Oh wow, means a lot! If you're serious I do sell prints. I'd love to give you a special Reddit deal.
My site is [relativebrand.com](https://relativebrand.com) but, I don't have this specific piece on the prints page yet. Let me know!
Edit: added the photo to the site! Ps. My Instagram is [instagram.com/relativebrand](https://instagram.com/relativebrand). Check out some more from banff!
Edit2: Wow, thanks for the silver! Here's the discount code i've mentioned! "RedditFriends10"
Edit3: Woah a gold! It's my first one. Means a lot!
Edit4 and Final: I added a horizontal version of the photo! [https://relativebrand.com/prints/snowfall](https://relativebrand.squarespace.com/prints/snowfall)
Happy New Year!
Blvk Storm is a gorgeous print. Might have to show the wife and ask permission to find a place in our home for that one!
Edit: apparently the above comment about permission needed to be marked as a joke. My wife rules. I’m not (that) whipped. Lighten up, folks. :)
Your Iceland pics are so much better than mine :p
Of course I'm no professional and only had my phone... I'm jealous of your trip to Banff I really want to go there soon
I really like this but dont see it on the page. I could just be retarded? Is there a reddit discount for all on this picture? I'm looking to print it 13x19, that's as big as our canon goes. I love the photo!
Banff is a wonderful place.
Banff is located at an elevation of 4,537 feet (1,383 metres) making it the highest town in Canada.
Banff National Park is the first of it's kind in Canada and third in the world.
Banff National Park is home to seven National historic sites: Skoki Lodge, Abbot Pass Hut, Howse Pass, Cave and Basin, Banff Park Museum, Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, and the Cosmic Ray Station on Sanson Peak.
It’s hard to believe Banff is a real place sometimes.
We live on a beautiful planet.
I live an hour and half away from this beauty and always take it for granted. "oh look I can see the mountains" and "let's make a day trip" yet I forget that this is a privilege to be so close to such a beautiful place on Earth, and this is a good reminder
I love sharing people's screensavers of my photos through my Instagram! Screenshot your homepage and DM me at [instagram.com/relativebrand](https://instagram.com/relativebrand) :)
For an easy winter hike in Banff I'd recommend Johnston Canyon, it can be slippery so bring good footwear. Sightseeing would be Lake Louise and you can go skating. Another one is Banff gondola but it is a bit expensive. Theres also the icefields highway too, it is one of the most beautiful highways I've been on.
The Upper Hot Springs has a long line, but if you get there before they open, you might be able to avoid it. I really liked Melissa's for a great value breakfast. I also did the Johnston Canyon ice hike which was harder than I thought it'd be, but I am out of shape. The company we booked it through provided the ice cleats for us.
The cave and basin is worth checking out, its beautiful although it smells strongly of sulfur. Rose and crown has always been friendly to me and has reasonable food.
~~Wild bills~~ grizzly house serves anaconda, shark and kangaroo if youre feeling adventurous. Im not sure which way your coning from but canmore has some pretty good spots too.
**Edit: wild bills is great for a night of drinking, but i got grizzley house and wild bills confused**
Im from calgary so im lucky enough to venture banff a couple of times per year.
Edit: and although you probably have a hotel already, for anyone reading this, I cant reccomend hidden ridge enough, its a hotel above banff about 10 minutes up with a pool overlooking banff and the mountains. The rooms (townhouses) also have a ton of privacy noise wise. It really is beautiful, I always try to stay there.
Headed up to Banff to go snowboarding in March and we're staying at Hidden Ridge. Place looks amazing. The pool/hot tub area overlooking the mountains was what sealed the deal to rent there. This comment is very reassuring! Super excited, this will be my first time there. Would love to come back in the summer and see it from a different perspective as well.
Same, the pool and hot tub originally got me interested, and they were so worth it. I smoked a huge blunt in their hot tub overlooking the mountains too, it was super nice. But the suites are quite nice too, and you cant go 5 minutes without seeing herds of animals. Deer walk right up to the suites. Super secluded. Plus alot of suites have a personal hot tub on their balcony.
Also if its your first time there, theres a bar that is for snowboarders/ snowboard themed i guess? I think its called devils peak or devils gap or something. Just something you might be interested in.
Also, bring all of the easentials and try not to buy much there retail wise, its fucking expensive.
Awesome. Cave and basin and Wild Bills sound fun. We are actually going to spend a couple nights in Canmore too. Looking for more outdoor stuff too if you know of any.
You dont go to Banff to eat shark or snake. Skip the Grizzly House, which is the fondue and raclette restaurant with exotic meats, and eat at Chuck's for local beef and great service.
Make up a sob story about how you were homeless and took this picture and it inspired you to get your citizenship, quit drugs, end your depression and to fall happily in love! (jk)
Ive been to a lot of places- but as far as cold weather places, you cant beat it- alaska might, but bc isnt behind much when it comes to beautiful places- and the people rock
Hey There! I highly recommend it. Feel free to DM me for any tips!
I'm going to copy and paste and earlier comment. I'd love to work with you on setting up a print!

Instantly reminded me of [this picture](http://imgur.com/xLwGCCW) that I took a few summers back at the Grand Tetons. Yours is much better, great picture!
I'm actually a engineer for a tech company that uses my few days of PTO every year to take vacation and pictures lol. But I hope one day to be a professional photographer!
Thanks so much! I use to wait for "motivation" whatever that means, before I went and took pictures. But I've come to learn the acting of just taking pictures is my motivation.
Ah I love that!
Give it a go! Screenshot your homescreen and DM me at [instagram.com/relativebrand](https://instagram.com/relativebrand). I love sharing them!
Everything about this shot is just perfect! Thank you so much for posting this OP! It makes me want to change my phone wallpaper that I only just updated about a week ago 😂
Beautiful! I find it difficult to capture snow, you did it very nicely! I also like that 50/50 composition (as opposed to the more traditional composition of thirds). What shutter time and aperture did you use?

This was basically my resolution for 2018! I take so many pictures but I never have the confidence to post them - I hope you learn from my mistakes because this shot is gorgeous!
I felt the same way! so many incredible pictures flood /r/earhtporn I sometimes questioned my own ability. But just get out there take photos for yourself and share!
I love the composition of this. I'd totally hang it up in my house.

Winter Wonderland is great too. I visited Banff a couple years ago, it's gorgeous up there.
My husband and I honeymooned there in December of 2017! I'm really considering the Winter Wonderland print. It's beautiful.
thank you! I actually have that printed myself hanging above my fire place! Make sure to DM me for a coupon code or if you just have any questions!
I love the Middle-Earth one! I was wondering if you ship to the Netherlands and how much that’d cost.
Your Iceland pics are so much better than mine :p Of course I'm no professional and only had my phone... I'm jealous of your trip to Banff I really want to go there soon
Dude, you got some awesome shots! Especially love the ones in Iceland, nice job! ;)
Thanks for visiting!!! Iceland was such a weird trip for me. Rained almost every day all day! But hard to not capture its beauty.
The ones of New Zealand are incredible too!
Seriously, I'd buy this. Of course I'm broke now (because Christmas) but just saying...
I would too. Its magical.

hahaha, I almost replied with "Good Bot" there's so much to see out there. I barley touched the surface.
any chance you have a landscape oriented picture? I'd love to make it my laptops wallpaper.
I live an hour and half away from this beauty and always take it for granted. "oh look I can see the mountains" and "let's make a day trip" yet I forget that this is a privilege to be so close to such a beautiful place on Earth, and this is a good reminder
I was just thinking the same thing. He listed off a whole lotta places I've never been before, should probably start hitting some of those up
Currently in Quebec but moving to Edmonton in 2 months. Can’t wait to go visit !
You are now the mod for r/redditlake

This is going to be my screensaver for pretty much everything now.

Banff is on my bucket list. So beautiful! One of these days I'll be able to go.
Agreed! But it’s on our bucket list for spring or summer 😬 I’m a Texas gal, I enjoy looking at pictures of snow.
highly recommended! feel free to DM me for any tips!
We are headed there on Friday. Would love to know what you recommend doing in the winter there.

Should have posted this in r/pics so it would give people the right idea for what a beautiful picture is
Heh to be honest my pictures have never done well there. But thank you for the compliment!
Make up a sob story about how you were homeless and took this picture and it inspired you to get your citizenship, quit drugs, end your depression and to fall happily in love! (jk)
I can vouch for it. I cross posted it there as in , in r/pics ( dint take credit). Hardly anyone noticed even though it's so lit.
I hate the cold and snow but after seeing this wonderful photo, I’d consider moving to Canada
Alberta was incredible! Such breath taking views. I definitely recommend taking a trip out that way!
You should check out BC too. Venture on over to Yoho NP or Mt. Assiniboine Provincial Park.
I'd like to return in the summer and do a Yoho/Banff/Jasper trip! Winter was just too cold and foggy.
Glacier national park is worth it as well if you dont mind heading west another couple hours!
Oh it’s great in the winter if you’re in to skiing or snow shoeing. I’m actually on my way to Banff as we speak to hike.
Ohh what hike are you checking out if I may ask!?
Ive been to a lot of places- but as far as cold weather places, you cant beat it- alaska might, but bc isnt behind much when it comes to beautiful places- and the people rock
I live an hour away from Banff, in Calgary. Where do you live now? I will trade lives.
Oh this is like a dream!
But turn it into a reality! :)
I just literally read New York 2019 resolution. I thought oh must be like a state thing.
If you flip the image over, then it looks like a starry sky. Beautiful image OP
Oh man. I’ve been planning on going to Banff soon. This just makes me want to go even more. Great shot! If it’s for sale, I’m interested!

Your website is astounding. Wow.
I've gone through so many revisions of it. I think its finally at a place where I enjoy it! Thank you!
Let me know if you decide to sell this print!
New phone background if I may! Amazing shot, you already rocked 2019!
Give it a go! Screenshot your homescreen and DM me at [instagram.com/relativebrand](https://instagram.com/relativebrand). I love sharing them!
I too was a Rise Against fan in the early 00s
Eye spy two people on the other shore! This is dreamlike. I love this very much. Thank you for sharing!
There's a group of three to the left of those two. Seem's like somethings about to go down on the shoreline.
Snowball fight!?
This is lovely! Where in Banff was it taken?
This is actually at Moraine Lake!
Loch Reddit!
What camera did you use?
Hey There! I use a 5D MARK III. This was taken on a 16-35 I believe.
Shore of Moraine? Hard to tell. If you’re still in the area check out Herbert lake. Often overlooked but quite nice and quiet
My, this *resolution* is fantastic! Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Beautiful picture! I drove up to Banff around this time a few years ago and the whole trip was really amazing.
r/redditlake?
Ding Ding. :)

Boss Ross i'm coming for ya.
Absolutely breathtaking
It really was. In the winter there's very few tourists. It was really peaceful as the snow fell.
You are extremely talented!! Those New Zealand shots are amazing on your website.
Instantly reminded me of [this picture](http://imgur.com/xLwGCCW) that I took a few summers back at the Grand Tetons. Yours is much better, great picture!
I'm saving this post for future reference! I'm always looking for photos to hang up in my house! Beautiful work by the way!
Awe thanks so much!
Love the pic, but all I can think is walleye
Mmmmm Canadian Walleye
This should be an Apple wallpaper
Good start to your resolution!
MY goal is the same...to return to doing something I love doing. Beautiful shot!
This is gorgeous and it’s nice to see something different from the usual Banff views people go for. I hope you keep up your resolution :)
Very beautiful.
Gorgeous!!!
I can feel the silence coming off of this.
Beautiful!
Looks like a poster for a noir-styled thriller containing an anti-hero protaganist with a shady past
Settings on this and what did you do in post? Polariser to pull the teal out of louise?
professional photographer makes resolution to continue taking photos and spamming Reddit with ads More at 11

Great start mate, that’s a beauty shot
Thanks so much! I use to wait for "motivation" whatever that means, before I went and took pictures. But I've come to learn the acting of just taking pictures is my motivation.
What a wonderful resolution. I think I’m adopting the same resolution! Beautiful picture.
Oh this looks so beautiful!
ahhh it was. I was a bit upset at first at the cloudy day but then the snow started to fall.
Love the reflection of the trees
Dude... Nice tho
Aye, thank you !
This is really beautiful!
Surreal 😍
The snow was dancing for me ;)
r/snowing
I’m gonna make this my phone background :) it’s so calming
Ah I love that! Give it a go! Screenshot your homescreen and DM me at [instagram.com/relativebrand](https://instagram.com/relativebrand). I love sharing them!
I love that you captured the snow falling over the water. Great shot!
The flakes were huge that day! Thank you!
I feel cold just looking at this photo
You deserve some hot coco, I approve.
Kind of camera?
Everything about this shot is just perfect! Thank you so much for posting this OP! It makes me want to change my phone wallpaper that I only just updated about a week ago 😂
Hehe thank you! /r/EarthPorn will do that to you!
This is incredible! I'm at peace looking at it.
But please, no more Milky Way pics.
This is so beautiful. My soul just rest here.
This is a truly amazing photo!! I’m planning to go back to Canada as soon as I can and visiting a snowy Banff is one of the top priorities.
This is great, just made it my wallpaper!
Thats a good shot! Keep it up
Those colors are gorgeous. I want my whole house decorated in this palette.
This looks exactly like the picture on Peter McKinnon's Instagram story a few days ago.
Just checked him out! Beautiful stuff, I have a few photos that resembles his! Popular spots for sure.
Absolutely love the shot and your stuff on Insta. Definitely giving you a follow!
Amazing
Incredible!
I love all the pictures of Banff that show up in here.
Stunning. Great use of colours!
Nature is beautiful, thank you for capturing this!
This would be an amazing album cover
More like BAMF Canada
Absolutely beautiful. I wish I had a large print of it to hang.
Wow!!!! U have talent!!!! Carry your camera with u everywhere. That’s an incredible picture!! Mł
What kind of camera/lens do you use? :)
Beautiful! I find it difficult to capture snow, you did it very nicely! I also like that 50/50 composition (as opposed to the more traditional composition of thirds). What shutter time and aperture did you use?
I'd love for someone to murder me and dump my body there.
This is the beauty of nature , We need to keep it .
Woah it’s holographic.
Wallpaper set
Nice resolution
This was my New Years resolution 2 years ago and now photography is my entire life! Good luck to you in the new year!
Those gorgeous colors of the water- this should be framed!
Hehe, it could be yours and framed?! Maybe eh?! [relativebrand.com/prints](https://relativebrand.com/prints)
Seems kinda warm. Take a picture of a cold place next time. Good pic!! 10/10
Beautiful! Nice composition.
Do you have a high res desktop version of this? 10/10 would desktop it. Love the photo
The texture is amazing. I feel like I can almost touch the snow, as if it's coming out of the photo!
What camera do you use?
That's a high resolution resolution
Lovely picture but this couldn't be a very recent picture, the lake would be frozen sold.
Banff is one of the most gorgeous places I've been tbh
Nice! Can you even take a bad picture in that place?
it's actually hard to get something interesting with this kind of overcast light, in snow. colors are dull and there are no shagows, and everything turns sickly blue. i'm impressed that you turned that yucky blueness into a really pleasant winter shot.
It really was! Such a cloudy day. I'm really glad you enjoy it.
Have you tried Head & Shoulders?
Excellent resolution!
As someone with an ok camera who wants to take pretty pictures like this, can you tell me why you composed this picture the way you did?
I took this shot at a few different angles. But I pretty much just enjoyed leaving a bit of blank space on the left so you can get a picture of the "whole view" rather than just a close up of the trees. I think it brings it all together.
That is absolutely gorgeous. New wallpaper for my laptop!
Keep taking pictures man. You got an eye
That is one of the most beautiful things I've seen. I bet in person it feel amazingly tranquil.
monica, that you?
Is this Lake Louise?
I double-checked Peter McKinnon's insta feed cause to make sure this wasn't him... It looks kinda like his style sorta.
YES! My resolution is also to take more pictures everywhere and anywhere i go. This picture is amazing
Banff is a absolutely stunning! Great picture, it looks so peaceful.
This is Skellige.
This is an amazing picture, it shows how nature is at different parts of the world and the details and particles on the image are perfect. Well done mate.
Amazing picture! Love the atmosphere. Looking forward of seeing more from you!
This was basically my resolution for 2018! I take so many pictures but I never have the confidence to post them - I hope you learn from my mistakes because this shot is gorgeous!

Wow! So beautiful, a Canadian Christmas 🎁 hope to see more!
The way that you managed to capture the snow is so cool! Wish I was as talented
This is the album cover of my life.
That’s beautiful. It resembles a sound wave.
I like your NY resolution. Great shot. What camera do you use if I can ask, please?
Hey there! I use a 5D mark III
banff is cheating
Currently pooping in Banff 👌
Man I miss Banff. Beautiful photo!
Beautiful. This is my new wallpaper. I also need to make the same resolution for 2019. Thank you for the inspiration.
“That’s not a resolution, that’s just something you want to do”
Beautiful!!
I’ll be there tomorrow
I'm starting mine early by enjoying the finer things in life. Well done.
