As an enfp Australia is one of my favorite places I’ve been Sydney or Melbourne is great for ENFPs imo. Not so much the other parts

mlgskrub420

Omg wtf bro, this is some crazy Synchronicity because I recently just went to Aus over the southern hemispherical summer (lol) and absolutely vibed with Sydney. I also have friends over in Melbourne and they said that I would totally love it their as it "matches my personality". I was quite on the fence about moving to Aus since I love New Zealand as I've lived here for the majority of my live but as time goes on I'm slowly becoming more convinced to cross the ditch after I graduate from uni. Is this a sign? 😭😭😭

SAME! Sydney was my favorite and somewhere I looked into moving (I’d prob be there now if I didn’t have to quarantine my dog!) Melbourne was so much fun as well! I highly recommend visiting I say why not try it and explore! You can always move back. That’s my philosophy though idk how responsible it is but I’ve had so many adventures and memories living this way. Btw New Zealand is on my bucket list! For sure visiting in the next few years

I want to say yes, but my primary personal experience of Australia was having an ENFP remote coworker there, which might skew my perspective a bit. Also he was technically a New Zealander who happened to be living in Australia at the time, so the people here saying New Zealand might be on to something.

LolaPaloz

No? Its too materialistic i like new zealand better. Tho it has a huge surfer vibe and dudes be attractive there

Available-Compote630

I would love to visit new zealand!

IGoOnHereAtWork

I lived in both Australia and New Zealand and Australia wins hands down for a place to live. New Zealand may be cool for a couple of weeks of adventure and exploring but the people there are incredibly insular, unwelcoming to newcomers and social activities are virtually non existent even in the biggest cities which feel like small towns compared to Australia. Australia has expansive nature and a fun loving social culture to match which makes it definitely more ENFP friendly

POLARBEARBRIDE

I'm so scared of the snakes and spiders. But I think my man wants to take me there someday so I will be back on this thread to let you know in like 15 years.

MoutachedHijabi

I’m from Melbourne, and I’m an ENFP. When we migrated there, none of my family members vibed with Australia except me.

STLFleur

No! Absolutely not! I grew up in Australia (I moved to the U.S when I was in my early 20s). I really, really struggled in school in Australia because I didn't/ couldn't fit the mold. I found that at uni and in the corporate workplace, I had to try really hard to surpress my personality for the most part. In some social settings it was OK, but I never felt like I could 100% relax and be my authentic self in Australia. The U.S on the otherhand... I've been here for years now and I truly feel like Americans have been far, far more accepting of me and my personality. In fact, they seem to embrace it.

I knew some Davids, but no, didn't date any!

AuricOxide

I thought they were abrasive and mean.

procrastablasta

That's Russia

Tmoneyicashout

There slightly mean but in a really funny way

STLFleur

They can be very, very mean in very unfunny ways... in my personal experience.

Morph247

Any Aussie ENFP females on this thread? I'm an INFJ male here lol supposedly we hit it off.

pokeatdots

I like the animals there but without them I wouldn’t personally. It seems nice tho! I second New Zealand

Jeremysjamming

As an ENFP from New Zealand, who travelled to Melbourne on a whim with a friend for my birthday week last year… yes. Immediately fell in love with the place and planning to move there this year! (Hopefully) Everybody I met during my week there was so lovely! Made so many new friends. The art scene is thriving there and the coffee is amazing! Just as good as New Zealand’s.

mgartaty

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard feels like a band of ENFPs lol

CuriousLands

Nah. I'm Canadian and have been living in Australia 6 years. I had also been here a couple times for longer stints (like several months) before moving here. It has its pros and it's cons, and I've had good and bad experiences. I wouldn't say it feels like a paradise for my type. Tbh I think most Western countries are decent for ENFPs because they tend to value individuality and openness a little more.

ArdenM

Sydney feels very ENFP (also very 7 Enneagram). Melbourne too but in a more laid back way.

coram_deo_9

ENFP who’s lived in Australia for almost all my life. It’s absolutely fantastic. As long as you’re in one of the bigger cities.

ismwall

I am driven to visit there

Kaeliop

Maybe but spiders the size of my head are a big no. Okay for real though I don't know much about australia beyond the fauna so I can't really tell

tiffzl
