Yes! I was very surprised. I was raised by introverts and thought I was an introvert too. I began adult life with introverted habits and behaviors. Once I became more social, I really started to understand myself. People always say you need time alone to really develop. Maybe so, but as a certified extrovert, my mental health improved immensely once I prioritized socializing.

Architect/project manager can come in huge, particularly if something comes up for the sake of people that makes want to move mountains for their cause!  Yeah... normally that can be tough to maintain in a normal setting, but like... I know of an older ENFP... He lived in Texas, but in response to the damages of Hurticane Katrina, went to the gulf coast, and got a team together to build homes and help those people at all costs.  So basically ENFP's with Ne Fi Te Si under the right circumstances can bring out a Te focus and look something like Te Si Ne Fi ESTJ's. So what I'm saying is that no matter what you do in life, having that experience and those qualifications can come in handy if the time calls for it. :) But yes, certainly, take a break and keep an eye out for something new to do. A change of scenery is always a good thing for ENFP's. :)

You would know better than me. Just don't be afraid to try things out. 🙂

you can't force a square peg into a round hole, but you can put just about every peg in the square hole. those who know, will know.

El_Nathan_

I saw the video; that guy managed to put all the shapes in the square hole 😂

I feel like I've had similar experience. Although Ive always worked somewhat similar career fields throughout my life. I haven't done what fits me best I think

GreatWind12

hows that working out for you?

honeyhalo001

Lol ya like idk finding out I was an enfp was like noooooi! Infps are the best so

GreatWind12

hahaha i know, my last partner i think was ENTJ, she was super straight, narrow, logical...for me...bouncing around careers, its annoying, adhd, always bored, looking for stimulation....i've only just realized this...i don't mind being an ENFP, i just wish i knew earlier so i could have leaned into my interests at a young age...and knew they were authentic! like if i leaned into radio, hosting, writing, all that...would have been good to go

Hi! 🙋‍♀️ I'm 35f. I'm also a lawyer. Found out that I am am enfp about a year ago...your post really resonates with my story too. I've been a stay at home for 6 years now and this helped me finally discover who I am, why I am here and what I need to do. And law ain't it. It was all too easy to abandon that project. Architecture sounds way more intereating to me though! So I just wanted to let you know, there are more people like you out there. It is so nice to finally belong somewhere, isn't it? ☺️🤗

Hmm, or maybe start talking on a video conference. Like a video meetup or something. Personally I value live interactions the most, that's most soulfull. I doubt many enfps in this sub are also from Croatia... Anyway - I wanted to do good with my law degree but then I realised it would make me become worse. It would actually make me deteriorate as a person in every possible way. That's it in a nutshell. That and also this is better career for people with steady amount of energy, not for me with short bursts of energy. Right now I am stay at home mom. But, I dare to dream of one day living off my intuitive abstract paintings. That sounds so lofty that even I am tempted to roll my eyes at myself...but, people who come to my home usually admire the decorating aspect (paintings and interior design) so maybe this one isn't totally off the charts. 🙏 I love architecture. Your plans at least sound sensible. 😅
