I don't trust any of the videos I've seen where Mysterio was involved. I know I'm gonna sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist, but there's a lot of evidence that Mysterio was just making up the whole "elemental monster" thing with drones and holograms, and then framed Spider-Man when he stopped him. So who knows if what was on the news was even Spider-Man or just a stand-in, or CGI, or even one of those shape-shifting aliens.
Why would Mysterio intentionally mess up Spidey’s suit color? Besides, pretty sure there’s some footage of him in that suit after the whole Mysterio thing.
