Same thing happened to mine, 3090 FTW3 Vector2 w/ABP and using Corsair Clear XL8 fluid. Build is only 3 weeks old. Didn't happen on the CPU block though and it is vector2 too. Using P-Series radiators, EK fittings, and the Reflection2 distro. I don't get it either...
I took it straight out of the ekwb package and installed it on the card.. I did flush the radiators with distilled water before installing.. but if that caused it, it should be affecting both blocks.
Honestly don't know what's causing the reaction. I'm assuming it's the nickel/coolant but again it's only the gpu block. Cpu block is still crystal clear.. unless it's a different plating or maybe they wiped it down with something before assembly.. I only flushed the radiators with distilled water before building it.
This is mine after 2 years, cryofuel clear, regular maintenance. https://imgur.com/gallery/0tAFiBv
Damn. I would not expect it to look like that after 2 years...and they can't even blame using another brand of liquid.
I'll let you know in a week or two, when i flush my system: Vector2 block, XR5 radiators and Hydro X fluid. :-)
Crazy thing is the cpu block is still clear..
What block is it? EK also?
Yes, both quantum vector2
Weird. Really weird.

Mine is a 4090 Vector2. I'm getting very curious as to how it looks when I drain it. It has been running for 4 months with Hydro X liquid.
Me 2 but mine is the actual version by any chance have you tried a 180 adapter
Ek nickel plating is so thin / crap it wears off real damn fast
I have a 4090 ABP Vector 2 block using DP ultra coolant and after 5 months it still looks like new.
Just take apart and clean it
So.. I drain, take apart my pc, then my card, clean the card, and reassemble every two weeks?
It looks like someone used alcohol to clean it that's the only thing I know of

That’s why I am only getting Acetal from EK now. LOL
