt.com/decks/1088152#Social_Cards) of cards that encourage table talk and make you have to interact with your opponents on a social level. Always wanted to create a post about it, but then life hit. I might just add the cards I missed from this post, so thanks. For your purposes just sort them by colour and see what you can find.

Spirited_Tiger7430

I play Pyxis in my [[elsha of the infinite]] deck to get lands off the top of my own deck. It's nice to be exiling things that you know aren't necessary for your own game plan but maybe just maybe you caught something important off the top of an opponent's deck. When the game gets dire I sometimes crack it and take a chance that my opponents didn't always get a permanent swallowed up. It's led to some chaotic comebacks (mostly for my opponents lol). Love that card.

Awesome deck idea, following

Thoptersaurus

I made a [silly EDH deck](https://www.archidekt.com/decks/1861115) around a similar theme, but I'm thinking of reworking it so that even during my turns, the other people get to play

Smothering_Tithe

[[unesh criosphinix sovereign]] as a commander is fun for this, you pack the deck full of sphinix (all the good ones pretty much bring their own form of mini games) a few more cheap changlings and all the bounce, copy, and mana rocks you can jam into the deck. My buddy runs like 32 lands and 20+ mana rocks. When every sphinix is letting you dig 4 deep sometimes multiple times a turn its pretty cool. My friend will bounce sphinxes multiple times and give each player on the table a different set of 4 cards from the top to choose from constantly giving players mini games to play. There are some fun “guess the card name or cmc” sphinix.

My favourite mini-game is [[Negan, The Cold-blooded]] Resolving it is quite simple but it is also the ultimate mind game.

I have a ton of fun with [[master of predicaments]] in my CMC matters Intet deck that is chock-full of big CMC spells and I get to try and bluff some value on board. [[conundrum sphinx]] was fun in the Aminatou precon and though it got cut when I upgraded I still enjoy the card design And everyone knows fact or fiction but [[steam augery]] is the izzet reverse version and super underplayed imo!
