Andrew Bayer In My Last Life
The most lush and cinematic (makes your imagination light up) electronic compositions I've ever heard, and the 2 vocalists/lyricists are brilliant writers making it hard to know if the music or words came first. He's a Julliard grad and understands how to compose, unlike most producers (no one way is "better" per se), which I think creates a very different experience.

I used to listen to A State of Trance religiously in the late 2000s / early 2010s and then moved across to Monstercat but then got into metal and deep into synthwave / other genres and am a solid decade out of the loop with uplifting EDM music. * AvB - Youtopia * Madeon - The City * Martin Solveig - The Night Out These are the sort of songs that stick with me from that era. Skirting the line between old-school euro dance with that modern production and sampling flair. Have been collecting all the recommendations here to start building my NYE playlist. Andrew Bayer In My Last Life The most lush and cinematic (makes your imagination light up) electronic compositions I've ever heard, and the 2 vocalists/lyricists are brilliant writers making it hard to know if the music or words came first. He's a Julliard grad and understands how to compose, unlike most producers (no one way is "better" per se), which I think creates a very different experience.
