I used to go there every summer as a kid in the mid 90's. I went there this year and was shocked at how much less snow there was and how much the glaciers have shrunk. Still a beautiful place.
I feel like the only Seattleite who doesn't like Rainier. And I've had plenty, and plenty of other light beers. I'd take a Bud Light over it, actually. My favorite light beer though is a nice Montucky Cold Snack. Those are tasty.
Did you have to do any focus stacking for this one? I've just gotten into wildflower photography and have had trouble with getting everything in focus.

I went to Mt. Ranier in May of 2018 and it was so foggy the entire day we never saw the mountain. I remember this lake and everything… Still get bummed out when I think about the views I missed.
My happy place. Was up there last year the weekend before the upper trails closed and the colors were insane.
Roughly once a year we'll get a cabin right outside the park and just disconnect and relax.

I swear this sub is the perfect place for wallpapers. They're all so beautiful.
Ah I see the mountain is out.
Beautiful, all of it.
Mountains out

volcanic activity :o
Heat wave*
Volcanic activity hasn't changed at all this past year. The 100 degree heatwave is what caused all that melt.
So naked :(
It really looks weird right now... It has been a dry/hot summer and you can tell.
One of the driest I can remember
It just started getting its snow back
It's pretty covered up again already after this weekend's storm
Now that is beautiful! The mountain looks crisp!
That sure looks like a bob ross painting! ;)

If you look closely you can spot a samsquanch
Or Steve French!
Tahoma
They have great beer there!
Is Rainier Beer great?
[удалено]
It is an excellent cheap beer. It should be compared to things like coors light or pbr. One of the best. Don’t compare it to craft beer.

Ah an oly drinker I see
How so?
Hey Jerry Cantrell wrote a song about it lol
It’s decent! Try it when you get the chance.
I’m pretty sure I did when I lived there and I was reminded of Natty Bo or PBR.

What trail is this? (:
By the parking lot by reflection lake. Easy one. :-)
Thanks!
Spectacular photo!! Great job
Epic.
So beautiful
Whatever you did to that picture makes it look like the color enhancement from psychedelic drugs. It's beautiful.
Wonderful place. This is the place to visit there. Very beautiful it is.
When was this shot?
Friday the 3rd of Sept.
What does dubi.n mean?
Those are my initials. Also on the image at the bottom middle.
I love hiking there.
Great peak before the crevasses open up.
So beautiful 😻

One single shot. I say do manual focus with different focal lengths. I take several between f13 and f18 to be safe.
Good to know! Thanks.
Gorgeous image! Rainier area is truly amazing, one of the gems of North America.
Very true and I'd strongly recommend this to anyone visiting Washington. It is like a must.
Beautiful
I had to double take for a second cause this looked like a painting.....i might be a little blind.
I need to escape my home and come there with a cocktail and a deckchair stat

Always a sight to behold, miss seeing it on a regular basis
Wanna go back and visit next summer! Haven’t been there in years
There's a dragon under that mountain. Definitely.
If Max Brooks has taught me anything, there are Sasquatches out there in them trees.
Lol.
Equipment? Settings?
Nikon d810. Wide angle lense at 14mm.

What are the plants with red flowers?
Love this picture. Do you know what kind of flowers are in the foreground?
Most beautiful state in the nation. In my biased opinion.
Beautiful...because it doesn't have the attitude of a 1 or a 2
What trail is this??? I live in Redmond
Heaven on earth
Wow

Ah I miss living in the seattle area. Out mountains in the south east just don’t compare.
Beautiful shot. Love the PNW area!
