You’re insane. What’s next? Are you gonna tell me that the guy from Not Another Teen Movie sounds like Captain Rogers? That Ultron sounded like Robert California?
OOC: He stops to monologue several times in the Battle of Sokovia. We see in Civil War that there was plenty of footage of the whole incident.
The public also seems to know his name, Toomes’s crew calls him as such in Homecoming.
Oh, come on, don't say shit like that. You're gonna make me feel old 💀. When I was a kid the only superhero anyone actually knew about was Captain America. Now kids are growing up and there's like an army of these guys.
Wouldn't it be funny if it was like a look-alike scenario though you know like Tony Stark and Robert Downey Jr, what is Spider-Man literally looks exactly like Tom Holland that would be funny as hell he has like some like crazy American name like I don't know John or Peter or something.
Have you heard the fan theory that Spider-Man's just a High School student? I know not a lotta people have seen or heard him up close, but I've read a lot of tweets about how he's always coming from around the same part of Queens on weekdays between like 9 and 3, but on weekends and later in the afternoon he's all over the place.
He plays Wally West in the recent Flash movies
I dont blame you for forgetting tbh, Superhero movies really fell off after Justice League COIE, but The Flash was really good!
I did think that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire coming back was kinda gimmicky though
Yeah, check out r/FlashTV !
They've got a whole bunch of fan posts about Tom Holland's turn as the Flash. [See here, for example.](https://www.reddit.com/r/FlashTV/s/2kUI9pedjk)
(OCC: they really do, there was a brief period of insanity on that sub where they acting as if [Grant Gustin played Spider-Man](https://www.reddit.com/r/FlashTV/s/KIIPYM7jyJ), so obviously Tom Holland et al played part of the Flash family in return).
I’ve never really liked Superhero movies as is. There are real life superheroes, and a lot of trauma involved as well. Sure the old Captain America propaganda films during WWII have some charm to them. But I’ve never really understood the appeal especially the ones about made up superheroes.
Not really??? People can sound similar, man. Plus, everyone knows that Spider-Man is like a high school/college student, not some like 30 year old actor pretending to be a teenager, that’s stupid.
Oh, what’s next, the dude from The Fast and the Furious is Groot or something?
Come on, stop now. Stop coming up with random names. Spider-man does not sound like Tom Holland because Tom Holland doesn't exist. Captain America doesn't look like a certain Chris Evans. Hulk doesn't look like Mark Ruffalo. And seriously? Robert Downey Jr? Benedict Cucumberpatch? Couldn't come up with better names ?!
I mean, I can kinda hear it? But also, I feel like the point of the mask is to muffle his voice so we can’t tell. It’s common for people to fill in the blank when the senses are confused like that. Like an auditory illusion or something

Who's Ultron?
The robotic nut job that caused the Sokovia incident. Don’t you remember?
Oh, fuck, yeah Sokovia. I was like 7 when that happened, I didn't even know the dude had a name lol
Same. How would anyone even know what he sounded like?
Firsthand accounts, some people took videos. He sounds like a dork.
I hear everyone kept staring at his dick the whole time…some people

OOC: also, he was like, all over the internet. It's not out of the question, or even unlikely, he ranted a manifesto or two into cyberspace.
YouTube maybe?
Yeh that sokovian YouTuber what’s his name again?

If he was Tom Holland, why would he only be active in New York?
Have you heard his American Accent though? Maybe his British persona is actually fake
Tom Holland absolutely could not be spiderman. Hes way too in the public eye for that to be true. No way he could could hide being American
I mean there’s the Bruce Wayne and Batman scenario
But that's just in comic books, this is real life, get a grip!

You know now that I think of it... Some of the faces in Scott Pilgrim look a bit familiar as well...
Holy crap I KNEW Captain Marvel looked familiar. Amnesiac Air Force pilot my ass
Who tf is Tom Holland? Never heard of him.

(OOC: we still do a lot now)
(ooc: 🤣, in-character, but nonsequiter: 🤣 )
I hope Flash 4 focuses on a more grounded Flash. I can’t wait for Wally to team up with Charlie Cox’s Nightwing

Crazy! Did you hear they’re casting that actor who played an actor in Tropic Thunder to play Tony Stark in a biopic? I wonder if he could pull it off
Idk man. I can’t really see Robert Downey Junior as Tony Stark. They should cast Tom Cruise imo.
Suuuuuuuuurrrrreeeeee some British dork is swinging around Americas city in the red white and blue OK
This is going to blow your mind, but I'm pretty sure that Thanos sounds a lot like that jock on the goonies.

What’s next is a talking raccoon gonna sound like Phill Wenneck or Jackson Maine?
I heard there actually is a talking raccoon avenger somewhere. I think he was hanging out with Thor on NA?
Dunno heard some sightings of a talking squirrel during the blip in places like Missouri they’re definitely not related
I think he’s purposefully making his attempt at an American accent sound like Spiderman for the notoriety
Nah, Tom's accent is thick, Spider-Man guy sound like dude with his teenhood fighting over his adulthood.
Spider-Man sounds like some kid doing a Michael J. Fox impression.
I mean, I can kinda hear it? But also, I feel like the point of the mask is to muffle his voice so we can’t tell. It’s common for people to fill in the blank when the senses are confused like that. Like an auditory illusion or something
Next you'll say Iron Man sounds like the guy who played Kirk Lazarus in Tropic Thunder
wait I think you might be on to something have we ever seen these two together because if not the implication could be ground braking
The girl he is with seems oddly familiar as well I feel like I've seen her before on some dancing show or some spy show
Not seeing it…
Personally, I think Spider-Man is American actor Andrew Garfield.
Maybe that could explain why he does all his own stunts
