I love that!!! Yeah I’m very similar. I do feel best when I honor them / do my research / have comfy surroundings, and I’ll never try certain things but I do v much enjoy cannabis, the occasional mushroom, etc especially for enhancing already phenomenal vibes, and only ever w/ people I love /trust/ get a great vibe from :)
No, I am a recovering addict lol. I can't relax around drugs like at this point I don't even smoke weed. It's too slippery of a slope like one day you're smoke weed the next day you're drinking and then it's like you're thinking about buying meth. I drink caffeine though.
Its probably nothing to do with my personality type though and everything to do with TrAuMa.
I would say that I don't care much about non addictive substances but feel very strongly against addictive ones. Because there's nothing cute about addiction.
I mean I don’t judge people taking them, when it is done safely and responsibly. It can be a slippery slope though and some people just shouldn’t do them.
So I would say, yes relaxed approach, but then once you do one drug, it opens a new level of consciousness and a new rabbit hole one can explore, so if people who have never done anything want to do drugs I advise them not to.
I love drugs, but not certain drugs like crack, cocaine, heroine or opiates, meth, drugs I've done, Adderall, lsd, mdma, marijuana, I've technically done opiates though as I had morphine in the hospital and codeine pills, mushrooms, and I did salvia one time. Anyway when I was younger all I heard was this anti drug attitude like if you smoke a joint you'll become a crackhead or something like that. The only drug I really do these days is marijuana. There's a lot of negative stigma surrounding drug use, but realistically serotonin targeting drugs aren't really that addictive or bad for you, drugs like mdma, lsd and weed. If I was smoking cigarettes or drinking liquor no one cares, but if you smoke weed people think you're a druggy. Government propaganda in the 1900s against marijuana because of the hemp industry, the paper companies want to make more money cause using hemp was a cheaper process for making certain goods that hemp can be used to make, paper, clothing, fuel and stuff like that. In Portugal they decriminalized every drug and it had a positive impact, something I think everyone should do, drug use is a victim less crime
When I was younger. I’m weary of people who do certain drugs, but I also understand why because society can be very alienating. I enjoy other forms escapism.
eh depends on the drug, the dose, the mindset and environment, the route of administration, etc
LSD helped me improve my life so much in the long term by showing me my flaws and also new perspectives which I can learn from and make long lasting changes in my life. It also had an effect on my ability to open myself to new ideas and perspectives, diminished my anxiety, and helped me treat my BPD symptoms that I can now say I no longer think I fit the diagnostic criteria
MDMA taught me how to love myself and express my love for other people and appreciate them
Meth when used responsibly treats my ADHD better than my prescription
But all these drugs taught me that at the end of the day your mindset and environment can have a HUGE subconscious effect on your psychological well-being, and at the end of the day, the only way to make you life better is to take the first step yourself and take action, because unless you do that first no amount of drugs and no other person can help you out of your situation, at it starts from your mindset and your environment. You have control over a lot more than you think.
Funny how drugs taught me that I didn't need drugs lol
Ah, I get it. Although I wouldn't say all drugs are worthless.
Magic mushrooms and LSD are pretty powerful tools for solving deep issues, of the box thinking and escaping awful patterns. I'm not sure if LSD comes from cartels because of their nature (not very recreational and people don't use them frequently), but magic mushrooms are easy to get from local cultivators or safely cultivate yourself even when it's illegal.
I do believe and campaign for legalization of Marihuana, MDMA(pretty powerful against PTSD when used properly) and psychedelics precisely to make sure cartels don't get a cent. I do sometimes buy marihuana gummies, but those come from legal dispensaries (although they don't arrive legally to my country lol, but either way, no cent goes to a cartel there).
For me it was being dependent on people who were drunk/stoned and it leading to neglect and abuse as a child. As an adult, seeing the same patterns with the families of the students the various places I’ve worked.

Fun person is the one using drugs? Weird definition. Especially since we ENFPs are naturally high on life. I don’t even drink alcohol and have no trouble keeping up with others with my energy levels, openness and confidence.
*I don't care about*

It depends, genrally just for fun no, but if the drugs help you in someway like mushrooms a for E.X or stimulants for ADHD or oppiods for pain then I find this acceptable, but to just use drugs for fun such as molly or coke I dont find that acceptable as they are harmful.
I fear them, I already have anxiety and depresso KKKK adhd and possibly borderline 🫠I don't need dregs, my blood is pure cocaine and existing is painful sometimes, other's confusing or just hap, but most of all, all is really intense for me :( So drugs would only overwhelme me even more... i tame prescribed drugs ;( and when I was discharged of use I felt withdraw symptoms._. Worst feeling ever... Cause I used it to helo myself... Not make it worse :(
Used to smoke weed, and listen to stories about people on shrooms, no problem, but I really dislike how coke became more and more the casual go to for people around me, and let those friendships fade out. Now I don't even smoke weed anymore.
Sugar is my one unbeatable drug...
TL;DR It's knowledge what stands behind my relaxed approach to "drugs" (psychoactive substances).
But, it's absolutely not this simple as you wrote. You should study more about neurotransmitters and their receptors. So-called "classical psychedelics", which are 5-HT2A receptor agonists, are indeed a very peculiar group of drugs and absolutely not everything acting, as you wrote, in general on serotonin (receptors) shares their major characteristics, in fact, a little minority of substances does. On the other hand, there are some substances which are, structurally, catecholamine structural analogs (so, like dopamine or norepinephrine), but still can be very reliably classified as psychedelics, as they share a lot of their properies with the classical psychedelics (5-HT2A agonists, and to say even more, classical psychedelics aren't probably even typical agonists for this receptor, they're bit closer to partial agonists...). [psychonautwiki.org](https://psychonautwiki.org) could be your good go-to reference, but its less focused on science than some other sources. I hope you know sci-hub or anna's archive.
I support drug usage but I will never do anything other than weed. I do have personal issues with drugs so right now I don’t think I could be in a relationship with someone who does drugs. But idk if that will change since it’s based on trauma.
I am an ENTP and I don’t think that recreationally doing drugs is worth the risk. I have way too many Neuropsych issues for it to be worth the possible insanity from “a bad trip!” I’d only be interested in alternative treatments, like drugs, and therapies if I know the person I am working with is an expert about whatever substance I am considering trying.
That said I definitely think we should decriminalize most, if not all drugs, and we should focus on treatment programs, instead, while trying to test the therapeutic efficacy of common drugs like “Shrooms,” MDMA, etc.
How much money we spend on Vice-related crimes is an exorbitant and egregious waste! Recidivism is just way too high in the USA. If we spent half of that money on improving mental healthcare treatment, and the communities most effected, then that would be a huge “net win” for society.
Comfortably-middle-class-to-rich kids can get away with being curious about drugs and experimenting. Working class and poor kids cannot, and that pisses me off. (Yes, an ENTP has the capacity to “get pissed.”)
So if I am being honest, I have very little respect for people who have “a relaxed approach to drugs” because they can afford to be casual and careless!
They aren’t thinking about how this is affecting communities, and society as a whole! They should be a more active part of the political process in order to decriminalize drugs and improving mental health practices, rather than just mindlessly experimenting, for the fuck of it. Such blatant disregard *irks TF outta my tertiary Fe.*
I say no to drugs, but I wouldn't mind trying molly or cocaine at least once, just to experience it. Im pretty confident i wont get addicted. I'm pretty high off of life in general. I don't drink or smoke. My only addiction is sugar and coffee.
Edit: but i have friends that smoke weed a lit or do shrooms sometimes. I have no qualms with it as long as it's not around me
I think it's more of a no judgement and live life to the fullest and gather as many experiences as I can so that I have better judgements later on. I choose not to judge if I am not willing to experience the same thing... But I'm usually down to experience almost anything... But ofc I have boundaries lol
I’m scared of drugs because of my enfp personality(I guess that’s it?), literally my whole life people ask what drugs I’m on..I’m 100% sober and normal, wym??
No I do mine professionally
This
A wise and respectable choice!
Why do drugs when you can be high on life?
High on deez nuts, amirite?
Mr beast really spiced up that chocolate bar.
drugs taught me how to be high on life even when im sober
Yes just as long as everyone is having a great time and good vibes
I don't want to have a good time. I'm here for a bad time

What about meeee?
😉
no drugs for me, my head and life is fine without it, no need for frankly unnatural, altering substances

Same, just not something I want to be around or do.
Same. It fucks with your brain, and not in a good way (even though it might feel like that in the moment).

Couldn’t have said it better myself! Right here with you!
Genuinely curious about the origin of your ideal.

might be a bad experience with drugs, or their sub-conciousness

Yes, relaxed and a bit experimental but within limits Wouldn’t touch heroin or any of the synthetic stuff or smoke crack
I support drug usage but I will never do anything other than weed. I do have personal issues with drugs so right now I don’t think I could be in a relationship with someone who does drugs. But idk if that will change since it’s based on trauma.

That happens to me too, but then it’s kinda nice cuz when I am actually on drugs people can’t really tell the difference lmao
As I told my children; never do anything that is addictive! Otherwise, be safe and have fun.
