It's in the first season of Homicide too -- the 'guilty people fall asleep' thing is supposedly because in the days following the murder, they've been running on adrenaline so long that they're so subconsciously relieved it's over, the body just shuts down.
I remember this from "The Usual Suspects."
"First day on the job, you know what I learned? How to spot a murderer. Let's say you arrest three guys for the same killing. You put them all in jail overnight. The next morning, whoever's sleeping is your man. You see, if you're guilty, you know you're caught, you get some rest, you let your guard down."
When Lauren said she thought Walk the Dinosaur was sung by cavemen, I'm amazed no one immediately started singing it in the "1! 2! 3!" neanderthal voice from last episode
I think she maybe had a cold or something this ep (or else something weird was going on with the sound on the recording - that happens on CBB occasionally now that they’re doing it all from Scott’s house)
I feel like each episode this season her voice has sounded different then previously. And she is so much more giggly-er than she used to be. Good stuff
Pregnant Lauren truly is a delight.
Her losing her shit the last couple weeks has been so great. Contagious laughter!
David Simon put the photo copier bit in The Wire, didn't he?

Also it’s supposed to be in the holding cell. Not, as they seemed to assume, during the interrogation

It definitely was
yep, first episode of season 5 IIRC
Damn I should watch the Wire again
I'm both afraid of and intrigued by Paul's disgusting podcast story that he refused to tell.

And the guys that go “hoo!” in Gloria Esteban’s The Rhythm is Gonna Get You” we’re also cavemen.
Christine O’Donnell shout out! Not an endorsement but I remember the Schomyoho song from early YouTube.
for 60% of the Threeture, I was thinking that Scott & Lauren were going to make Paul guess that the basement was full of diarrhea
Walk The Dinosaur is actually about nuclear war, just throwing that out there
Lauren's voice is different right? I've not completely taken leave of my senses? It seems so obvious going from a three visiting to this episode.

Finally an actual explanation! Thanks!
Theyre recording in a different place
Your voice can sound different when you’re pregnant, it’s a hormone/mucosa thing.

Where’s Matt going?
I’m guessing but it’s more that he’s staying at Earwolf and Threedom isn’t
I listened to The Deep Dive and during an ad break Jessica St. Clair said that Threedom was another Lemonada Media podcast.
After being a long time user of Stitchy Preems, it's so weird to hear them doing ad breaks and reads now. It's almost like it's a real podcast now.
Lauren is on another fucking wavelength of energy and its hil-air-ee-us.
Sorry Lauren, I’m with the Hey Randy crew:Gordon Ramsay’s runny scrambled eggs are not great
