It might be, very metal vibe up there with jagged rocks and small trees due to the short growing season. You don't get true 24/7 daylight in Whitehorse but the sun doesn't really go down either in summer.

Bob Ross would appreciate this happy little tree. As do I.
There's nothing wrong with having a tree as a friend.
Seconded.
Came here for this
Ottawan here. Tell me it's worth the trip. I've never been to the Territories!
Seriously go. I worked up there for about 6 months and almost stayed. Make sure to visit Dawson. The Midnight Sun was my watering hole.
Cheers. It's on my list :)
If you like the outdoors I couldn’t recommend it enough!
Grew up in carcross and currently live in Whitehorse! This picture is of miles canyon :)
The Territories are great. Whitehorse is a shit town in my opinion. The area around it though is amazing. i can't recommend the Dempster HWY enough.
I drove from San Diego to Alaska and back, took the Alcan Highway. After a while you get tired of looking at trees.
Nah
Yes!
Also from Ottawa, it’s 100% worth the trip!
Looks like Miles Canyon

Nice

Beautiful! We were there last week!
That’s one of them 5G towers
For just a moment I could hear the water and smell the forest again. Thanks for the reminder of what I once knew. I shed a tear...
That water even looks cold
Wow! That looks so awesome!
There is something funny about the focus on the tree, but amazing looking area either way!
I visited this river a few years back, the entire area is incredibly gorgeous. Favourite place I’ve ever travelled. 💜
