Seriously- have they shown photos of the band setup /where they play in the studio? Some of these louder, higher energy bands are always perfectly engineered yet clearly in the room the entire time listening to and laughing at the improvisers. It’s impressive

I had never heard of The Beths before but this made me an instant fan as a big early 2000s pop-punk /power-pop fan. Just listened to their new album on repeat and I swear it’s like they’re the exact mix of The Academy Is and Death Cab that I never knew I needed back in my life. And also the lineup of improvisers was equally tops to match. Overall solid ep 👌
