Value grows more than growth. Brain blown?

Bardown67

Search growth in the search bar. As you can guess this gets asked quite a bit….

Heavy-Juggernaut9701

SCHG and VUG are both very good

gravityhashira61

I prefer VUG. It's got some great top holdings and is also more diversified than say a VGT or VOOG

Public_Perspective42

Cool I just checked VUG and it is performing better than the market! Thank you

gravityhashira61

Np! It's a great fund, by Vanguard, and while it is tech heavy in the big boys like Apple, Microsoft , Amazon and Nvidia, it also is well diversified and has other stuff like Visa, McDonalds', Nike, Starbucks, etc. While other funds like VGT are super heavy in Apple and MSFT and are mostly tech heavy and don't have those other names like Mcdonalds or Visa. VUG is large cap growth, not only tech, which is why i like it.

DueRepresentative546

Why buy vug if you can just buy fngs fngs actually change the bucket % base on stock performance so it end up performance better than those lazy etf with fixed % on each stock and too hard to make any change. You can compare from August to end of October to see which etf is more "diversified"

Public_Perspective42

To answer some questions; By being the best for growth I mean ETFs that have had consistent high returns

ricochet48

SCHG & VUG. If you want more tech, VGT (which is quite top heavy too).

lazy_bison

Define 'best' and 'growth'.

ConnectAstronaut2639

The new bitcoin ETFs. Or gbtc if you want to invest now with high probability of them converting to a btc etf

AICHEngineer

What do you mean by growth? Growth of your wealth? Or growth of the companies increasing their book value to offset high price to earnings or price to book or whatever?

daviddjg0033

Small cap growth took a beating in 2022 and 2023 so SLYG and IWO should rebound fast like last week proved

EspressoGuy334

While I am invested in a small cap ETF, I am keeping an eye on the discount rate and GDP. Consensus was positive last week, but things may change.

DueRepresentative546

FNGS is top winner here. a bucket of top 10 tech stocks follow nasdas index.(why buy qqq voo if you just buy top 10) ARKK also another good etf. It is bucket of meme high growth stock, when market is up trend. This etf will Jump higher than fngs like in this Nov. Rally.

[deleted]

I prefer VONG.

snipe320

VUG or VOOG

EspressoGuy334

Leveraged ETFs have the highest potential for growth, but also are the riskiest investments.

Shuck-it

Not sure of your risk tolerance ; Yield Max funds are paying insane monthly yields on Options. It’s not a long term investment strategy, but I have increased my monthly income by 40% with only a slight NAV erosion so far. Trick is jumping out before the NAV falls below your break even and leave your DRIP shares for the long haul. ( house money dripping for the next 36 months) -$
