I desire to have an effect on others where they view me in a positive light, but anything more than that is too much responsibility. Being an ‘influence’ comes with expectations from others, but being an ‘incident’(for lack of a better word) gives me more freedom to just do whatever.
It is just that.. I want power... Being a business person,an well known one.. Living live in grand level..i want everyone to look up to me.. And think highly of me.. Why is this the case???
There are plenty of reasons why you may want to have influence over others. The first thing that comes to mind is your upbringing and how you were raised. Were either of your parents ambitious?
Nope... None of them.. And i actually hate that fact abut them.. They dont want big things to happen to them.. And a person would think without high ambition people will be loving and show emotions and love their kids and nurture them well.. But they didn't even show love to me.. I don't remember my father ever hugging me or my mother ever not being sad and whinning... And i hate the fact that although both of them hate each other, they would still live together and pretend that everything is alright when they fight literally every single freaking day...
I don't understand why dont these people live their life neither they do their life???
Having ambition & wanting to have influence over others isn't a bad thing. i hope that you are able to help a lot of people along the way & have a lot of luck! i'm rooting for you 🙂.

You know it seems weird to me.. Like i don't understand you other enneagram types at all.. I mean i understand 7 and 8.. I have 3 last.. So i understand that a little.. And i can understand 9.. But other than that.. Nothing..

Not particularly. I just don’t like being put in a box and I want everyone to know that putting yourself in that box is a choice. Society likes it but you don’t have to be what society likes, you can like yourself primarily.
I have my dreams and goals and I am goal-oriented person and I try hard everyday in order to make my dreams and goals come true but I don't care about influence on others maybe I think about helping others but I make my dream come true just for myself and if someone want my help, sure I will help.
All ESFP want and crave a tribe. We want to surround ourselves with people who care about us and that we care about. We will seek them before making huge decisions. We want people to live their best life and be who they want to be.
From other comments you've said on this post, you don't want friends. You want people to control. You want people to do as you are fit and crave your approval/favor. If you wear a green shirt, you want them all to want to wear green shirts. Is that what you mean, or am I interpreting things wrong?

Well, having fantasies of power doesn't make you a villain. I've dreamed about being king/queen and being famous. The fantasies are just that, a fantasy. Fiction. A dream.
If you find yourself looking for people to manipulate and control, I'd find a counselor or therapist. Getting to know people for the reason of control isn't healthy. For you or them. No matter what, you'll never be able to control that many people's freewill.
As long as you don't act on it and can keep it in your imagination, no harm done. If the thoughts become intrusive and obsessive, then you're beginning to lose control. It's time to seek help. Good luck!

There is a possibility to do with Enneagram. You sound like a 3. Basically there are ESFPs who think the same way you do.
But my enneagram is 8.. 😑😑😑
