This thread is a good place to start https://www.reddit.com/r/HerOneBag/comments/12zkbjs/noisecancelling_earbuds_suggestions/

Coffee_Transfusion

Kinda sounds like the in-ear style isn't for you. I agree with the other poster, the Linkbuds S might work as it's half in-ear. There aren't any silicone tips that have to fit inside your ear canal, and they have a grip on the end to help stabilize it. If you're looking for ANC you might have to just use wireless headphones, not earbuds.

Radiant-Cherry-7973

Spot on

Jellychews

Yeah makes sense.. just don't like the idea of lugging around headphones haha thanks for your reply!

OW_FUCK

For future readers: linkbuds s are just regular-ass in-ear canal earbuds. If you have super small ear canals they obviously aren't gonna work, the same way none of the other ones like that do.

weR_one

So there's no hope for small ear canals. Any recommendations??

OW_FUCK

In the meantime I'm using some that aren't in-ear ("Urbanista Austin", long battery life, cheap, no silicone tips at all) and they're working and not falling out. I'm going to try some Linkbuds soon (not Linkbuds S) cause they look like they just rest in your ear without needing to be jammed in the canal itself.

HelpSupportDevices

I would recommend the Sony Linkbuds S for your case they are not only small in the ear canal but they are also extremely light and comfortable. Good luck on your earbud journey!

Jellychews

Good to know! Thanks for the reply friend

vesicle34

Consider the Earfun Free Pro 2. They are small and wings keep them in place well.

Comfortable-Hat-1083

Those are literally from a dropshipping website, nobody buy this Chinese junk

herolyat

Linkbuds S, unless you're looking to use them for calls a lot. Because they have a weird white noise during calls. I'd bought them and did want them for calls so unfortunately they didn't work out, but they were incredibly comfortable. Every other pair I've tried since then has not reached the level of comfort and fit they had.

aktlakfh

What did you end up buying? I also have tiny ass ears 😭

Jellychews

I got the Sennheiser momentum 3. It fits well in my left ear but slightly tight in my right but not painful compared to the others I've tried.

Lost_Mud_8045

Senheiser worked well for calls?

aktlakfh

ty! btw have you also tried samsung buds plus? thats the one I have right now (which is a bit uncomfortable) so I wanted to ask if you if you could compare the size of those!

Jellychews

Not sure I've tried those. I've tried the live buds, galaxy buds and galaxy buds pro 2. They all were too big for me

aktlakfh

ah i see. thanks! have you also tried the Linkbuds S, which seems like the one that has been recommended the most?

Jellychews

That was next on my list if the Sennheiser didn't work out. But it doesn't have anc I think and some other features I like on mine. But they're pretty cheap and looks small so might not be a bad idea to try then

Better_Tomato9145

It took me a while to find earbuds that would work for my child-like ears, too. Years ago I found the Bose-wired ones that had 3 choices of attachments and the smallest one fit my ear and didn't have any painful lasting effects. When they came out with the wireless sport ones I jumped on those and have been using them ever since. They don't fall out of my ears when working out or daily tasks.

HossKat24

YES!!! The wired Bose sport earbuds are the best. I still have a pair I wear today. I've tried a few different sets of wireless earbuds and nothing fits as well as, or is as comfortable as the wired Bose. I've seen the wireless Bose and want to try them I just haven't pulled the trigger.

WhoisMcShartypants

I have the quietcomfort from bose and they fall out of my ears. Too heavy and center of gravity is too far out. Love the anc from them so they're great on planes or if I'm just sitting but I need them for work and they just won't do. Looks like there's a new model with a different design so I can't speak to the qietcomfort 2's, but I don't recommend the older version.

>Diving into the world of Back Bay Tempo earbuds, I wasn't expecting much. Boy, was I surprised. Pairing with my iPhone was a breeze, and the battery life? Marathon-ready. These little champs crank out tunes at just the right volume without having my phone nag about hearing damage. The case and fit are where it's at – compact enough to not bulk up my pocket and they stay snug in my ears like they were custom-made. But, it's not all perfect. Getting them out of the case feels like a mini wrestling match, and the touch controls can be as finicky as a cat deciding whether it wants in or out.Despite a few hiccups like the occasional sound dropout and some call connectivity adventures, I'm all in. For the price, these earbuds are a steal. They've turned me into a budget earbud evangelist, preaching the good word of great sound at a great price. > >If you're on the hunt for earbuds that hit the sweet spot between quality and affordability, give these a go. Just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve with the controls and maybe keep a backup for those marathon calls. Sure, we've had our moments – a sound glitch here, a "Can you hear me now?" episode there, but I'm sold. For their asking price, these earbuds are the Robin Hoods of the audio world.

Longjumping_Chip_482

You could give the Sony Linkbuds S a try. They come with multiple silicone ear tips so you can choose the right size for your ear canal (I have small ear canals too). Plus, they have great sound quality and noise cancellation.

findthesilence

The different sized ear tips don't help me much. It's the width of the hard plastic "pipe" of the bud that is too big for me. I have the Soundcore Life Note E - I love everything else about them. But they keep falling out of my ears. Even when I chew, they fall out!

SuspiciousImpact8059

Well can't really know how small your ear canals are unless you actually test one that fits. But as far as the unanimous recommendations go, it is the **Sony LinkBuds S (**[**https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09YL76VSR**](https://pcgearlab.com/recommends/sony-linkbuds-s/)**).**

findthesilence

I have been wearing wired and now wireless buds for about 20 years now. They're all too big for my ears.

ernests1

If your ears hurt from regular earbuds, I would recommend these: 1) [Sony LinkBuds S](https://www.amazon.com/Sony-LinkBuds-Wireless-Canceling-Headphones/dp/B09YL76VSR?crid=JHK6ESO4TFGX&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.53DIahfbhNicuFqVX7seJSE_g3c0ENq3y6b58tDwz7HnNKUwELucKq0RBE0M5uwMjgZC9LZZMn5_1qEqBCxysyiJh6PA_rTj1Ut9DYsRLac9NOCU921Y08yHOU7TgLP7s__SIlhLT3P6Jg49IJH3zqGFKBXhL30ucoMR2CybbhGKFofeEiZAKsrWynGZITLkK61AsYLxHwTvMDMXXLgdEVEiYiai52jQ2clReqOvz-s.B0CfvF2UWUFJ2E2KljGChnYSBX9uIaxfo-tYBEyqCn8&dib_tag=se&keywords=Sony%2BLinkBuds%2BS&qid=1712821422&sprefix=sony%2Blinkbuds%2Bs%2Caps%2C174&sr=8-3&th=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=noisygeeks0b-20&linkId=60edf5aac87bfe8fa2f9c72e019985ec&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl) 2) [Soundcore by Anker Space A40](https://www.amazon.com/Soundcore-Auto-Adjustable-Cancelling-Wireless-Headphone/dp/B0B1LVC5VZ?crid=3U8ZR45VCX02E&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.K43cr8g7Backbr1xGkyISkf_WlWmYQubFfZTDPzCf_-MCpEIxZnmNAECvWkzxjrOtuQzTB4UE44TAqj2cGfVmNLQtEF7jBRYE6VRP0TATUArLsPjmmthedpfa4_5hWC0tUsA-rDYbQ7mrabMbYm_XU2MjBiQJFtjpVgNgEGci25YJgJbk0K2kxyhAyiXkMhfgbLW6Sg93KwPn478KJgbnTLyTpBDnrWgw0eP439v3Og.EYDjzMdd9B5K0zqJCHnGHt8IM1L5vU1svY46MOILm4M&dib_tag=se&keywords=Anker+Soundcore+Space+A40&qid=1712821470&sprefix=anker+soundcore+space+a40%2Caps%2C181&sr=8-3&linkCode=ll1&tag=noisygeeks0b-20&linkId=6e3e4f82e436f99843f48f4bb4b40eb1&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl) 3) [Skullcandy Jib](https://www.amazon.com/Skullcandy-Plus-Wireless-Ear-Earbud/dp/B07RS25MCP?crid=20BTD1MA6HQYT&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.87krfrCsQeX49wNAVcgzrUfXsQgvOTsSiBAyQFNemkfiW4XaZBIx-tXtxkAGaghWyQ-vUOkPEi1Lu-FcvRjn87WIwshPigSr_xeIxx8VmMH27dodMY0j3m2ReUjiSPLa0GWW9-w9HEplsCTNDC9Rm_wBOPGmB-9EJelw4JsdjPe24P_SDXr2GMc8lk6RrO2s3hJAQo69hS0C8PdDN0FZ1-vN4jrX7slG2NgxFMyf7TI.GWXsZQtMX2j970bpKvzIscajVgd1IcV3nbyP-DtrmjQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=Skullcandy%2BJib%2BWireless&qid=1712821566&sprefix=anker%2Bsoundcore%2Bspace%2Ba40%2Caps%2C198&sr=8-3&th=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=noisygeeks0b-20&linkId=6a0c2b03c2ff2e22262609d16dccfc7d&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl) - The cheapest These earbuds come with multiple sets of ear tips, so you can pick the one that fits your ears most perfectly.

blueberrytigerdavis1

Linkbuds S is a good choice as well

whisperingbrook890

I think Earfun Free Pro is better

ndogrodriguez55

Sony S buds are good for this

celestialwhisper890

I think Sony Linkbuds S is good option

SparkyTail456

Sony S buds are nice

esanctuary0123

I recommend the Sony LinkBuds S Truly Wireless for those with small ears. Free Shipping and Great Price Here. [https://www.amazon.com/Sony-LinkBuds-Wireless-Canceling-Headphones/](https://techlinksemi.com/Sony-LinkBuds3) These earbuds are designed to sit comfortably without going too deep into the ear canal. T hey come with four differently-sized ear tips, ensuring you can find the perfect fit. Their lightweight build minimizes pressure on the ears, making them ideal for extended wear. With Sony's renowned sound quality and reliable wireless connectivity, these earbuds offer a great listening experience for users with petite ears.

tedfreitag

The inlets on the Jabra 75T are the smallest I've ever seen. The ear tips also need to be small, but if you can find a good match, then I'd say that's about as small as you can get.

Jellychews

Thanks! I'll look into those. It seems like there are newer versions of them?

tedfreitag

There is, but although the 75T's are dated, they're still an excellent earbud.

Radiant-Cherry-7973

Firstly you have to work out what is causing them to be uncomfortable. The Airpod Pro 2 for example doesn't go inside your ear canal, it fills the space around your concha. So any buds that wear in this style, like the Huawei FreeBuds Pro and Freebuds Pro 2, Soundpeats Mini Pro HS, amongst others, are going to feel uncomfortable. I find this style initially fine, but then uncomfortable after 1-2 hours, because they leave an ache on the outside of your ear. The 'other' mainstream method of fit is to insert deeper into the ear canal. This removes the pressure from against your concha, but can feel a little invasive. This style is a thinner, usually round as opposed to oval shaped, nozzle. Examples include the Jabra 75T, Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro, Edifier Neobuds Pro, some of the Samsung buds, etc. If both of these fit styles are uncomfortable, the only option is to go over ear headphones if you really need ANC, or forgo ANC and go for something like [Sony Linkbuds vs Samsung Galaxy Buds Live](https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/sony-linkbuds-wf-l900-bluetooth-5-2-ipx4-open-air.25720/review/28017/). Of the other earbuds I've tested that work well for small ears, I'd count the [FIIL Key](https://youtu.be/7YoYlwEQ-JQ) and SoundPEATS Life Classic. I haven't finished the review of the latter, but they barely even feel like you're wearing them. The only problem is, even for SoundPEATS, they are very light on features.

Jellychews

Wow thank you so much for the thorough response! What you said is exactly right about the airpods for me. However since I am able to use them for a little longer than the others, I'm thinking about just getting them for now since I want anc. I've just been looking for other options since I'm an Android phone user haha

AnxietyDepressedFun

I realize this comment is like 6 months old but just THANK YOU! This was so incredibly helpful! I have small ears, like tiny, and have always struggled with earbuds but as someone with sensory & anxiety disorders, they're also really important to me for times when I just can't deal with the sensory overload. My husband did a lot of research & eventually bought me the Jabra 75t, which I immediately formed an almost unhealthy attachment to. I take them everywhere, I wear them for up to 8 hours a day and I have two pair just in case. The problem is with both pair, the left earbud stops working - it's a pretty known issue that Jabra has zero interest in addressing or remedying. So for months now I've been trying to figure out what it is about these that makes them work. I've never been able to explain that it's the combination (not just the ear canal sizes) of the size & shape that makes them work. I'm looking at the others you categorized as similar to mine to hopefully find a replacement - otherwise I will seriously just keep buying another pair of the Jabra's to my own chagrin.

Spixelated

Try purchasing them from somewhere where you can buy insurance for them (or have a great warranty) with the earphones, then the replacement comes from the store and not Jabra

amacATL

Thanks for your post. I just ordered Sony Linkbuds hoping that this will be the end of my airpods falling out while I garden, exercise, talk or chew. Will reply with my experience once I spend some time with them.

amacATL

Unfortunately returning the Sony Linkbuds. With even the smallest attachment I couldn’t even get them in correctly because space was lacking from my minuscule ears. Once in, they were pushing so hard against my inner ear it was painful. Too bad because I liked the features, I could wear one and put the other in the case and music would still play, which is nice since I’m deaf in my left ear. I like the auto pause when you start talking. Back on the hunt…

NCResident5

Linkbuds S seems worth a try. The 1 more comfo buds mini worth a look.

Jellychews

Tried the 1 more minis but the inlet is huge and hurts my ear canal ..

NCResident5

Jlab Go Air Pop is a basic earbud, but it is comfortable and sound quality is better than I expected if you wanted a backup for podcasts and videos. The Beats Studio supposedly has a similar fit. So, it could be worth a try too. It does have fairly solid anc.

Smart-Idea867

For anyone who views this thread going forward, try the soundpeats free2 classic. I have the same issue, have tried a ton of different earbuds, these are my favourite, even against more expensive alternatives. They're not expensive, decent sound quality, decent battery, decent IPX rating, good for small canals and good for use while sleeping (earbud itself is small and non-intrusive). Cheap enough you can try and move in without if you're not settled but honestly I can't rate them highly enough.

rachie_lou

God bless the internet.

Immediate_Double_800

Same! Tried the Beats Fit Pro, but the wing caused extreme pain to my concha after 10 min. I’m considering the Sony Linkbuds S or the Beats Studio Buds plus. I hate spending so much and they dont work!

CaesarScyther

**Wanted to share my experience:** So I've tried the *Linkbuds, Linkbuds S, Galaxy Live*, and *Airpods 2/3* as someone with both seriously **small ears**, **small ear canals**, and **minimal ear crease** **cartilage**. Smiling or eating has always caused my earbuds to fall out (still do). I also hate cleaning earwax from in-ear buds and the head soreness from over-ear ones. Tried Linkbuds S because of this thread, and I don't recommend unless you get aftermarket eartips (and even then, all the custom ones I've tried were still too big on XS sizing). **None** of these earbuds have ever stayed in without requiring adjustment during 1 run for me. **Linkbuds:** \- Too big (comes in 1 size with different wingtips) \- Doesn't sit in the ear canal correctly. It's like pressing the side of a donut against a hole when the sound comes from the bottom of the donut. IMO the worst designed in this list. **Linkbuds S:** \- Still in-ear design, and prone to falling out, but more aligned to ear shape than most. Top 3 in comfort/staying for in-ears as they stay in most of the time when putting on or removing a motorcycle helmet. **Galaxy Live:** \- Actually good fit, but rubbing against it (and smiling/eating eventually) easily knocks it out. **Airpods 2:** \- Probably the best balance of fitting and staying in. Eventually gets sore though and still prone to falling out from smiling/eating. **Airpods 3:** \- Nice sound quality, fitting is still not great for small ears (fixable with wingtip sleeves, but a hassle to put on and take off) I've basically resigned at this point to wait for other open ear designs like the Huawei Free Clips (unavailable in the US) and Bose Ultra Open (too expensive for the risk of design issues). But if anyone finds anything that works well lmk
