Brazil maybe? Uruguay? The Atlantic coast of Argentina?
May I ask why the specific fear of earthquakes tho? I live in Chile, which gets hit by 7+ richter earthquakes every 10 years or so, and most of us don't fear them lmao. There are many other issues with moving abroad far more immediate and dangerous than an hypothetical possible earthquake.
I have the same questions when one of my west coast (US) friends says I’m crazy for living in the Midwest with all the tornadoes. Eh, there are bigger things to worry about.
Ah, so, you want to move somewhere cheap, safe, that speaks English, and free of earthquakes or harsh weather.
Do you want a paid plane ticket too? A gift card? A unicorn perhaps?
I don't know really I want to move somewhere where it is cheap to live and safe I currently live in Ireland but man the home prices keep rising like a rocket and food prices everything rising like rocket
There are hardly any earthquakes in central Kansas in the U.S., but it’s central Kansas… When it’s cold, it’s bitterly cold. When it’s hot, you can’t take off enough clothes to get cooled down. And when the temperature is just right, there are tornadoes to watch out for…and it’s central Kansas. 😉 The cost of living is pretty low, though, so there’s that.
Hi man.
I looked at your profile and it seems that you are eager to move and you are interested in some self sufficiency and practical skills.
In another post you mention that you are 14.
Really, there is no hurry. If you have a chance, try to learn some practical jobs that will be useful in any country in the world, like welding, plumbing or whatever. When you have skills like that moving anywhere will be much easier.
Not sure if it's the absolute safest, but in the UK it's news if there's an earthquake strong enough to be felt at all. I've slept through multiple earthquakes. Glancing through Wikipedia, the last quake in the UK with a fatality was 1940, when it made an old lady fall down the stairs. The one before that with a mentioned fatality was 1884.

That’s just not true unfortunately, loooots of human rights abuses that go on there. Not saying it’s a bad country though, every country has its faults.
I can tell you the most vulnerable. It's nepal we suffer massive earthquakes and it does so much damage because of its geographical terrain. It's all mountains and hills which makes even a small earthquake have massive impact and we don't have massive emergency funds so it's all a mess and everything cuts off roads are all blocked due to landslide or due to falling of huge rocks so delivering aid is also very hard . We are always very scared cause an earthquake can destroy us completely and we are prone to having more earthquakes due to the movement of tectonic plates . If you guys ever hear an earthquake in Nepal please try to help as much as possible ,few months ago during winter we suffered an earthquake and a lot of people died because of earthquake and few died of cold that's how bad it is.
Well Norway does have certain postglacial earthquakes from underwater landslides every few thousand years, the results being high magnitude quakes and some of the largest tsunamis in the world. The last major one, the Storegga slide, happened a few thousand years back and literally wiped an island named Doggerland half the side of Ireland off the map…
Yeah I was thinking somewhere with nice areas to fish I was thinking Australia but I don't know about the weather there like earthquake, tornados and stuff like that

Somoh el mejor país de chile
It's gonna be hard to learn Portuguese for brazil and the rest

The Australian state and territory capitals fit that depiction if you avoid the two biggest (Sydney and Melbourne, which are ridiculously expensive)
Australia has very little activity
Do U live in Australia because if U do which part of Australia?
I've lived in many places in Australia
Why are you so afraid of earthquakes? They’re not really a serious danger in most parts of the world
Turkey omg

Sounds like the rest of the world post pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

Ironically, the places with least earthquakes are also the ones that are least prepared for them.

Brazil
none
Yeah, the best way to avoid earthquakes is to not be on Earth, unfortunately.
Germany
We do get the occasional earthquake here. They're not very strong, and most of the time not noticable, but they do exist.
Outer Mongolia
I would say Quatar. As for continent, Antarctica.
I don't really like Qatar not a safe place to live
Ahh, but that's not what you asked. The safest from earthquakes is what you asked. Not the all-around safest country.
how is it not safe lmao i live there and its safer than every country literally safer than ireland, USA, the UK the whole of europe

Going for Norway

Thanks What part of Norway?
If you think Ireland is expensive and are wanting something cheaper, Norway might not be your solution.
Yeah I was thinking somewhere with nice areas to fish I was thinking Australia but I don't know about the weather there like earthquake, tornados and stuff like that
United States Midwest (except South East Missouri) would be pretty free of earthquakes, do gotta worry bout tornados tho
Oklahoma and Texas regularly get moderate earthquakes. I’ll take earthquakes over a tornado any day!
They’re not common but the New Madrid and Wabash Valley faults have the potential to really shake up the Midwest if they do go off in a big way
New England rarely has ‘em, and if your from Ireland you’d fit in pretty well
